This assignment is a venture into the use of the concept alchemy in the texts on analytical psychology written by Carl G. Jung. Originally the idea was to compare the blending of colours in art painting with the Jungian understanding of alchemy. In order to understand the many and it seems differentiated correlations to alchemy in the texts on analytical psychology written by C.G. Jung, I have found it necessary to investigate the history of alchemy in modern Europe and the Egyptian figure of Hermes Trismegistos.

The purpose of this study has been to examine how Afro-Cuban musical traditions and concepts are integrated in compositions for solo guitar by the Cuban guitarist and composer Ñico Rojas and how this can be expressed in the performance of his music by a classical guitarist. For this purpose a guide to Rojas music, which is included in this report, was written based on literature about Afro-Cuban music. Then a classical guitarist learned to play a piece by Rojas with help from the written guide. The result was examined using recordings of the guitarist's interpretations and an interview with him. The conclusion is that different aspects of the Afro Cuban musical tradition are present in Rojas? music, but that the concept of the clave was the most useful aspect for the classical guitarist that interpreted the music of Ñico Rojas in this study..

I dagens samhälle är det troligen ingen som har undgått termen yoga. Yoga finns på nästintill vartenda gym och termen dyker även upp i olika hälsotidningar från stund till stund. Benämningar så som Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, meditation, asana, andningskontroll och cakra förekommer i alla olika kombinationer. Ibland i sådan mångfald att man som läsare inte uppfattar någon skillnad på vad innebörden av dessa termer är, och det hela framstås som ett enda stort virrvarr.Uppsatsens kommer att lyfta fram två yogaformer, av den mångfald som existerar, nämligen Klassisk Yoga och Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Ett argument varför detta är ett intressant fält att beskåda, är av den anledning som nämndes ovan, nämligen mångfalden som ter sig att bli rörig.

Bostadsprisutvecklingen i Stockholmsregionen har de två senaste decennierna varit mycket kraftig och från många håll diskuterats omfattande huruvida detta är en växande bubbla och när denna kommer spricka. Utöver detta har tendenser till högre belåning och fler hushåll med rörlig ränta noterats i Storstockholm. Med detta följer en högre räntekänslighet, där prisuppgångar ger hushållen stora tillgångsökningar medan ett prisfall skulle leda till en ansträngd situation på Stockholms bostadsmarknad som implicit skulle påverka det monetära systemet. Uppsatsen är därför skriven för att framställa argument till varför prisbilden kan förändras på olika sätt.Begreppet "bubbla" kan skilja sig beroende på vem som tillfrågas och det finns därför flera perspektiv när man diskuterar bubblor. Uppsatsen avser analysera historisk statistik, studera rapporter från institut och forskare samt att försöka se tidigare bostadsbubblor.

The purpose of this study was to highlight LGBT asylum-seekers experiences of expressing their sexual identity or gender identity in the country of origin and in the asylum process in Sweden. By interviewing people who got permanent residence in Sweden because of gender or sexual orientation in Utlänningslagen (2005:716) we have been able to explore their own experiences from expressing themselves. This study analyse these experiences from a social psychological perspective, from this analysis we aimed to obtain a deeper understanding of how the experiences from the country of origin affects on the experiences in the asylum process. This study shows that LGBT asylum-seekers often is facing negative reactions from the environment in the country of origin, these reactions can limit their possibilities to express their sexual identity or gender identity in the asylum process in Sweden. The negative reactions they experience in the country of origin have contributed to that many LGBT people internalize feelings of fear to express themselves, feelings that often stays when they come to Sweden to seek asylum.

Although textbooks are scientifically proven that they are important and central to the school curriculum one should think critically about the content in textbooks - is it really compatible with the curriculum of following the textbook tradition? As a teacher there are different ways to reflect on which textbook to choose. It is important to compare several textbooks with each other and be aware that a textbook should follow the curriculum. A teacher examines many sections/topics in the textbooks, but in this paper only one section will be reviewed among four different textbooks. The section to be compared, in the paper, is the interwar period.

