Syfte/purpose: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur den svenska spelmarknaden har påverkats av Internets framväxt. Uppsatsen avgränsas till att se hur Svenska Spel bemöter de nya konkurrenterna på Internet. Det vill säga vilka marknadsstrategier Svenska Spel använder sig av, dessutom undersöks hur spelarna värderar de nya spelmöjligheter som framkommit. / The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how the development of the Internet has affected the Swedish betting market. The thesis is limited to see how Svenska Spel is facing the new competitors on the Internet.

Titel: Faktorer som påverkar mobiloperatörernas prissättning Författare: Bodil Arbin, Lars Holmberg Handledare: Anders Hederstierna Institution: Managementhögskolan, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola Kurs: Kandidatarbete i företagsekonomi, 10 poäng Syfte: Fastställa de faktorer som ligger till grund för operatörernas val av prissättningsmetod på olika tjänster Metod: Vi har gjort en fallstudie på en mobiloperatör, där vi använt oss av en halvstrukturerad intervjumetod. Slutsats: Prissättningen av mobila tjänster präglas av komplexa fenomen och överväganden vilket gör det svårt att penetrera. Beroende på om det är en ny eller befintlig tjänst tillämpar operatören till största del antingen en kostnads- eller marknadsbaserad prissättning där konkurrensen har stor inverkan på priset. Marknadsbaserad prissättning tillämpas i huvudsak när det gäller befintliga tjänster eftersom man då har kunskap om kunden och dennes betalningsvilja. När det gäller nya tjänster använder sig operatören i huvudsak av kostnadsbaserad prissättning eftersom tjänsten genomgår en beslutsprocess om den är lönsam eller inte och om den skall lanseras.

Sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsarbete har förändrats genom tiderna. I början av 1900-talet var sjuksköterskeyrket ett kall, vilket huvudsakligen innefattades av att se till att smittosamma sjukdomar inte spreds vidare, samt hålla patienten ren. Idag innefattar sjuksköterskeyrket ett mer komplext arbete där administration, specialistvård, teknik, patientnära omvårdnad samt kontakt med andra yrkeskategorier och instanser ska vävas samman. Syftet med den här pilotstudien var att belysa hur fördelningen av sjuksköterskans arbetsuppgifter ser ut över dygnets 24 timmar. Strukturerad observationsmetod användes för datainsamling.

Undersöka vilka olika motivationsfaktorer och belöningar är motiverande för medarbetare samt vilka belöningar är motiverande på kort och långt sikt. Även undersöka hur medarbetare förhåller sig till belöningssystem Metod: Jag har använt kvantitativ metod bestående av enkäter. Data jag samlat in, kodades om till siffror och sedan redogjordes med hjälp av olika typer av diagram och tabeller, vilket blev grunden för min analys. Slutsats: Att ha bra kontakt med sina medarbetare och chefer, att få ta eget ansvar, utvecklingsmöjligheter/utbildningsmöjligheter, att få feedback och beröm samt att få högre lön är de mest motiverande belöningarna. Utvecklingsmöjligheter/utbildningsmöjligheter är mest motiverande på långt sikt medan de övriga nämnda belöningarna är mest motiverande både på kort och långt sikt. Anställda upplever en skillnad hos de båda belöningssystemen, monetärt anses vara orättvist medan icke monetärt anses vara rättvist.

IKEA HaparandaTornio employ some two-hundred people in its furniture retail store.Keeping track of staff statistics and employee information has previously been achievedthrough the use of a basic Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet. The store?s human resourcesdepartment requested an upgrade to this system with the hope of speeding up andsimplifying the administrative process, as well as to make it easier to monitor HR-relatedtarget statistics. The following report documents the development process of that upgrade ascarried out by the author. The project draws on research in usability design and cognitivepsychology to develop a user-friendly interface.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the customer?s attitudes toward the contracting for availability, i.e., which factors are from the customer?s perspective necessary for the fulfilment of a supplier-customer agreement? Furthermore, the objective is to describe and analyse a supplier-customer relation in the Defence Industrial sphere.The present study has been carried out as a case study using an abductive approach. The thesis is based on a practical problem, i.e. which factors will be important to the customer when a contractor in the Defence Industry wants to increase its commitment of service, and how will their relationship change? The thesis is above all focused on generating knowledge that can lead to rapid and concrete measures and that can be used in the analysis of an increased industrial commitment but also as a case study of a problem of a more general nature in the Defence Industry.

I denna uppsats undersöker vi unga kvinnliga modekonsumenters attityder gentemot hållbart mode. Vi studerar också deras upplevda skillnad mellan hållbart och vanligt mode. Slutligen undersöks på vilket sätt de mjuka värdena påverkas av den hållbara egenskapen. Vi har använt oss av semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex kvinnliga respondenter i åldern 29-35 år. Resultaten har analyserats med hjälp av Maslow´s behovspyramid, ABC-modellen, konsumtentbeteende enligt Kotler et al.

