Upplevelserna av ett coachande ledarskap : och vikten av emotionell intelligens för ledare
Det coachande ledarskapet är ett ledarskap som fokuserar på samspelet mellan ledare och medarbetare. För att studera detta ledarskap så har syftet med denna undersökning varit att undersöka upplevelserna av detta ledarskap som personer med beteendevetenskaplig utbildning har. Resultatet visar att undersökningsdeltagarna värderar relationen mellan ledaren och medarbetaren som det grundläggande i ledarskapet. Förutom det coachande förhållningssättet i ledarskapet så handlar det också om hur ledaren är och vilka egenskaper han eller hon har. Det viktigaste är att ha kunskap om sig själv och sitt eget beteende som ledare och här är emotionell intelligens betydelsefullt.

The purpose of this essay is to describe the organization of the Swedish Animal WelfareAgency during the time it was in operation. The Swedish Animal Welfare Agency was established in 2005 by the government who saw it as necessary in order to strengthen the protection of cruelty to animals in Sweden. However, the agency was shut down already in2007 and its responsibilities as an agency was moved back to the government and the department of agriculture. During its time in operation, the Swedish Animal Welfare Agency, received much criticism, among other things because of its interpretations of the law which were seen as too focused on details and thus ?bureaucratic?.
Frivilligt arbete = frivillig könsfördelning?
This paper attempts to illustrate a gap when it comes to the knowledge about unpaid volunteers in Swedish organisations. The person-oriented explanations of individual preferences when choosing an orientation in which to volunteer does not suffice to explain and enlighten the fact that there is a gender-based division that orientates women towards voluntary work within organisations with a social direction, while men tend to choose sports-oriented voluntary tasks. This illustrates a pattern that is common in society in general. Eight interviews including four women volunteering in socially oriented organisations and four men in sports-oriented organisations have been conducted. An attempt has been made to explain results from earlier research as well as the respondents reasoning about their voluntary work with gender related theories.

The companies of today figures on a hardly competitive market. This makes it necessary for the company to find new way to create competition advantages. Since it is no longer enough to compete with the technical quality of the product the companies are forced to also enhance the functional quality. To accomplish this it becomes necessary for producing companies to be customer oriented. A customer oriented company culture can be reached with the help of internal marketing in which different activities work to inform and teach the employees about the company strategy and also about their own role as part-time marketers.This thesis examines Electrolux, a company which is currently striving to develop a customer oriented company culture.
Executive coaching, en väg till snabbare anpassning
I denna uppsats vill vi skapa förståelse för Executive Coachings påverkan på handling och interaktion i organisationers implementeringsprocesser, det vill säga verksamhetsstyrning. Studien är utförd ur ett aktörsperspektiv och behandlar fem coachade chefers upplevelse och syn på hur coachningsprocessen påverkat den egna organisationens styrningsprocess. I studien behandlar vi grunderna för handling och interaktion, kommunikation, dominans och sanktioner. Executive Coaching förväntas utveckla förståelse för interaktiva processer och hur individen och gruppen påverkas i dessa. Studien resultat motsvarar det förväntade utfallet hos den coachade ledaren.

