This new system, though, require anall new type of infrastructure, differing from what we are used to see in our cities. Demens är ett samlingsnamn för sjukdomar som medför minnessvårigheter och personlighetsförändring, vilket i sin tur kan sänka livskvaliteten. Syfte: var att beskriva aspekter av vad livskvalitet kan vara för personer med demens på särskilt boende. Metod: Detta är en litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design. Nio artiklar som besvarade studiens syfte valdes från databaserna Cinahl och Medline.

Smärta är en obehaglig, subjektiv och individuell upplevelse som kan indelas i akut- och långvarig smärta beroende på dess tidsaspekt. En akut smärta kan övergå till långvarig smärta vilket minskar patientens livskvalitet och ökar den samhällsekonomiska kostnaden. Sjuksköterskan har en viktig funktion i att lindra patientens smärta då bedömning och behandling av smärta är en av sjuksköterskans huvuduppgifter. This essay examines the public debate concerning the unemployment of Sweden just before the general election 2005. Its main purpose is to analyse what lies behind the huge differences in statistics, as presented by the two leading factions in the debate. It concludes that these differences are foremost a problem of semantics, and that although the two factions have statistical proof of their claims, it is their use of terminology that is in fact their main weapon in the debate.The key word here is the swedish word for employment ? sysselsättning ? which the two facitons use in entirely different ways, creating a lot of possabilities for interpretation. Background: Infection with Human Papillomavirus, HPV, is one of the world's most common sexual transmitted infections. The virus causes genital warts (condyloma) but certain virus types can cause cancer. The most common cancer type caused by the virus is cancer of the cervix. Nowadays there is a screening program for women between 23 and 60 years of age where Pap smears of the cervix is taken to discover abnormalities at an early stage. Cervical cancer is very common all over the world and this screening program saves many lives, but not in the less developed countries since the screening program is too expensive.

Warehouses are a key aspect of modern supply chains and play a vital role in the success or failure of businesses today. Figures from the USA indicate that the capital- and operating costs of warehouses represent about 22 % of a company?s logistics costs while figures from Europe indicate 25 % (Baker & Canessa, 2009). Because warehousing is such an important function within a company, the authors chose to focus on this in their thesis. This study focuses on nationalism in Central and Eastern Europe. Anchored in theories that this region historically has been characterized by a nationalism that is based on the ethnic group rather than on liberal or civic concepts, it is the purpose of this study to explore whether these theories still apply in recent times when the region has been liberalized, for example manifested in the entry to the European Union. The research question has been tested through analysis of the constitutions of a number of Central and Eastern European countries in order to investigate what type of nationalism that the states have codified in their basic political documents. The results show that some of the states give expression to the historical ethnic nationalism in their constitutions, which indicates that the theories still are relevant..

The reason I am writing this essay is due to my curiosity on how children are interested in and how their understanding in geometry is at preschool years.My interest lies in children and arithmetic and especially geometry, which is something I belive that children deal with a great deal in their everyday routines, both in school and at home.What do children do when they work with geometry, and are they aware of what they do? To figure this out, I have taken my findings from three different interviews that I have done atmy preschool with a group of children that have been preselected.I am also curious about whether there is a difference in different types of schools. In this essay I have compared the preschool I work with a Montessori school and a third type of schoolwhere the children spends most of their day´s outdoors called ?Ur och Skur?In my results I can not see any major differences in these three preschools work with mathematics. Bakgrund: Varje år lider globalt ca 60-80 miljoner par av infertilitet och cirka hälften av dessa beror på manlig infertilitet, som är ett multifaktoriellt syndrom. Låg eller ingen spermieproduktion står troligen för 50 % av fallen. Orsakerna kan vara genetiska eller förvärvade miljö- eller livsstilsfaktorer. Stor andel diagnostiseras dock med idiopatisk infertilitet. Den ökande prevalensen av diabetes mellitus kommer troligen att öka förekomsten av subfertilitet (nedsatt fruktsamhet) eller infertilitet.

The aim of this study is to investigate oral peer review on argumentative speech and to study the attitudes towards this peer review. The investigation was performed in an up-per secondary school class, and it focused on the different types of oral responses students give each other. In addition, the study investigated in what way the students experience this type of peer review. The results show that students reflect on form and performance as well as content, but they place more emphasis on form and performance than content. Students are positive about peer review and its importance for their progress.

Through a case study at an IT company we have attempted to ascertain how a company's organizational culture affects its designers' way of working. By examining what ?type? of designers the employees are and how this is reflected in their work, we hope to have correctly determined what their organizational culture looks like and thereby have achieved a plausible result in our study.Aside from two interviews with the company's CEO, we also performed eight observations at the company, where we tried to blend in with the employees, to better determine their way of working together.We have found that the designers' trust in their own instincts has led them to rarely act on feedback from clients ? they only pick out the proposals which have a ?mainstream? potential. We have also discovered that their design approach is something they don't feel inclined to discuss amongst themselves. As it is often ?indescribable?, they go with their intuition and unspoken design conventions..

Bakgrund: Fetma är ett växande problem i samhället. I Sverige har hela 11 procent av befolkningen fetma, alltså ett BMI över 30. Fetma ger olika följdsjukdomar såsom hypertoni, diabetes och stroke som står hälso- och sjukvården dyrt, men fetma påverkar individen mycket mer än så. Då det inte finns någon annan lösning kan överviktskirurgi bli aktuellt. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturöversikten är att belysa vad som påverkar upplevelsen av hälsa, välbefinnande och livskvalitet hos personer med fetma, före och efter behandling med överviktskirurgi.

Den fysiska inaktiviteten ökar och därmed förekomsten av hälsorisker diabetes och hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar som är nutidens största folkhälsosjukdomar. Undersökningar visar att alla elever inte deltar i idrottsundervisningen fullt ut samt att ursäkterna för detta ökar. Mycket tyder på att ämnet och dess lärare marginaliseras i skolan då allmänheten saknar förståelse för dess syfte och målsättning. Tidigare forskning visar även att elevers förväntningar inte alltid överensstämmer med undervisningen vilket gör att denna inte blir meningsfull för dessa. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka faktorer som påverkar rörelseglädje genom fokusgruppssamtal med föräldrar till barn i Hälsoprojektet, där rörelseglädje har dokumenterats.
