Internkommunikation berör alla individer inom en organisation och utgör enstor och viktig del i arbetslivet. Ett grundläggande behov hos människan äratt ordna verkligheten, att abstrahera mening ur tillvaron och på så sättmotverka kaos. Då graden av individuella resurser, såsom känsla avsammanhang (KASAM), bidrar till hur individen tolkar och uppleverarbetsmiljömässiga faktorer så är studiens syfte att undersöka sambandmellan kommunikations- och arbetstillfredsställelse i relation till KASAM.Deltagarna var 141 medarbetare inom tillverkningsindustrin från femprivata företag i Mellansverige. Majoriteten var män, medelåldern 43.5 åroch anställningstiden varierade mellan 1 och 46 år. För att undersökastudiens hypoteser utfördes sambands- och regressionsanalyser.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att underso?ka hur den nationella kulturen pa?verkar marknadsfo?ringens utformning. Vi har anva?nt oss av tre kulturella dimensioner ? horisontell individualism, vertikal individualism samt vertikal kollektivism ? fo?r att se om det finns spa?r av de attribut som representerar de kulturella dimensionerna i marknadsfo?ringen. Underso?kningen har baserats pa? en inneha?llsanalys av bankers reklamfilmer, som ha?mtats fra?n ett land av respektive kulturell dimension.

The purpose of this study was to increase the level of knowledge in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for wind power. The study includes six wind power farms in the County of Västerbotten in northern Sweden. The main questions were: What are the real dimensions of roadways and land claims for both roads and wind power turbines? How do those dimensions correlate with the dimensions stated in the EIA? Are there any differences in values of the dimensions between the wind power farms that are included in this study? The width of the roadways and the land claims for both roads and wind turbines in wind power farms were examined on site. The results from the examinations were compared with the dimensions available in the EIA for each wind power farm.

Sammanfattning Bakgrund: Barn i förskolan vistas en stor del av sin dag på förskolegården, därför bör denna ges betydelse och innehåll. Barn behöver lära sig i naturliga och flexibla miljöer för att det skall bli ett meningsfullt lärande. Utemiljön bör vara ett komplement till innemiljön. Syfte: Syftet är att ta reda på hur pedagoger resonerar om förskolans utemiljö, förskolegården, hur de använder den och vilken betydelse de anser den har för barns lärande och utveckling. Metod: En kvalitativ forskningsmetod har använts, där sju verk- samma pedagoger i förskolan har intervjuats.

With the advance of the modern information society, the importance of reliable identity authentication has increased dramatically. Using biometrics as a means for verifying the identity of a person increases both the security and the convenience of the systems. By using yourself to verify your identity such risks as lost keys and misplaced passwords are removed and by virtue of this, convenience is also increased. The most mature and well-developed biometric technique is fingerprint recognition. Fingerprints are unique for each individual and they do not change over time, which is very desirable in this application.

This study deals with the phenomenon of European integration and its impact on national party programs in Poland, a current member state of the European Union. The author will argue that the question of European integration has left a mark on the political party programs of two mainstream domestic parties on opposite sides of the ideological dimension, in the form of a certain degree of convergence regarding the ?European issue?. Relating the result of the analysis to the theoretical structure of Europeanization and sociological institutional change, the essay will attempt to show a possible link between them. Although this trend does not seem to indicate any dramatic effects of the membership per se in the programs (the national arena seems, in most cases, be of more value for party activities) there is an indirect effect in the form of the presence of Europarties and a pronounced incentive for social and economic adaptation..

The aim of this study was to investigate the importance of nature for the health and well-being of young adults. A qualitative method was used and data was collected through semi-structured interviews with eleven people from the ages of 15-20. The interviews were transcribed with the results of the study revealing that nearly everyone felt calm and relaxed while they were in a natural environment. The most common motivation to be outdoors was socializing with friends, performing any kind of sport and/or taking walks. Reasons to stay indoors were rainy, cold weather, lack of time, and in some cases circumstances related to their surroundings, such as where they live.

Denna studie visar en tolkning av begreppet hållbar utveckling samtidigt som den konkretiseras i den specifika fartygsverksamheten. Detta examensarbete skall fungera som underlag till en utbildning som har som syfte att få befälsnivån att arbeta mot en mer hållbar utveckling. I samband med utbildningen är det viktigt att komma ihåg att målet är att öka medvetenheten hos befälsnivån så att risken minimeras för att de fattar dåliga beslut.Målet är även att befälsnivån skall känna att de har bättre verktyg än före utbildningen för att arbeta mot en mer hållbar utveckling. Det är viktigt att befälsnivån får med sig förståelsen för hur de tre dimensionerna ekologi, ekonomi och sociala aspekter hänger samman. Befälsnivån skall ha förståelse för att hållbar utveckling är uppnådd när förbättringar i en dimension också leder till förbättringar i en annan dimension (SOU 2004:104).