In this paper I attempt to analyze the ways the European Union defines its external borders in cross-border co-operation with its neighbours. The analysis is based on case study examining the founding components of a updated version of the Northern Dimension policy of the European Union.The analytical framework of the study is composed of three different perceptions on the cross-border co-operation; regionalisation, integration and flexible integration. I conclude that the model of cross-border co-operation laid by the Northern Dimension policy would have an impact on the EU's external border with Russia, making it more flexible and vague.As far as the geographical terms of the co-operation are concerned, they seem to shift from regional co-operation to greater emphasis the role of networks as basis for co-operation instead of traditional regions..
En bra lyssnare är aldrig fel : Förväntningar kring mötet med en coach
The aim with this essay is to examine the individual's expectations in the meeting with a job coach. It has become all more common with job coaches, in order to meet the unemployment in the society. The survey builds on a quantitative method, where 29 individuals who are linked to a changeover-program towards new jobs, have replied to a questionnaire. The survey shows that the participants have expectations on the coach as a supporting function. There is also a trust to that the contact with a coach will lead to new employment.
Coaching för långtidsarbetslösa på Arbets -och - Integrationscenter (AIC)
Studiens syfte var att studera vad coachingmetoden innebär för personalen på Arbete-och Integration Centrum (AIC).Det som jag ville undersöka var på vilket sätt menar intervjupersonerna att metoden kan hjälpa långtidsarbetslösa till arbete. Den kvalitativa metoden användes och det empiriska materialet inhämtades genom intervjuer.I min studie deltog fem intervjupersoner: två deltagare, två coachingledare och en socionom. Studien visar att metoden kan hjälpa individerna till förändring och skapa motivation som kan leda till arbete eller vidare utbildning som i slut har samma syfte det vill säga arbete. Coachingen har resulterat i en ökad självkännedom vilken inneburit att deltagarna blivit tydligare i hur de vill ha det. Det framkommer att effekterna av en coaching kan innebära att man får bättre insikt i realiteter och skapar på så sätt ett bättre beslutsunderlag utifrån nya infallsvinklar.Uppsatsen visar att coachingmetoden kan användas i samband med arbetslöshet.
SSP : En kvalitativ studie av ett samarbete mellan socialtjänst, skola och polis
This thesis has examined a co-operation called SSP, between the social authorities, the school and the police, located in Malmö. The intention with SSP is to prevent crime and drug use among juveniles but also to evolve a structure for a long-term co-operation between the authorities.The purpose of the thesis was to understand and analyse what the co- operation represented and stood for. The study also examined how the co- operation was effected by differences in the organisation of the three parts.The main questions were the following; what does SSP contain, is SSP preventive and for whom, what motivates the co-operation and how is the cooperation effected by the view the authorities have on the target group?The method used for answering the questions was based on qualitative interviews with the three authorities involved. We have also searched for literature on the subjects involved.The main content of the thesis has showed that the limits of SSP are diffuse, and the focus of the co- operation lies at a structural level.

The investigation analyzed the implementation and application of the Swedish National Archives' new Process-Oriented Archives Description Model to activities of the hierarchical, function-oriented and decentralized university organizations.The basic reason why a new archive description has evolved is because documents are becoming more and more digital. It requires a new interpretation of how evidence is secured for their reliability and authenticity, and a new way of looking at provenance, for the purpose of describing and searching electronic documents. The new archive description model's logical structure is based on business processes.The relationship between the new archive description and a function-oriented organization's activities can be seen from the different outlooks of processes between archive activities and activities of the organization. It is also reflected in the modification that all universities have made ??of the new archive description model to be more flexible and pragmatic to fit a function-oriented organization.The relationship between provenance and process-oriented archive description is mainly the link between documents and business processes that produce them.

The network with its virtual business structure challenge the established vertical business structure. Part of the network theory that has developed focuses on relationships that forms B2Bnetworks. One way to create a B2B-network is for independent businesses to form a organization promoting co-operation. For co-operation to be successful it requires well thought-out actions, but a lack of how these actions are implemented have been noticed. This study explores how encouragement of co-operation can be done practically.
Samspel mellan IT-avdelningen och affärsverksamheten : En studie av attityder
IT has become more evident in most organisations and has grown to be a part of the infrastructure rather than a tool for competitiveness. Therefore focus should now lie on how IT is adjusted to the business rather than on the usage of IT. To make the best use of IT in the business the CIO needs to start think more business-oriented instead of as before, technology-oriented. To develop the IT-department in that direction the IT-staff need to start cooperate with the business and gain knowledge about stakeholders, markets and the way of working for other staff members in the business.With this as a basis, the purpose of this thesis is to investigate attitudes regarding cooperation between the IT-department and the business and if there is any difference if the CIO has business related background or not.To fulfil the purpose a quantitative investigation with the help of surveys was conducted. The sample consisted of 18 companies with 100-200 employees in the area of Jönköping.
Fysisk aktivitet som promotion i hemmiljö med sjukgymnastisk coaching
Bakgrund: Promotion och prevention är en del i det hälsofrämjande arbetet och ökad fysisk aktivitet är en av åtgärderna till bättre hälsa och förebyggande av folkhälsosjukdomar. Evidens för att använda fysisk aktivitet mot kroniska sjukdomar är hög, men siffror pekar på att Sveriges befolkning inte är tillräckligt fysiskt aktiva. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevd hälsa och fysisk aktivitets nivå samt intresset för fysisk aktivitet i hemmiljö med coaching av legitimerade sjukgymnaster Metod: Undersökningsgruppen var män och kvinnor i åldern 18-60(+) år som valdes ut bland befolkningen i Norrbotten. Datainsamling gjordes via en kort enkät och personer rekryterades via företag, föreningar och universitet. I studien ingick 108 deltagare och det var en jämn fördelning mellan män och kvinnor.