Den här uppsatsen är en litteraturstudie vars syfte är att ge en inblick i läroboksstyrd undervisning i matematik sett ur ett lärarperspektiv. Frågeställningarna behandlar hur mycket och på vilket sätt läroboken används i matematikundervisningen i grundskolan samt vilka skäl som lyfts fram i litteraturen för att använda lärobokstyrd undervisning.Resultatet visar att lärobokstyrd undervisning är mycket vanlig undervisningsmetod som används i matematikundervisningen i grundskolan. Läroboken används för att enkelt kunna nivågruppera eleverna, för att underlätta för lärarens planering, som en lärare, som en garanti att läro- och kursplanens mål uppnås, som en uppslagsbok och att eleverna kan arbeta självständigt. De argument som lyfts fram i litteraturen för läroboksstyrd undervisning är att den undervisningsformen har en tradition, är tidsbesparande för bland annat nyutexaminerade lärare samt att matematikämnet är hierarkiskt uppbyggt. Ytterligare argument för lärobokstyrd undervisning är att den ger undervisningen struktur, läroboken innehåller differentierade uppgifter samt är en idéspridare för nya metoder.Uppsatsens resultat visar flera fördelar med läroboksstyrd undervisning.

AbstractVad ger ett argument mandatet att kallas rättsligt? Uppsatsen söker svara på frågan om hur icke-formella argument ska hanteras, särskilt med fokus på ett domarperspektiv. Som teore-tiskt avstamp jämförs ett polycentriskt synsätt på rättsordningen med en mer traditionell syn på rättskällorna. Den teoretiska grunden används sedan för att jämföra vilka konsekvenser de olika perspektiven får i en konkret hantering av icke-formella juridiska argument, medvetna och omedvetna. För att göra diskussionen mer gripbar används, i del tre, den tvärvetenskapli-ga inriktningen terapeutisk juridik för att exemplifiera argumentationen.Tre nyckelaspekter genomsyrar arbetet.

Gender and politics, how well do they match? An interesting way of studying gender and politics is therefore to look at the legislation proposals from the government. In Sweden when the government make a legislation proposal it have to have a chapter that consider the aspect of equality between men and women. This paper aim to study the language in the gender aspect of the legislation proposal. This is done from a gender perspective.

Syfte: syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur revisionsplikten används vid skattekontroll. Vidare avser vi att uppskatta revisionspliktens värde för skattekontrollen i små aktiebolag. Slutligen ämnar vi undersöka om revisionspliktens värde för skattekontroll är ett starkt argument för att bibehålla revisionsplikten i små aktiebolag i Sverige. Metod: undersökningen har präglats av en kvalitativ metod med ett abduktivt synsätt. För att beskriva hur Skatteverket använder revisionsplikten i kontrollarbetet samlades skriftligt material in, samt personer på Skatteverket och Ekobrottsmyndigheten intervjuades.

Den nuvarande svenska abortlagen infördes 1975. Lagen innebär att kvinnan har rätt att avbryta graviditeten fram till vecka 18. År 2006 genomfördes totalt 36 045 aborter. Litteraturstudiens syfte var att beskriva män och kvinnors upplevelser i samband med abort. Studien baserades på totalt åtta vetenskapliga artiklar.

Aim:               Our aim is to make a critical review of the glorification of leadership, by describing the practical work of leaders, compared to what is written in management literature.    Method:         We have applied a qualitative approach in our study and implemented seven interviews to illustrate our respondents? experiences and opinions. All of our respondents have leading positions with their current companies. To analyse the results from our interviews, we have compared them with literature written in the subject, mostly management literature.                   Results & Conclusions:  We have concluded that there is a connection between the theory and our empirical material.

This report is a bachelor thesis presented at the department of Computer Science andEngineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The aim for the project is to find a simplemethod to measure and display physical quantities in a three dimensional room.The report describes a method to construct a system for measuring differentphysical quantities via sensors. The system must be built in a modular and expandable way tobe adaptable to different tasks.The system explained in the report consists of two parts;A physical scanner with moveable probes for carrying sensors and a microcontroller forcontrolling the probes and communicating with the next part.An application written in Java for storing the measured values and presenting them in a lucidperspective.It is possible to construct the scanner with different designs and circuitry, with multiplexers andflip-flops, to ensure that an unspecified number of probes can be added to the system and thatthey can be operated simultaneously.The Java application is written in a modular way, using a design pattern that separates eachindividual part of the application. It contains exceptions and interfaces that ensure a safe andexpandable application..
