Due to the decrease in obtaining driver?s licenses among young people, the main purpose of this study was to acquire a deeper understanding of young people?s attitudes towards driver?s license and towards driver?s education. This is a qualitative study with a theoretical approach, which combines Bourdieu with post modern theories. By using focus groups a wide rage of attitudes among young people have been gathered. Having a driver?s license is still considered a standard among young people even though their attitude mostly depends on their need for one.

In today?s changing environment, creation of projects by organizations has become more common. The problem is, though, that the knowledge of the subject is still limited which causes many projects to fail. This has made it extra important to have a good project manager whocanlead the project in the right direction. While doing this both the project method and the project manager?s motivation are contributing sources.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är av beskrivande samt analyserande karaktär och ämnar undersöka Högskolan i Halmstads nuvarande krisorganisation och kriskommunikation. Målet är att sedan identifiera om, och i så fall hur, den befintliga kriskommunikationen kan effektiviseras.Metod: Insamling av dokument, semistrukturerade intervjuer och e-post enkäter.Resultat: Studien visar att krisorganisationen kan vara strukturerad på olika sätt beroende på vilken omfattning en kris bedöms ha. Det finns formellt inga fullständiga strategier för kriskommunikation, även om det informellt går att se tydliga mönster i hur sådan kommunikation sköts. Denna präglas av organisationens hierarkiska struktur och går i praktiken till och från närmsta chef. Every organization goes through the same lifecycle. Through every step in the transformation to a better organization the communication structure changes. In this report there are examples of the communicational disadvantages that is connected to the communicational structure.By choosing to not have a formal communicational design, the manager takes a risk in spreading the information, the interaction, the control and the balance in creativity and constraint.This case organizations problem is that some parts of the organization has made more progress in the communicational structure than other parts. In this case the Collectivity structure has met the Formalized structure.Tha structural differences has came to affect the way of sharing information and it has become a situation where the information about the products is not stored in a safe way from a quality point of view. There is a gap between the two different ways of communicate.In this report I have created a model to identify problems in the communication structure.

I denna designstudie överges dagens syn på e-postmedierad kommunikation som en linjär process. Bilden som linjära modeller ger av verkligheten är alldeles för generaliserad. Kommunikationsmodeller idag bortser från eller lägger minimal vikt på aspekter som är av betydande roll för hela kommunikationsprocessen. Syftet med denna designstudie är att utforma och evaluera en kommunikationsmodell som ska ligga till grund för analysering av e-postkommunikation. Modellen bygger på existerande teorier från kommunikationsvetenskapen och har modifierats med fenomen och aspekter som gör att den på ett realistiskt sätt speglar en verklig kommunikationsprocess.

The purpose of this thesisis to examine the female body ideal of the Swedish fitness blogs and how it is reproduced. To answer the research question five of the most read female fitness blogs were chosen for a critical discourse analysis. The results show that pictures is an important communication event. The ideal is reproduced by representing bodies with desirable attributes in environments and poses that communicates positive feelings. There is a dialectic relation between picture and text in each published post.

Det polisen gör är att använda en mängd olika program som producerar loggar med webbhistorik, e-post och meddelanden från en mängd program som används vid chatt. Det den här rapporten kommer fokusera på är framtagningen av en applikation som kan ta in alla dessa typer av loggar och rensa bort onödig information. Den återstående informationen struktureras om för att kunna generera en rapport med enhetligt utseende.

The recent globalization has to some extent reduced the importance of specific cultures and instead creates a focus on the variation these different cultures provide. Under these circumstances the leader must adapt his leadership to face these new circumstances. The organisations today have to face these new leadership challenges which the global expansion brings. This is a prerequisite for organizations if they want to succeed and be more competitive in a more demanding environment.There are still big differences between the business cultures. There are also differences in the companies? home arena, between groups in the society and all the way down on a family level.