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether social counselling via chat conversations could meet the criteria for a professional conversation, and how the six social workers who were interviewed felt that it had affected the profession and the clients who are seeking their help.Communication, professionality, power, roles and regions are the key topics of this study. A hermeneutic approach has not only influenced the interviews but also the content analysis that was used to encode the results.The interviews revealed that the chat conversations was a successful tool but not entirely without difficulties. The initial contact making between the client and the social worker favours the client, since she/he remains anonymous and that was the main advantage of the method. The biggest concern however was that in the anonymity it is not possible to report cases that the social worker are obligated to. The changing of forum does not necessarily affect the professionality but due to the faceless chat conversation an entire dimension of communication disappears because the loss of body language.

Since the introduction of the European citizenship in the Maastricht treaty, social rights havetaken a back seat to the economic and political elements. Nevertheless, over the past yearssocial issues have been increasingly included on the agenda following the universalrecognition of challenges resulting from further economic integration and demographicchange. The extensive research on European social policy so far tend to focus on initiativesput forward by the European Commission, and offers little to explain the multitude of lines ofreasoning on how far EU social policy should be taken or why it still remains one of the leastdeveloped policy areas. By examining plenary debates in the European Parliament concerningfamily policy, this Bachelor thesis aims to describe the complex of problems connected to afurther development of the social dimension of the European citizenship.The analysis finds that the most imminent problems impeding an expansion of the EU familypolicy lie not only in the many clashes of opinions between advocates of the various existingwelfare models, but also in the conflicts of interests and the different levels of ambitionbetween EU institutions - most notably the Commission and the European Parliament..

The main purpose of this Master thesis is to illuminate the understanding of local politicians regarding the public libraries and the librarians. We argue that the local politicians´ opinions regarding public libraries and librarians influence the way they act and react in their roles as politicians.In order to achieve the aim of this thesis we focused on following questions:What are the opinions of the politicians:- regarding themselves in relation to the public library?- concerning public libraries in general and its functions especially in the municipalities of their own?- concerning the librarians and their work in a public function?What are the conclusions to be drawn regarding the politicians´ interest and commitment to public libraries in the politic daily-life of the municipalities? Our empiric material consists of qualitative interviews with six politicians elected in two municipalities in the interior of Västerbotten, a northern sparsely populated district. In order to distinguish the various opinions that emerge from the material, we apply a phenomenographic approach. The analysis result we present in three conceivable categories in order to express the different opinions.In general our study points at a positive and favourable attitude to the public library, and all the respondents assume that the municipality ought to offer this service.

Vid framställningen av papper för tryckindustrin som använder rullat papper används olika typer av kartonghylsor. Hylsans uppgift är att bära papperet från pappersbruket till kunden. Vidare är det hylsan som ligger till grund för att papperet skall vara körbart och rullbart i tryckpressen. På bruken och tryckerierna utsätts hylsorna för stora påfrestningar vilket gör att hylskvaliteten är av största vikt. I detta examensarbete har ett antal hylskvaliteter avsedda för pappersindustrin utretts.

The goal of the society to increase the proportion of renewable energy has led to an increased demand of bioenergy e.g. forest biomass. However, there are concerns that removal of biomass will lead to decreased base cation concentrations in the soils and acidification of streams. In order to find in which types of landscape removal of branches and tops could have such negative effects, this study aims to analyse the relations between pH-sensitivity and landscape variables in the Bothnia Bay water district. GIS and digital geographical data were used to analyse the landscape in subcatchments.

Because of this, prevention should start in youth. The aim of this study was to investigate the experience that youths have of physical education and it?s influence in their spare-time activities.

This essay discusses the development of swords in the southern region of Sweden, Skåne. It attempts to locate the areas in Europe where the swords were first made and, in doing so, trace the communication routes by which people traveled. The essay deals with aperiod of a few hundred years, from the late eighth century to sometime around 1300. In that sense, it is therefore also a time study tracing the cultural changes and developments in Skåne during the era of Christianization. Does the development of swords follow the overall changes in society, from an isolated pagan district to a Catholic European community, or not? In answering this question, eight swords were selected and put under closer observation.
