Vår C-uppsats har varit inriktad på att undersöka etableringen av Alnour International School i Luleå höstterminen 2007. Skolan kommer att vara en internationell skola där eleverna erbjuds undervisning i islamsk kultur, religion och arabiska språk. Syftet var att, ur både ett religiöst och samhällsperspektiv, undersöka hur Alnour beskriver behovet av en internationell friskola och dels vilka argument motståndarna ger mot Alnours etablering. Vi har studerat relevant litteratur, samt tagit del av Lpo 94 och skollagen. Som informationshämtande metod har vi använt oss av kvalitativ fallstudie i form av intervjuer med två personer som är kunniga inom området.

And throughout the years many loanwords have been introduced to the Swedish vocabulary. And this phenomenon occurs in the texts written by Swedish sport journalists. But in what extent do loanwords from the English vocabulary occur in texts written by Swedish sportjournalists, in what types of texts they can be found. And also why the usage of loanwords occur.The purpose of our study is to find out how frequent English loanwords are in Swedish sports journalism.

The aim of this study was to search for a link between the subject pictorial studies in means of expression and the ability to communicate in written and spoken language. To do so findings in relevant literature and a few complementing theories was addressed to cast light on interviews made with teachers dedicated to the subject pictorial studies in a subject-integrated curriculum.Interviews were conducted with nine teachers and all but one were teachers in the subject pictorial studies, spread across all of the nine grades in compulsory school. Informants were located in areas of socioeconomically high as well as low status, in central and densely populated areas as well as areas less densely populated. The diverse theoretical background consisted of semiotics, constructivist theory, social constructivist theory and genre theory. Theories and literature partly both contradicted and supported each other, depending on situation and circumstance.No evident conclusion could be made that discriminated one affecting cause from another on speech or writing skills.

Bevis och bevisföring är dock också ett komplext och svårt område, inte bara för lärare och elever, vilket leder till att det inte får den plats och betydelse i matematikundervisningen, som det bör få. I denna systematiska litteraturstudie har det undersökts vilken betydelse och roll bevis och bevisföring har för matematikundervisningen. The aim for the project is to find a simplemethod to measure and display physical quantities in a three dimensional room.The report describes a method to construct a system for measuring differentphysical quantities via sensors. The title of this essay is Project: The Veil ? an investigation of the trends in the Swedish veil debate compared with the veil debate in France and Great Britain written by Cecilia Lindvall. The purpose of the paper is to analyze how the argument has been conducted by the Swedish politicians from the time when the veil was first recognized in Swedish media up until today. The questions I wanted to answer was each countries definition of the three concepts secularization, freedom of religion and multiculturalism, how Islam as a faith with Muslims has developed in Sweden, France and Great Britain and each countries integration politics with the politicians attitude towards the veil. The method being used is a qualitative study with three kind of theories for analysis; two who derives from a feminist point of view where the first one advocates for the rights of each women, the second for the rights of religious groups and a third theory which discusses different models of integration logics.

Denna uppsats avser att analysera bokomslagens retoriska argumentation. Genom att studera vilka argument som förekommer på omslagen, är arbetets syfte att undersöka hur en potentiell läsare lockas till att köpa just den boken. Totalt tolv titlar, sex från Albert Bonniers förlag och sex från Norstedts, utgör analysmaterialet. Detta analyseras med hjälp av en hermeneutisk retorisk metod, tillsammans med teorier från den klassiska såväl som den visuella retoriken. Även litteraturvetenskaplig teori rörande bokomslagets uppbyggnad används.

Title: Eurythmics, and building boats -A study in tacit knowledge.The education of eurhythmics at Malmö Academy of Music, is a program where a major part of the tutoring is oral; very little written information about the method is used. This essay will examine the forms in which the current knowledge base exists, as well as the methods in which this information is transmitted from teacher to student, and in which form the knowledge about the method of eurhythmics is existing. The tools for analysis are the theories on tacit knowledge. Interviews and written surveys are used as qualitative research methods. The content of these interviews and surveys are presented in the results chapter.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur argument som bygger på statistik kan förstås utifrån den klassiska retoriken. Utgångspunkten är den vanligt förekommande uppdelningen av bevismedel som antingen tillhörande konsten eller inte, där statistik ofta placeras i den senare kategorin. Denna uppdelning undersöks kritiskt genom en nyläsning av Aristoteles, Cicero och Quintilianus.Uppsatsen visar att Cicero ger ett bättre retoriskt perspektiv än Aristoteles eller Quintilianus för att förstå hur statistikargumentation fungerar. Därför används just Ciceros topiker (loci) såsom de är systematiserade i verket Topica för att analysera två debatter om jobbfrågan mellan Fredrik Reinfeldt och Stefan Löfvén under valåret 2014. Analysen finner främst 9 loci i debatterna, och belyser därmed flera olika sätt som statistik kan användas för att skapa argument i retoriska syften..

Före 1900-talets början uppfattades barn som små vuxna och billig arbetskraft. I rapporten presenteras en historisk tillbakablick som visar att redan på tidigt 1900-tal började diskussionen kring unga brottslingars straffansvar ta form. Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka om straffmyndighetsåldern skall sänkas eller bibehållas. Det inledande materialet till denna rapport hittades i Umeå universitetsbibliotekets arkiv. Efter en intressant undersökning i gamla lagböcker och lagtexter fann författarna svaret till när straffmyndighetsåldern blev satt till 15 år.

The aim of my study is to investigate if and in that case how the writing process and texts written by students in the upper secondary school are affected by the writing tool; does it matter if they write their texts on a computer or by longhand? Another objective is to compare such an effect with the findings of previous studies performed on earlier generations of writers. The first part of my study was a survey. It showed that two thirds of the 67 students participating thought that they would have written better texts in the national writing test if they had been able to use computers. In the second part of the study each of the fourteen participants wrote one text on computer and another by hand.

This is a non-traditional examination paper written after three years of studies at Malmö University and the Kaospilot Program. It is written in Swedish and in the spring of 2009. It describes a non-linear project based on a process-orientated theory called Theory-U by Otto C. Scharmer (2009). The project aims to investigate the changing conditions of Stage Theatre and deals with non-linearity as phenomena.

Detta är ett examensarbete på c-nivå från lärarprogrammet vid Linköpings Universitet. Det undersöker hållbarheten hos tre argument för matematikutbildning vid en applikation på sjuksköterskeprogrammet, också det vid Linköpings Universitet. Arbetet ifrågasätter att matematikutbildning är viktigt för vidare fortbildning samt att matematikövning skulle gynna tankeförmågan. Arbetet undersöker även argumentet att nivån på matematik-kunskaper används för att gallra ut vilka elever som är lämpliga för vidareutbildning.Resultatet som framkommer i undersökningen visar att argumentet att matematiken är viktig för fortbildning är hållbart då det appliceras på sjuksköterskeprogrammet, matematikutbildning på gymnasienivå är en viktig förberedelse för de elever som söker fortbilda sig på sjuksköterskeprogrammet. Resultatet visar även att de studenter som läser på sjuksköterskeprogrammet övar flertalet ?tankeförmågor? i samband med sitt matematikutövande och resultatet visar därmed att argumentet att matematiken gynnar tankeförmågan är hållbart.
