Human capital has climbed the management research agenda as human assets make substantial contribution to the value creation in knowledge-based companies. Neither internal nor external financial statements reflect the value of an organization?s human assets. Against this backdrop, we find it interesting to explore how counting and controlling for human capital is devised.

Most of the sea areas within the European Union are overfished and the catches are estimated to be up to five times lager then the amount to achieve a sustainable fishery. In doing so, the management of EU's marine resources comes to be questioned. The purpose of this study was to analyze EU's administration of marine fisheries and to explore which steps that can be undertaken to counteract the negative trend. The questions of the study were: How does the EU administrate today?s marine fishery recourses? And: How can the problem whit overfishing be discouraged? To answer these questions a comparative analyses were used to compare and evaluate administrative systems.

The rescindment of cash management in the Swedish bank industry : a study of how to maintain the customer satisfaction while reducing the overall service offer
Sweden is going through big changes within the bank sector. Increasing card usage, decrease of cash acceptance in the society, an attempt to reduce money laundering, and a possible increase in profitability has lead to the rescindment of cash management among three of the four major banks. This has lead to a big debate in the society, a lot of frustration from customers, and a drop in customer satisfaction for every bank that started the process of removing cash management.
The purpose of this study is to find out how the banks could keep their customer satisfaction when removing cash management. When doing the study, the rescindment of cash was a deduction of a part of the service, compared to the normal adding or starting of a service. The study was done through a focus group that was the base of a questionnaire that got answered by 125 respondents.

Vi har genom intervjuer med företag och revisorer kommit fram till den hÀr slutsatsen:I praktiken har inte företagen upplevt nÄgra större pro-blem. Företagens problem bestÄr dels av det merarbete som kommer av URA 46, dels de höjda konsultkostna-derna som följer av vÀrderingsproblematiken. The aim of this work was to investigate possible risk factors for colic in horses, and to describe what horse owners can do to prevent this condition.
The gastrointestinal system of the horse is constructed for continuous high fibre consumption for a period up to eighteen hours a day. Under those conditions, the continuous flow of digesta stimulates gut motility so that the intestines move constantly. When the diet is changed rapidly and the horse is being fed high rations of concentrates each day, the risk of getting colic is higher compared to when consuming less concentrates and giving the horse a stable diet.
Lack or absence of access to water and restricted allowance to move freely every day increases the risk of colic. Changed management practices and decreased activity contributes to increased risks, as well as other critical risk factors such as breed, season and age combined with rapidly changed management.
More knowledge and education is required of the horse owners about feed requirements in the horse, management routines and rapidly changed activity..
Talent Management ? Företagens vÀg till framgÄng?
DÄ konkurrensen mellan företag har blivit hÄrdare och att behÄlla de talangfulla medarbetarna blivit viktigare har Talent Management fÄtt större utrymme i dagens forskning och fler företag har börjat anvÀnda sig av det. Talent Management handlar om att attrahera och ta vara pÄ talanger i företag och att ha rÀtt person pÄ rÀtt plats vid rÀtt tidpunkt.För att fÄ bÀttre förstÄelse för hur företag arbetar med Talent Management och om det Àr nÄgot som Àr positivt för företag, har vi valt att göra en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer pÄ ett fallföretag inom banksektorn. Vi har utgÄtt frÄn ett företagsledningsperspektiv och har dÀrför valt att intervjua respondenter pÄ ledande positioner. Sex personer har intervjuats och vi har sedan analyserat resultatet med hjÀlp av olika teorier inom Àmnet Talent Management. Syftet har varit att undersöka om Talent Management kan leda till konkurrensfördelar för företaget.Det som framkommit under empirin Àr att respondenterna Àr positiva till arbetet med Talent Management och kan se mÄnga fördelar till följd av detta.

The aim of this study was to increase the knowledge about if and how the National Value System?s goal of a life with dignity for the elderly pervades the work in home care organisations. The study was based on a qualitative research method and was conducted through interviews with professional care givers in home care organisations, there were five individual interviews and one pair interview. The background for this study was the National Value System for the eldercare that was introduced in 2011. The theory of New Public Management and the concept of Rationality of Caring were used to analyse the result.
