In today?s changing environment, creation of Projects by organizations has become more common. The problem is, though, that the knowledge of the subject is still limited which causes many Projects to fail. This has made it extra important to have a good Project manager whocanlead the Project in the right direction. While doing this both the Project method and the Project manager?s motivation are contributing sources.

There are several Project Management Softwares onthe market today. These tools are powerful andextensive to the degree they become too timeconsumingand complex and therefore often defeatits original purpose. This is the case especiallywhen the Project manager is inexperienced and/orthe scope of the Project is moderate.The purpose of this thesis arose from this context,there seems to be a gap between a home-made MSExcel spread sheet and the advanced softwaresavailable. The thesis and the product has beendeveloped in alliance with Faveo ProjectManagement with the shared goal to create a toolwhich is easy to use but still covers the essentialareas of Project management theory. The tool willbe used internally by Faveo-employees as well asexternally together with Faveo?s clients in aneducational purpose.

Stockholm is constantly growing and changing. Despite this, for various reasons, it is difficult to execute large building Projects. With starting-point in decision making theories we have tried to investigate these difficulties. More specifically we have chosen to study why it has not been possible to rebuilt Slussen in Stockholm. To help us structure our study we have based our research on another large comparable building Project, the Globen City Project.

This is a result of a diploma work in construction engineering. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the nature of the productivity in a given Project and how the Skanska productivity tools were used in this Project.Interviews were held among workers and management to get some answers on what affected the work and its productivity. The result of the thesis showed that the productivity tools as propulsion analysis and ?goal cards?, were not used to a wide extent in this Project. Furthermore there was almost no feedback for the one who made the calculation and the offer for the Project, which might affect the results on Projects negatively in the future.Within the Project there was a lot of waiting time which affected the productivity.

Our starting point has been to examine how a Project manager without knowledge of the industry is able to plan a Project. And also which difficulties that may arise. A qualitative study was conducted at Project managers who worked in the construction industry and events industry. Seven interviews were conducted, four in the construction sector and three in the events industry. Respondents are active as Project manager in Värmland and Närkes counties.

Background: The Project controller is a function witch evolved due to the strong gaining ground of Project operation. Why the area of the Project controller is interesting to study is explained by the fact that increasing knowledge of this function is important in order to make Project operation work well. The fact that opinions in this field disagree, further increases the interest of the field. In order to study the function of the Project controller three companies have been singled out. They are IFS, Intentia and Saab Bofors Dynamics.

There is a settled stereotype for women and men which give them different possibilities in our society. The schools, which are one of the most important sources of knowledge, have a great possibility to influence. This is the reason why we are interested in how the schools are working with a Project, which we will call X henceforth. What was the purpose with the Project and what does it contain? What is missing in the former education, since the Project was started? Are there any obstacles or prerequisite in the design of the Project or in the school teaching on the basis of X? We have done interviews in the gathering of empirical material to find out all the answers to our questions.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine the similarities and differences between best practice literature regarding digitization and an existing cultural heritage digitization Project. It also aims to determine whether this literature is of any help during an actual Project of digitization. These results were achieved by examining literature regarding best practices in digitization and analyzing how well an actual Project correlates to this advice. The information about the Digidaily Project was obtained through two qualitative interviews as well as the Project blog. The outcome of our research showed that although there are a great many similarities between theory and practice, the Project in question was not helped by literature.

The paper is a research of"The Library Project", a three-year collaboration Project betweenArbetarnas Bildningsforbund, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, Sveriges Författarförbund and public libraries at 14 places in Sweden.The goal of the Project is to find new forms for collaboration between libraries, authors and organisations for adult eduacation under the motto "two branches of the same education tree".The purpose of this research is to make a close description of the Project and also look at the goals anf purposes of the different actors in the Project. In todays society the demand on companies to deliver better Project management is crucial for them to survive. The higher demands from clients make older Project management weak and unreliable. In the constructions sector more and more companies are created and the competition is higher than ever. The clients are aware of the higher competition in the construction sector. This has resulted that construction companies must now make their Project management more efficient to create better Projects and better relationship with clients. The purpose of this thesis arose from this problem in the construction sector.

This report is the result of an evaluation of a Project, conducted by five regional libraries. Through a training course the Project should inspire small and medium sized enterprises to use modern information technology and Internet when searching for information. To evaluate the Project, qualitative interviews were conducted with five librarians and quantitative questionnaires were distributed to all the course participants. The evaluation shows that the Project goals were met, apart from the number of course participants, which was much lower than anticipated. It also shows that the Project resulted in an increase in information technology and competence at the libraries, and that the course participants profit from their increased knowledge in their daily work..

This thesis is an attempt to study if the school cinema Project in Kungsbacka is an establishedactivity. Qualitative interviews have been performed with the cinema owner, the Projectleader and a politician of the municipality, about their views on the Project. Teachers andpupils have also been interviewed. In the case of an established activity, the thesis also attemptsto answer what causes have contributed to such an establishment.The study shows that the school cinema Project is an established activity in Kungsbacka andthat all parties involved are satisfied with it.