The purpose of this study is to survey how the Sweden Democrats? success in the latest election to the Swedish parliament has changed teaching in social science. The main question is: in what way has the success of the Sweden Democrats influenced social science teaching? This leads to following sub-questions: 1) how do the social science teachers define the Sweden Democrats, 2) how do teachers relate to the Sweden Democrats in the classroom, 3) has there been a change in students? political opinions and 4) were there any discussions or proposals from the school administration which followed the parliamentary election of 2010? To answer these questions, interviews were made with four teachers. The main conclusion of this study is that the Sweden Democrats? success led to a simplification of teaching because phenomena and opinions that were previously taboo nowadays are normalized and thus have its place in the classroom.

Syfte Syftet med arbetet är, att genom studier av applicerande företags tillvägagångssätt vid framtagande av investeringsbeslutsunderlag och genom jämförelse av dessa med de utvärderingar företagen senare gjort, bedöma tillvägagångssättens tillförlitlighet och samtidigt visa i vilken utsträckning konventionella investeringskalkyler kan tillämpas vid bedömning av systemens värde. Metod Jag har valt ut tre intervjuobjekt utifrån utbudet av applicerande företag. Vidare har jag intervjuat två företag som utvecklar automatiserade system för rekrytering för att fördjupa kunskaperna om systemen bakom lösningarna och för att ta del av dessa företags erfarenhet av området. Slutsats Tillvägagångssätten för framtagande av beslutsunderlag är olika från fall till fall. Det går inte att peka på någon eller några regelmässigheter i dessa. Förvånansvärt många av de intervjuade företagen har förbisett lönsamhetsbedömning vid beslutstillfället och grundat beslutet på lösa förhoppningar om odefinierade kostnadsbesparingar som systemet kan komma att generera. Dock är de underlag och uppgifter som framtagits av diverse bolag riktiga med reservation för referensfakta, det vill säga vilket utgångsläge systemet värderas mot.

Background: This paper was performed by a student in the Public Health Sciences program at the University of Gothenburg as a mandate from the district administration (SDF) Askim-Frölunda-Högsbo in Gothenburg. The assignment was formed on the basis of a need for a new service with a family-centered approach in the form of a family center for families with children aged 6-12 years. The family center will be located in the Frölunda area.Aim: The purpose of this paper was to describe and deepen the understanding of the concept of a family center from a public health perspective. A particular focus was put on interventions that are aimed at children aged 6-12 years.Method: Walker and Avants (2011) model for concept analysisResults: The defined attributes that the analysis led to were the following: Collaboration, Health Promotion, Prevention and Support services and the Visitors. The created model case and the borderline cases showed a clearer picture of the concepts meaning.

Problem: In society of today corporate competence is an important factor for survivor and development. IT is developing rapidly and can not be ignored by companies. Then need for people with IT-competence is conquent increasing. A survey of corporate IT-competence is therefore of interest for companies as well as for local authorities. To determine the IT competence within an organisation, this competence has to be measurable.

Global warming is going to affect our society in many ways. One can say that the problem we face has two different sides. One of those sides has received a lot of attention, namely how we can reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases. However, because of the climate system's inertia the climate will continue to evolve over a period, no matter how much we will cut back on emissions. Because of this, we have to start adapting our society to the climate changes that we cannot influence.

In this multistudy the aim was to measure the effect of mindfulness and yoga in negative stress. Is it possible for yoga and mindfulness to increase awareness and acceptance to inner and outher circumstances? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has shown good results in how to cope with negative stress and how to stay calm in a stressful envirorment. The qualitative study where Visby Yoga Center and Stockholm Yoga Shakti attended in a survey. Correlation showed no relationship between stress and mindfulness and no significant value, n=20, Cohens d=0,16.

The purpose of this paper is to determine the established law and make researches into non-institutional compulsory care (?mellantvång?) paragraph 22 The Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (from now on called LVU) and examine whether the administration of the law is in harmony with the best interests of the child.This paper combines two methods : traditional judicial method and a social science method. In the juridical part the sources of law have been studied and in the social sciences part semi-structured interviews have been conducted with five respondents. The theoretical framework consists of ideas and theories about the best interests of the child, a concept which is one of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child's core principles.This study shows that the legislator has identified a problem and an existing need and found a solution to this by introducing a non-institutional compulsory care, paragraph 22 LVU. The problem is that Social Services do not make use of the restraint.

According to many scholars America's soft power is in decline, a power resource whose importance has been increasing in world politics. This makes it interesting to examine if there is a difference between how Democratic and Republican administrations wield their soft power.This thesis is a hypothesis-testing study and the purpose is to test the hypothesis that Democratic administrations, to a greater extent than Republican, can create, utilize and defend soft power. My thesis is based on Joseph Nye's theory of soft power and the focus of this study is the aspects of the foreign policy resources. In order to measure this concept I have made my own operationalization where five different indicators serve as my guidance. I use the method of least likely-cases to select and motivate the administrations being tested, which gives me a comparative study of the Democratic administrations of Lyndon Johnson and Bill Clinton and the Republican administration of George H.
