Denna rapports mål är att få en geografisk överblick över vilka församlingar Derome Skog AB gör många respektive få råvaruinköp i. Hur mycket den verkliga volymen skiljer sig från den uppskattade, samt hur stor andel av antalet inköp som är PEFC ? certifierade.Information om virkesåren 2005-2007 hämtades och studerades från företagets affärssystem och kartprogram. Resultatet visade att antalet inköp var som störst virkesår 2005. Geografiskt sett hade företaget som flest råvaruinköp i församlingarna i nära anslutning till koncernens egna sågverk.

I de nordliga regionerna förekommer kallt klimat under vinterhalvåren. Som en följd bildas is i älvarna vilket kan påverka produktionen för ett vattenkraftverk negativt. Vattenfall AB äger en mängd vattenkraftverk som årligen drabbas av produktionsförluster under vintertiden. Syftet med detta examensarbete är därför att kvantifiera och analysera Vattenfalls isrelaterade produktionsförluster inom de svenska gränserna. Huvudsakligen behandlar denna rapport de fallförluster som isen orsakar över intagsgrindarna och i älvsträckorna nedströms Vattenfalls vattenkraftstationer.

The aim of this essay is to see how the IOGT, local politicians and the local newspaper acted in the city of Hedemora in Sweden in connection with the referendum held in 1922 whether or not to ban the use of alcoholic beverages. To accomplish this I have examined protocols from local IOGT-groups, the town council and the local newspaper Södra Dalarnes tidning. I find that the local IOGT not only worked with the issue of alcohol but served as an institution that deepened democracy and education in the local community through discussions, study circles and applying pressure on local politicians. The locally elected bodies in turn were generally in favour of the good work the IOGT did, although not always overwhelmingly so. Many of the local politicians that handled the issues of alcohol were themselves active members in organisations promoting absolutism.

The focus of this thesis is the group as a pedagogical tool. It investigates whether and how what is known of group size can help further schools in fulfilling knowledge and democracy goals and moreover how such knowledge can influence the principals? management. The mission of school education is to provide the basis for each pupil?s individual development and in the end it is pupils? individual performances which are graded.

A qualitative text analysis has then been used as a method of analysing the material.Main results: Solo G focuses a lot more on celebrities than Solo. Solo G uses the celebrities as role models to the youth to look up to.

Diabetes är förenat med många följdsjukdomar och för tidig död. Detta ger upphov till betydande samhällskostnader. Socialstyrelsen har utformat nationella riktlinjer som ska ligga till grund för vårdprogrammen i respektive landsting.

The cultural policy area has a tendency to be seen as a consensus area, where there are no big conflicts between the parties. The aim of this master?s thesis is to study the moderate party?s cultural motion 2005/06Kr:233 with the party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt as first author. If consensus rules, the party?s ideology should not be visible in the motion, but the assumption in the thesis is that it is visible.

Background: Goodwill has been a hot and debated topic for a longer period of time. Researchers have debated how goodwill should be accounted for and have not come to a solution. In 2005 IFRS standards came which meant that goodwill no longer will be amortized according to plan, but to be put through a yearly impairment test.Problem: A number of disclosure requirements in the financial reports have been made in an effort to avoid companies to account for goodwill differently. Apparently there still is a problem of how companies account for goodwill and there are several studies in the subject. But no one has studied how it is between two different industries, which make this study interesting to execute.Purpose/questions: This study have the purpose to investigate how the industries day to day wares and health care regards the disclosure requirements for goodwill by the impairment tests.

This review article presents the splicing process during messenger RNA maturation and how it is regulated by different Cis-regulatory RNA-sequence elements and splicing factors. A more detailed description of the process alternative splicing and its importance to the function of genes from the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana is also given. A single eukaryotic gene can by the process alternative splicing (AS) give rise to a number of functionally mature mRNA-molecules, which in turn encodes for structurally and/or functionally different proteins. During the course of evolution, the process alternative splicing has thus shown to be effective in increasing transcriptome and proteome diversity of most eukaryotic organisms. This suggests therefore that the dominant theory in molecular biology, a gene encodes for a protein, needs to be corrected.

Det är därför viktigt att utveckla strategier som motiverar människor till träning. Visualisering är en teknik som visats ha en motivationshöjande effekt hos motionärer. Kim och Giacobbi (2009) menar dock att det finns ett behov av att skilja på innehåll, syfte och effekter inom motionsvisualiseringen och att ett nytt mätinstrument därför behövs. Syftena med studien var därför att: (1) utveckla och testa mätinstrumentet the Individual Profile of Imagery Experiences in Exercise (IPIEE; Weibull & Johnsson 2010), samt att (2) studera motionärers frivilliga och spontana visualiseringsupplevelser.

Investigations concerning adolescent mental health shows a negative development. Many pre-vious studies have focused on young women's mental health. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate young men's (17-19 years) experience of their mental health. Qualitative interviews were used as a method. The participants were six young men who all go to high school in a major municipality in the county of Gävleborg.

Transportinfrastruktur är en grundförutsättning för en funktionsduglig ekonomi. Förbättringar av transportnätet kan resultera i minskade produktions- och transaktionskostnader, förenkla handel samt underlätta teknisk utveckling genom kunskapsöverföring företag emellan. Investeringar i transportinfrastruktur beskrivs ofta som en av de viktigaste förklaringsvariablerna till produktivitet och det senaste seklets höga tillväxttakt. Ett lands geografiska och demografiska förutsättningar kan komma påverka storleken på investeringseffekten. I dagens Europa med högt moderna transportnät väcker detta frågan om vilken betydelse dessa nyinvesteringar har för BNP-tillväxt och om industrialiserade länders transportinfrastruktur har passerat en optimal nivå.Genom att ekonometriskt undersöka ett datamaterial för fjorton europeiska  länder under åren 1987 och 2005 har vi studerat investeringar i väg och järnväg och dess påverkan på BNP-tillväxten.
