As a result of globalization, multinational teams are being more frequently used in today´s businesses. This specific type of team can be described as heterogeneous when it comes to nationality and linguistics. The aim of this study was to explore the concept of multinational teams. This was made using culture as a main concept, and nationality, linguistics, and organizational culture in order to describe it. We intended to say something about how this type of team´s efficiency; when it comes to satisfaction and performance; was affected by national and linguistic heterogeneity within the team.

Introduction: To become acute ill and to be forced to seek treatment involves a difficult but also a vulnerable time for the individual. This acquires a good relationship between the nurse and the patient. At a surgical emergency ward patients with different diagnoses and trauma are treated. What distinguishes this specific type of ward is that care often occurs in a rapid rate and as a patient the environment may be experienced as stressed. The relationship with the nurse at the ward establishes a foundation for how the patient experiences the health care.

Background: A patient undergoing surgery will meet many caregivers in different settings pre-, intra- and postoperative in the surgical pathway. Lack of communication is a common digression and the handoff is such an occasion. The purpose is to describe current knowledge about the patients´ right to safe care perioperative. The study is a systematic review (pilot). Result: The handoff was informal, unstructured and inconsistent.

Vi har i den här uppsatsen valt att undersöka om den familjeterapeutiska metoden reflekterande team går att använda som reflektionsmodell för att efterarbeta en teaterupplevelse i gymnasieskolan. Vi har genomfört en studie på tre olika gymnasieskolor i en skånsk stad. Undersökningstillfällena började med att vi spelade upp Harold Pinters ?I väntan på Wilson? för eleverna för att efter föreställningen genomföra ett reflekterande arbete med en pedagogisk variant av metoden reflekterande team. Gruppen bildade två cirklar av stolar, en inre och en yttre, med lika många deltagare i båda cirklar.

In Sweden surgical treatment of vocal fold lesions in children is fairly uncommon. At Falun hospital they have adapted a more generous attitude towards phonosurgery of children?s vocal folds. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate surgical treatment of organic vocal fold lesions in children and to assess the phonosurgical patient utility. The study was carried out at the Ear-, Nose- and Throat clinic, Falun hospital, Sweden.

Ett sätt att uppnå förståelse för hur nationell kultur påverkar ett företag, är att studera ett team. Ledaren är mycket viktig för teamet och i ett mångkulturellt team kan hans arbete bli komplicerat pga. olika värderingar etc. som finns i olika kulturer.

Att arbeta i team innebär att teammedlemmarna tillsammans, genom nära och intensivt samarbete, kan utveckla idéer och fatta beslut som inte är möjligt individuellt för var och en av dem. Detta ställer krav på att organisationskultur, interna organisationssystem och ledarskap utvecklas och att de stödjer den nya strukturen. Vårt syfte med denna litteraturstudie är att beskriva ledarskapet av självstyrande team med utgångspunkt i litteraturen.

Background: In today's Swedish health care, it is required that the various professionals must work together in teams to safer care. Several professionals with various skills expected working together in the traumateam at the care of the traumapatient. At the same time, research shows that substandard teamwork leads to avoidable errors in care. One way to improve teamwork is to practice. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to shed light on the experiences of the traumateam exercises that exercise participants feel has been favorable for the patient at the initial care of trauma patients.

Introduction. Infection Prevention is one of the surgical nurses' main responsibilities. One of the steps which patients undergo in this purpose before surgery is the preoperative skin desinfektion. Together with Hälsoteknikalliansen the project team recognized the need to improve availability in the staircase environments. This is a difficult environment, especially for our elderly. The staircase leading to and from apartments is such a major obstacle that many people do not dare to go into the staircase leading to their front door. The market study that the project team conducted showed that many were in need of a living support, often a relative, who helped and supported them when they went into these stairs. It also appeared that these people manage everyday life just fine, but they suffer the problems that stairs to and from their apartment causes.

Earlier research has shown that generational differences between younger-supervisors and older-workers may cause tensions that lead to team ineffectiveness. There is however still a lack of research in this area. This thesis presents possible tensions that might occur between a younger supervisor and an older worker due to their age and generational affiliation, and how these tensions affect the team dynamics. The empirical data collection was limited to the boundaries of the dental care industry where these generational/age differences between younger supervisor and older worker are common. The thesis looks at the tensions from a qualitative perspective and data was collected in the form of in-depth interviews with selected dentists and nurses.

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Postoperative wound infection is the third most common nosocomial infection in Sweden. The ever-growing problem of antibiotic resistance provides surgical departments a big challenge when it comes to preventing the spread of infection. Operating theatre nurses have a vital role in the prevention of infection. In addition, correct ventilation in the operating theatre is of great importance. The caregiver is responsible for quality assurance of ventilation in the operating theatre, but the work can be delegated to other staff within the department.

SAMMANFATTNING Problem: Det finns många tankar om organisationer och hur de ska styras. Förr handlade det om att styra företagets olika resurser för att uppnå lönsamhet. I dag krävs det mer av företagen och dess traditionella organisationsformer sätts på prov. För att utvecklas och framförallt kunna konkurrera i den allt mer föränderliga omgivningen krävs det att organisationerna är öppna för nya tankesätt. Det pågår en övergång från traditionella organisationer till processorienterade organisationer.
