Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka vilken syn fem gymnasielärare i svenska har på motivation och vad de gör för att skapa motivation hos sina elever. Detta ställs sedan i relation till ledarskap och kunskapssyn för att se om det finns ett samband mellan dessa och hur läraren motiverar eleven. Inledningsvis ger arbetet en översikt av tidigare forskning av motivation samt motivation i relation till kunskapssyn och ledarskap. Kvalitativa intervjuer användes för att uppnå syftet. Resultatet presenterar hur respondenterna anser att de motiverar sina elever. Samtliga nämner verklighetsförankring, intresse och relationsskapande. Resultatet tyder även på en relation mellan hur respondenten ser på motivation med dess kunskapssyn och ledarskap..

The aim of this study was to, through a qualitative method, investigate students? participation in a specific library blog to find out what motivate them to create and share digital book recommendations through videos. It also intended to describe the students? own views of their participation.We conducted interviews with eight students in the ages 12 and 13, who all had similar experiences regarding the blog creation but diverse attitudes concerning the blog production and intentions to participate.The results showed that the strongest motivating forces behind the students' participation in the blog creation was that they enjoyed the making of the videos and also because they wanted to inspire others to read more and create resembling blogs..

For example, it is no longer possible to manually collect and examine the systems log messages.The purpose of this thesis has been to make a comprehensive study of solutions for automated collecting and managing of log messages, analyze the Swedish Armed Forces specification for solutions for central log collection and management, and evaluating exis- ting solutions. The work consisted primarily of literature studies and evaluations of two of the Swedish Armed Forces of selected products: NetIQ Security Manager and Splunk.

The transformation of the Swedish Armed Forces is bringing about major changes in many areas. Indirect fire is one capability affected by these changes. Financial savings, a shrinking organization and higher eligibility requirements mean that fewer soldiers will gain access to exclusive high-tech support resources such as the JAS 39 Gripen aircraft and the ARCHER artillery system. This thesis aims to examine whether access to indirect fire capability can be increased through the use of civilian products and communication networks. Technology development in the civilian mobile communications area is exponential and nations such as the USA, facing challenges similar to those of the Swedish Armed Forces, devote substantial resources to research and development.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the consultants' approach to the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in temporary work agencies. We examined the motivation of three temporary work agencies to see if there are any differences in how they motivate their consultants. The intrinsic motivation comes from the own spontaneous interest while the extrinsic is related to the surrounding circumstances.We created a survey with 42 questions for the consultants, concerning motivation in order to understand their attitudes to the phenomenon of motivation.The following issues are addressed in our study:- What are consultant?s experiences of motivation in the temporary work agencies and are there any background factors that may impact?- Are there any differences in how consultants in the three different temporary work agencies are experiencing motivation?As analytical tools, we used concepts and theories of the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation based on Self-Determination theory.The results of this study showed no distinct differences between the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of all consultants, but in general the intrinsic motivation was experienced slightly higher rated. The consultants appeared to be aware of what was expected of them and communication was valued fairly well.

This is a study of proficiency development of major/lt colonel officers (level 2-3) within the Swedish armed forces. The study includes officers above the age of 45. The background of this study is a study from January 2000 (written by Björn Osswald). Osswald discovered that proficiency development decreased at the age of 45. Since the profession as an officer today is a lifetime profession, this is a result that the Swedish Armed Forces not can afford.

Metoden som tillämpades var en kvalitativ intervju mednio stycken lärare, som var strukturerad efter tre stycken teman: motivation, lärares roll förelevernas motivation och motivationsarbete. Utifrån frågeställningarna sammanfattas studienmed att motivation är ett svårdefinierat begrepp, som anses stå i relation till andra begrepp såsom vilja, drivkraft, intresse och glädje. Motivation är viktig för elever, eftersom det driver demframåt i deras utveckling och stimulerar deras lärande.

To be able to research the chain of development and its causes within military doctrines you need to describe the change and categorize it to make it understandable.This essays intent is to categorize a phenomenon within the Swedish doctrine to make it available for further research about doctrinal development. The categories are found in two of the great theorists on guerrilla warfare due to the subjects? resemblance to guerrilla tactics and its means.The phenomenon that is to be researched is directly translated as ?the free war? which basically means the use of irregular warfare behind the enemy lines. The description of ?the free war?, by whom and when it is used, are the factors that have changed during the second half of the 20th century, and have therefore been placed into different categories.

Medarbetarnas motivation är avgörande för att uppnå organisationens mål. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka av de två ledarskapsstilarna (transformativa och transnationella) som har mest påverkan på medarbetarnas motivation.  Undersökningsgruppen bestod av 40 personer. Resultaten visade att både transformativa och transaktionella ledarskapsstilarna är nödvändiga på medarbetarnas motivation. Det specifika resultatet visade att den transformativa ledarskapsstilen hade en högre effekt på medarbetarnas motivation.
