The Swedish government decided in 1996 that the governmental authorities are to implemementenvironmental management systems. Each year, the Swedish Environmental ProtectionAgency compiles the authorities? reports on their environmental management systems. Thecompilation shows that not more than 20 % of the authorities perform environmental audits.This study aims to investigate the authorities? view of internal environmental audits, the incentivesof performing them.

It has now passed a few months since the events in Soth East Asia during Christmas 2004. The purpose of our essay is to analyze factors that may influence the Government?s managment of catastrophes.In connection with the Tsunami disaster in South east Asia, the Swedish contingency system was the center of attraction. The criticism against the Government have not eluded many people. Not to mention the fact that the Government didn?t act rapidly and appropriately.

Syfte: Förstå hur bankens marknadsstrategier, tekniska och organisatoriska utveckling har påverkat utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet Metod Den metod vi har använt oss av är kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med beslutsfattare inom det svenska bankväsendet. Genom att göra personliga intervjuer uppkom det en helt annan kontakt med respondenten. Tanken var även att vi skulle intervjua personer på bankerna vilka dagligen arbetar med liknande frågor, detta för att få så bra kvalitet som möjligt på de svar som vi fick. Vi valde att intervjua två av de fyra stora svenska bankerna, valet föll på Handelsbanken och SEB. Slutsats Det finns primära och sekundära strategier bakom utvecklingen av finansiella tjänster på Internet i Sverige. Dessa strategier är integrerade med varandra.

The work whit the ?Art school? started in the autumn of 2005 and ended in May 2006 on distance from Stockholm towards Blekinge technology school in Karlshamn.

To create a more accessible environment for disabled people, the Swedish government, in the year of 2001, made the national act of easily eliminated obstacles valid. This national act states that all easily eliminated obstacles in the municipalities, in places and in premises that are public, shall be removed before the end of 2010, no matter if the owner of the place or premise is private or public. According to Boverket, most of the municipalities are not going to be able to reach that goal, why? The aim of this thesis is to compare the two municipalities Kalmar and Karlskrona in their way of implementing this national act, to see where it went wrong and why. By using implementation theories and qualitative empirical data in the form of interwievs with the total of eight people from different administrations in both of the municipalities, the subject was analyzed and discussed.

Anonymous job applications as a method to further diversity on the labour market is widely discussed. The method aims to promote an equal selection procedure, where the employer can only judge on merits and experience. We are with this study on the other hand interested in seeing how this specific method of employment has been implemented. We have chosen to perform a small qualitative case study, of a limited attempt of this method in the government administration of Kortedala, a district in Gothenburg.Our intrests are to see whether we can, while studying a specific implementation procedure, show that any implementation problems have occurred. Furthermore explaining it by applying our implementation theory, that consists of Lennart Lundquists three criterias for explaining implementation problems experienced from the appliers' standpoint.

The open air museum of Disagården is situated in the Old Uppsala parish, Uppsala municipality, are projected to portray a double row village, before the land enclosure, on the Uppsala plain during the 1860s and 1870s. Disagården operates under the County Museum of Uppland and serves as an exhibit of Uppland's farming culture during the late 19th century. However, an open-air museum is a complex institution where many interests are linked together. Disagården aims to simultaneously portray an historical environment while offering broad public appeal. The Disagården open air museum was inaugurated in 1931 and consists of relocated buildings that together form three farm complexes "Gränbygården", "Skuttungegården" and "Bärbygården". The thesis explores how the close surroundings of a typical farm in Uppland looked during the 1860s and 1870s. This historical depiction has then been applied to Disagården in a development suggestion creating a foundation from which Disagården can structure the close cultivation of the different farms. The basis of the development program has primarily been compiled through archival and literary studies but also through on-site visits and interviews. How did the concept of open air museums start and what were the ideas behind the concept? Which external influences affected the situating of cultivations and buildings? Which crops and species were present on the farms in Uppland during the specified time period? What was the relation of the different structures to each other? Which organizations had influences on the farmer's household of the Uppland plain? The thesis attempts to clarify the answers to these questions. The influences affecting on the farmer's household in Uppland were probably numerous.

Syfte:1. Att redogöra bakgrunden till varför praktiska utbildningar behövs, och varför det satsas på en sådan utbildningsfilosofi.2. Att granska två koncept med två tillhörande program för att påvisa viktiga likheter och skillnader, genom utbildningsplaner, intervjuer och enkäter.3. Att ta reda på vad meningen med de två koncepten är, med hänsyn till vad respondenterna säger och med mina egna tankar och åsikter.Metod: En kvalitativ undersökning bestående av intervjuer och enkätundersökningar kombinerad med vissa kvantitativa delar i enkätundersökningen.Teoretiska perspektiv: Kommunikation, lärande, teoretiskt lärande, praktiskt lärande.Empiri och analys: Meningen med utbildningskoncepten har diskuterats fram med hjälp av egna åsikter och med hjälp av svar från enkäter, personliga intervjuer och ifrån övriga respondenter.Slutsatser: Det finns flera meningar med båda utbildningskoncepten och deras respektive utvalda utbildningar. För en KY-student kan det vara att få en skräddarsydd utbildning, och för en co-op student kan det vara möjligheten till betalda arbetsperioder..