The aim of this study was to examine the view that officials involved in youth unemployment have on the significance of collaboration between organizations working with unemployed youth. The study was based on nine qualitative interviews with officials from PES offices and from municipalities such as job coaches. The results were analyzed based on qualitative content analysis. The analysis led to two different themes: conditions and the individual. In the analysis two different theories were used, new institutionalism and Lipsky's theory about street-level bureaucrats.

The purpose with this essay is to investigate Swedish political parties who have had or has a restrictive immigration policy containing opinions, that can be classified as xenophobic, and their history and development as a party. The focus in this essay is centred on the politicization that the parties Ny demokrati and Sverigedemokraterna have gone through and the mobilization they have reached. The material that will be handled in this matter are mainly the parties? political programs that have been published in various forms, but these will be supplemented with secondary sources in the form of previous research, reviews by journalists and other literature. The result have shown that the development from 1970 ? 1980´s to today considering these type of organizations is that they have changed in their appearance, in the matter of how they convey their message, and the actual appearance of the party members more than the message itself.

The thesis objective was to study the partnership between the municipality of Gothenburg and three nonprofit organizations concerning the mobile EU-citizens. The study examines how the EU-enlargement affected Sweden and eventually the municipality of Gothenburg, and how Gothenburg responded to the new situation regarding the target group. The thesis contains one case study and the empirical data are based on semi structured interviews with politicians and officials from both the public- and the nonprofit sector. The results were screened with New Institutional Theory, Resource Dependence Theory and Decision Making Theory: Rule Following. The theories were used to locate any type of isomorphism, resource dependence and rule following in the partnership.

Följande studie är kvalitativ och hermeneutisk och syftar till att, ur ett postkolonialt perspektiv, undersöka hur kvinnor inom islam porträtteras i religionskunskapsböcker för gymnasiet. De läroböcker som utgör studiens material är alla skrivna under 2000-talet. Uppsatsens bakgrund ger en historisk överblick över mötet mellan västvärlden och islam. Begrepp som postkolonialism, orientalism och feministisk postkolonial diskurs behandlas i uppsatsens teoretiska bakgrund. Studiens resultat har visat att postkoloniala föreställningar i allra högsta grad är levande i läroböckerna muslimska kvinnoporträtt.

Speedledger is a company that is working to automate electronic accounting for businesses, organizations and associations.In the current situation bank data is sent from the users internet bank to Speedledger via a virtual printer driver. The driver transforms the web page into a PDF and sends it to a server for interpretation.The problem is that PDF is not created for this sort of data transfer and makes the interpretation of data is very problematic.The goal of the thesis is to study whether there is a possibility to develop a browser add-on that can retrieve information on the customer's banking page and send it on to Speedledgers server for interpretation. My task was to implement a add-on for one of the three major browsers Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then study the possibility of implementing it to the other two by reading the documentation.What I concluded was that it is possible to implement for all the three browsers. However, the techniques will differ slightly when developing these add-ons.  .

Due to the political system in Vietnam, all organizations in Vietnam need a permit to operate in the country and consequently, have to balance their mission, their main purpose of being in the country, with the fact that they are dependant on the government to give them the permit they need to stay in the country.With this as our basis, the main focus of this essay has been to identify different types of relations that exist between the Vietnamese state and International Non Governmental Organisations (INGOs) in Vietnam. Since we have interviewed people representing INGOs, our result is based on their experience of this relationship. By using Najam's Four-C's Model, we established that the more traditional INGOs which principally provide services, predominantly have a cooperative relationship with the state, whereas radical INGOs which are committed to policy change, mostly have a relationship which is characterised by conflict..

Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify how Swedish clothing companies strategically communicate CSR ? the issue being that CSR communication is frequently scrutinized and criticized. This is examined using semi-structured interviews with six company representatives. The result is presented thematically, dealing with (1) conditions for CSR and CSR communication, (2) how to manage the issue with criticism and (3) which communication strategies companies use. Following conclusions are drawn: the companies can be divided into Mirvis and Googins phases integrated or engaged/innovative, with conditions characterizing these phases.
