Denna studie handlar om stress i skolan. Hur eleverna påverkades, om de påverkades och hur de själva upplevde det. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur elever upplever stress i skolan, samt vilka orsaker som finns till stressen. Vi undersökte även vilka möjligheter skolan hade att förändra stress situationer. Intervjuerna valdes att göras med elever och lärare i år 5 och år 6 på grund av att i dessa åldrar händer mycket ur utvecklingssynpunkt.

The purpose with this essay is to take part of the process when a family is placed on the family-institution, Trollbacken. We want to know what makes the social welfare secretaries place a family in institutional care. Has Trollbacken lived up to the social welfare secretary expectations and are the social welfare secretaries following Trollbackens recommendation regarding the follow up treatment. We also want to know to what value the social welfare secretary assigns Trollbackens investigation and are they able to see changes in the family due to the placing on Trollbacken. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews from six social welfare secretaries that work around and in West Sweden.

The purpose with our essay was to increase our knowledge about what social workers, with experience from working with drug addicts, perceive as the explanations to a person stopping the abuse and succeed in staying drug free. Our framing of the question was:- How do social workers define the term drug free?- How big a roll do the social worker believes she/he has in the process in which a person stops abusing drugs?- How do the social worker work with a person towards getting that person drug free?- What do the social worker believe to be the reason why a person stops abusing drugs?- What do the social worker perceive as helpful for a person to stay drug free?We did qualitative interviews with six social workers. Our main conclusion was that it is difficult to define the term drug free. The reason for stropping the drug abuse can vary, it can be the family situation, "hitting rock bottom", finding love or tiring.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka och belysa hur föräldrar ser på samarbete med skolan i olika situationer och i olika sammanhang. Eftersom mitt syfte är av undersökande karaktär valde jag att genomföra en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning. I studien ingår sex föräldrapar. Mina informanter uttalar inte ordet samarbete någon gång under intervjuerna. De ser inte sina kontakter med skolan som ett samarbete i ordets rätta betydelse.

Syftet med mitt arbete är att ta reda på hur skolan kan medverka till ett hälsosammare liv och stärka friskfaktorerna genom sunda kost- och matvanor, ökad fysisk aktivitet och vardagsmotion hos barn och ungdomar. This paper examines how recruiters use social media during their recruitment process. The paper focuses on the staffing industry and will further examine how recruiters are handling jobseekers personal privacy when they are using social media in a recruitment process. The paper are trying to understand the meaning of what personal integrity means and how or if recruiters show consideration to this in a recruitment process when they are using social media as a recruitment tool. Our result demonstrates that, today recruiters use social media daily to conduct background checks on job applicants. There are no clear instructions and rules on how recruiters should handle background checks through social media. Recruiters believe that job seekers are responsible for the information contained on the their social media.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka huruvida lajv är en undervisningsmetod som är möjlig att i praktiken använda i skolan och om eleverna anser att de lär sig något av det. Frågeställningarna som ställs upp i arbetet är: · Hur mycket tid och planering behövs för att sätta upp ett lajv i skolan? · Har skolan de resurser som krävs för att tillhandahålla lajv som en del av undervisningen? · Är lajv en metod som eleverna uppskattar och själva anser sig lära sig något av? · Hur förhåller sig pedagoger till tanken på lajv som undervisningsmetod? Den teoretiska förankringen bygger till stor del på Fredrik Axelzons ?Rollspel i skolan? från 2007 och Kristina Boreús ?Rollspel i undervisningen? från 1994. För att finna svaret på frågeställningarna så genomfördes ett temaarbete om klimat under två veckor, där ett lajv baserat på FN:s klimatrollspel användes som avslutning. Efter lajvet genomfördes intervjuer med tre elever och klassläraren för att kunna få deras synvinkel. Slutsatsen av undersökningen är att det finns både tid och resurser för att använda lajv som metod i skolan samt att eleverna anser att de lär sig mycket genom arbetet..

Det ingår i lärarens uppdrag att anpassa undervisningen så att skolan blir ?en skola för alla?, där samtliga elevers utveckling främjas. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva lärares uppfattningar om begåvade elevers motivation till skolan och lärande. Rapporten riktar sig mot grundskolans tidigare år. Enligt den studerade litteraturen har begåvade elever behov av att få individuellt anpassad undervisning för att bli stimulerade och motiverade.

Lärarens vardag påverkas av genusrelaterade föreställningar. Skolan och hela utbildningssystemet är upprättad utefter en viss könskod eller genuspraktik, som genomsyrar hela dess verksamhet. Skolan uppmuntrar individualistisk konkurrensorientering och drivs av en maskulin hegemoni. Det manliga dominerar skolan. Undervisningen läggs till upp efter pojkarnas behov.

More than two hundred years later scientists came up with a new definition of happiness and new ways to measure it. And during the last decade economists have taken the discussion to a higher level.So once again we?re dealing with the same old issue, if happiness ought to be the base of social political decisions.

The purpose with our essay was to examine which clients/patients get treatment for alcohol problems from either health care units or social service units. We also wanted to find out how staff in these units considers the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment. The questions we have focused are: How do the clients/patients get in contact with the units? How does staff in these units consider the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment? How is the social background like for the present clients/patients? To fulfil the purpose with our investigation and to get answers to our questions, we performed an explorative examination and applied a qualitative method in the form of a semi-structured interview with six persons. The investigation showed that clients/patients get in contact with the units by looking for treatment by themselves or by relatives and other organisations.

People recieving social assistance is today very common in Swedish society. Of those receiving social assistance single mothers is one ofthe largest groups. The purpose of this study is to examine how single mothers with social assistance experience themselves to be treated by social services, how this treatment affects their confidence in the social services and how they experience it is to live with social assistance. To answer the question, we use qualitative interviews with three clients. Previous research has shown that single mothers receiving social assistance experience vulnerability, and how they perceive it is affected by how they are treated by their social secretaries.

The main purpose of this study was to examine, and illustrate, highschool social workers experiences of pupils with self-injurious behaviour. Self-injurious behaviour in this study refer to individuals who harm them-selves, with physical injury as consequence, without purpose to commit suicide. A qualitativ method was used and five highschool social workers, in the south of Sweden, were interviewed.The main questions were:- What kind of experiences have highschool welfare officers of pupils with self-injurious behaviour?- What view, and personal opinion have the welfare officers at the problem, and how do this affect them in their work with these pupils.The school social workers experiences of pupils with self- injurious behaviour, were for instance that the pupils often feel ashemed over their behaviour and that they often have lowe self-esteem. The social workers seemed to imagine the behaviour as a copingstrategy.It turned out that the social workers personality and their personal opinion regarding self-injurious behaviour, were of great importance in their work with these pupils..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur elever tar sig till skolan, och varför föräldrar skjutsar sina barn till skolan. Inom ramen för syftet undersöks, vilka faktorer som inverkar på barns transportsätt till skolan, hur sambandet mellan familjers vardagssituation och barns transportsätt ser ut, samt om bilskjutsandet kan utgöra ett positivt inslag i familjelivet. Uppsatsens primära datainsamling har skett genom en kvantitativt telefonundersökning riktad till föräldrar på Lidingö. Studien visar bland annat, att barnets ålder och avståndet mellan hemmet och skolan påverkar vilket transportsätt elever tar sig till skolan på. Många föräldrar som skjutsar sina barn till skolan motiverar skjutsandet med, att de ändå ska ta bilen till jobbet.