Det har visat sig att avregleringar på monopolmarknader inte alltid skapar total konkurrens då det fortfarande kan förekomma hinder efter avregleringen. Den totala konkurrensen motverkas av aktörer som sedan tidigare varit ledande på denna marknad och som vill försvara sin marknadsposition. De hinder som dessa aktörer uppsätter kallar inträdeshinder. Eftermarknaden för bilbranschen har nu avreglerats för att främja konkurrensen. Finns det inträdeshinder som motverkar fri konkurrens? Syftet med vår undersökning är att se vilka inträdeshinder som går att identifiera på eftermarknaden för bilbranschen samt vilket specifikt inträdeshinder i denna bransch som är mest svåröverkomligt. Slutsatser Två av inträdeshindren, stordriftsfördelar samt tillgång till distributionsled är inte identifierbara på det nya marknadssegment som har öppnats.

Opioider används ofta inom veterinärmedicinen för att lindra smärta hos djuren. Det finns fyra olika opioidreceptorer som opioiderna kan binda in till, my (?), delta (?), kappa (?) och opioidlik receptor-1 (ORL-1). Dessa receptorer har olika funktion och opioider har varierande affinitet och förmåga att binda in till dem. Två inom veterinärmedicinen i Sverige mycket frekvent använda opioider är butorfanol och buprenorfin.

NCC ROADS Sweden east is a part of the NCC Corporation. The company mainly produces aggregates, asphalt and concrete. They have taken the environmental issues seriously and been working with that since the middle of the nineties. When manufacturing asphalt large a quantity of fossil energy is needed. The company is now about to make further progresses by manufacturing environmental friendly asphalt (?green asphalt?) with using bio-energy.

Competence is a complex concept that encompasses many facets. This study aims fora better understanding of the concept. Many branches of business administration science would benefit from a better understanding of competence and, through that understanding, find solutions where competence is one of many variables. By combining a positivistic and phenomenological approach, this study has created a broader understanding of the concept of competence.The study combines systematic study of the relevant literature with in-depth interviewswith people representing both the employer and the union within the staffing company world.The results show that quantifying competence is a complex and next to impossible task, as it would involve including the whole concept of competence in the calculations. When this is done, the phenomenon itself becomes so complex that it loses its validity.This is why theorists who want to perform this type of calculations put most of the competence complexity in ?the black box?.

The aim of our study was to increase the awareness of the importance of implementation when a policy document is widely introduced. We wanted to examine how a political decision was implemented on different levels in a social care administration. We also wanted to examine the discretion related to the decision on different levels in the organisation, and if the work is followed up. The theoretical frame of reference in our study is Vedung?s implementation model and Lipsky?s theory about street-level bureaucrats.

Syfte:Elektronisk handel är ett växande fenomen i affärsvärlden. Att förstå företagens avsikt med e-handelsanvändning är viktigt för både akademiker såväl som praktiker. Företag, organisationer och till och med kommuner har börjat bedriva e-handel för att automatisera, effektivisera och på sikt spara pengar i sina verksamheter. Syftet med denna studie är att empiriskt beskriva e-handelns utveckling och användning i Sverige och specifikt inom den teknologiska industrin som arbetar med automation. Metod:Denna studie behandlar e-handel i automationsföretag. Respondenterna ombads att validera betydelsen av e-handel genom webbaserade enkäter.

Detta arbete behandlar vad man som organisation bör tänka på när man inför ett intranät i sin verksamhet. Jag anser att det generellt saknas riktlinjer för hur en intranätimplementering i en organisation bör gå till. De aspekter som arbetet tar upp är främst vilken information som är lämplig att distribueras via ett intranät, hur ett intranät bör administreras, underhållas och förvaltas, samt vilken implementationsplattform man skall bygga sitt intranät på. När det gäller intranätplattformar har jag begränsat min undersökning till en jämförelse mellan webbaserade intranät och intranät baserade på gruppvaruprogrammet Lotus Notes. Arbetet har utförts genom en litteraturstudie och genom intervjuer med representanter från fem olika organisationer som nyligen har, eller är på väg att införa ett intranät i sin verksamhet.Slutsatserna visar på att nästan all information kan distribueras via ett intranät och att en organisation bör införa klara och strikta regler och rutiner för hur administration, underhåll och förvaltning av ett intranät skall gå till.
