Syftet med studien har varit att ta reda på vad som hänt efter framgångsåret 2005 när Sävsjö kommun blev vald till årets företagsvänligaste kommun av Veckans Affärer. Min utgångspunkt har varit en rapport jag skrev våren 2008, där syftet var att titta på orsakerna till kommunens framgång samt hur detta hade påverkat Arbetsförmedlingen lokalt. Svaren i det tidigare utförda arbete har legat till grund för frågeställningarna i detta arbete där kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med företrädaren för Sävsjö Näringslivs AB, kommunstyrelsens ordförande, en person på Arbetsförmedlingen, verksamhetsledaren för Science Park systemet samt med två företagare. Resultatet i studien pekar på att samtliga frågeställningar som arbetats med varit viktiga i bevarandet och utvecklingen av ett gott företagsklimat inom Sävsjö kommun, men samtidigt finns tre ingredienser som varit avgörande. Två av orsakerna framkom redan i det tidigare utförda rapportarbetet, nämligen samverkan som lett fram till målmedvetet arbete.

Recent studies made by Margaritis and Psillaki,have shown that a lower debt ratio and higher efficiency are correlated in their studies performed oncompanies in New Zeeland. Other researchers have been able to show a connection between other industries than the one used in our studies,among these are Titman and Wessler. These studies have been done with a great selection of companies in different industries and time periods. However most of these researchers have used traditional ratios and variables.This study aims to find and analyze connections between returns and lower debt ratios in real estate companies listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. Instead of the traditional debt-equity ratio we will construct our own taking long term debts and property assets.

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the publication- and citation patterns of the articles concerning bibliometrics, informetrics, scientometrics, and webometrics which can be found on Web of Science, and give a brief description of how the definition of the four terms has developed. I have looked at how the number of published papers have developed over the years and to what extent they have been quoted by other researchers. I have also briefly adressed what other research fields are referring to articles published in the four areas. The material I looked at includes articles that can be found on Web of Science with one (or more) of the four terms as topic and are categorised under library- and information science starting with the first bibliometrics article which was published in 1969, and ending in 2013. The results show that the publications in all four fields are continuously increasing.

This paper investigates the relations between the fantasy genre and the phenomena of escapism. It also delves into the factors which motivates consumption of various fantasy mediums. This is done through interviews with six different fantasy-consumers, along with two observations; of which one is performed at a science fiction convention and the other at a table-top role playing game. The study resulted in a basic understanding of escapism ? it is not limited to the fantasy genre, and fantasy consumers do not deny that fantasy is a form of escapism.

Production requires the input of capital and labour. Hence, economic growth can be assumed to follow from increased levels of these two factors. Policies aimed at increasing production may consequently successfully be focused on facilitating the accumulation of capital and labour. However, even when an economy has managed to reach the same quantities of input factors as a more prosperous neighbour, the level of the production might still differ. The explanation of this lies in what economists refers to as expression embracing the characteristics of the input factors and the conditions in which they operate.In this thesis a calculation of total factor productivity is carried out, using existing data on the Swedish FA-regions between 1990 and 2005 and the method the economist Robert Solow in the 1950?s.

The purpose of our essay is to investigate the role of the practice period under supervision from a skilled practioner as a part of the student?s development of knowledge. This essay?s main participants are students who are studying their sixth semester during the spring 2009 at the bachelor program of social work at the University of Gothenburg and active skilled practioners during the autumn of 2008 and spring 2009. The essay has primarily a qualitative approach.

This study is a survey concerning learning on equal terms. The purpose of the survey is to get a look into how teachers of today integrate students to obtain an individually adapt education. A good education is where every single student can evolve from an individual level and how education is adapted to let high-achieving students keep their motivation and thus develop from their own level of knowledge.Data has been collected through a qualitative method using semi-structured interviews. In the result the answers of the interviews are presented and it shows that teachers turn their focus towards low-achieving students. Low-achieving students are more in need of support to reach the required amount of knowledge, but that the high-achieving students must not be forgotten by the teachers. .

The aim of this qualitative study was to investigate the participants experiences of a parent support group and the effect of their participation on their parental role from a learning perspective. As the parent support group takes place as a group activity, the focus was on the individual learning processes which, in turn, are influenced by both the group itself as well as the leaders of the group. The empirical data was collected from a focus group interview with four mothers, and analyzed using empowerment and coping theories. Based on the participants´ narratives, the result showed that the parent support group had a great social and pedagogic effect on the participants. As a result of the received knowledge in the group from both leaders as well as from other participants, they felt less stressed and more confident in their parental role.

The aim of this two years master´s thesis is to examine discourses about electronic books in relation to libraries that occur in the Swedish library journal Biblioteksbladet by using critical discourse analysis (CDA). The thesis also aims to discuss changes in the discourse practice, and discuss the relationship between discourse practice and social practice in the field of library and information science (LIS). A main point of CDA is that language is a form of social practice that helps shape social reality. Furthermore the concept of ideology, as understood with-in CDA, brings understanding to the way discursive events help reproduce and transform social relations of pow-er. The text samples span from 2005 up to and including 2011 and were examined by using Norman Fairclough´s three-dimensional conception of discourse, which allows for interpretation of text on a linguistic, discursive and social level.The result of the analysis showed that there are several different discourses about electronic books and li-braries, none of which can be said to be particularly representative.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka förskolebarns användande av surfplattan, dels undersöks vilka lärandeprinciper som kan kopplas till detta användande dels vilka applikationer som erbjuds och används av barnen. Studien genomfördes på en förskola tillsammans med en grupp barn och deras förskollärare. För att besvara studiens forskningsfrågor, används videoobservation när barnen arbetar med surfplattan i en förskola, där en förskollärare specifikt hade ett intresse att arbeta med surfplattor. Det empiriska materialet består av sammanlagt två timmars videoobservationer. Videoobservationerna sammanställdes och analyserades utifrån tidigare forskning samt utifrån Gees (2005) lärandeprinciper. Resultatet visar att på denna förskola används surfplattan som ett pedagogiskt verktyg. De applikationer på surfplattan som barnen erbjuds att spela på ska bland annat bidra till barnens språkliga utveckling samtidigt som det även finns en idé från förskolläraren om samarbete och turtagning mellan barnen i spelaktiviteterna.

The production costs have steadily increased within the construction industry during the 21st century. Voices are raised meaning that the construction industry is too unsuccessful in making the production more efficient and to develop it?s way of working. One way to deal with the production costs is to minimise the waste, with waste meaning activities that doesn?t add value to the finished product.

Syftet är att undersöka hur företagen påverkas av de förändringar som konverteringen till IAS 39 medför, avseende värdering till verkligt värde. För att uppnå syftet med uppsatsen använder vi oss utav ett induktivt tillvägagångssätt med deskriptivt syfte och en kvalitativ undersökning. Av alla de redovisningsstandarder som IASB utfärdar antas IAS 39 vara den mest komplexa och omdiskuterade standard för noterade koncernbolag att tillämpa från och med den 1 januari 2005. Att tillämpa IAS 39 kommer att medföra stora förändringar för företagen jämfört med den svenska redovisningsregleringen. Den empiriska undersökningen består av följande två delstudier; dels den offentliga debatten där material insamlats genom såväl litteratur som artiklar, dels intervjuer genomförda med tre icke-finansiella företag, tre finansiella företag samt tre revisionsbyråer.
