AimThe purpose of this study has been to examine attitudes towards dance in a broad sense, among Swedish schoolchildren. The study has been done with three different questions in mind: What do pupils think and express about dance? Are there any differences in attitude towards dance between girls and boys? And how do the pupils relate to gender conceptions in connection to dance illustrations?MethodEight pupils 12 ? 14 years of age have been interviewed separately during physical education lessons. During parts of the interviews dance illustrations were used in order to encourage the pupils in their discussions, especially when asked to relate to dance and gender conceptions. The statements have been interpreted from a gender theoretical perspective.ResultsMy interview study shows that male pupils to a larger extent than female pupils inhabit hostile feelings towards dance as part of physical education lessons.

The aim of the study was to describe how hygienist`s receiving their certificate during 2003 and 2004, perceive their working situation, salary and impression of their first employment as a registered dental hygienist. A questionnaire was sent out to new dental hygienist`s examined year 2003 and 2004 in Sweden. Most of the new examined dental hygienist`s found the education adequate or more than adequate. A few individuals found it inadequate. The ones finding the education inadequate wanted more clinical practice and more training in administrative work.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att få en bild av och kunskaper om hur verksamma lärare för grundskolans tidigare år motiverar sina elever till att lära sig matematik och vad begreppet motivation innebär för dem. I studien undersöks också hur de verksamma lärarna upplever motivationens påverkan på elevernas inlärning i matematikundervisningen.I bakgrunden behandlas begreppet motivation och vad motivation innebär. Hur det definieras av olika personer och hur man skiljer på inre och yttre motivation. Där berörs även det humanistiska, kognitiva och behavioristiska perspektivet på motivation samt innebörden av prestationsmotivation. I arbetet behandlas också motivationens betydelse för matematiken, motivationens betydelse för elevens inlärning samt lärarens betydelse för elevens motivation.

Vi har i detta utvecklingsarbete studerat eventuella förändringar i motivationen för skolarbetet i en klass vid en folkhögskola. Tanken var att den inre motivationen för studierna skulle kunna ökas genom att lyfta upp frågor som berör kunskapens mening och nytta. Vi använde oss av skriftliga reflektionsövningar i klassen för att eleverna skulle få möjlighet att uttrycka sina tankar och synpunkter kring dessa frågor. De individuella reflektionerna diskuterades sedan i helklass. För att undersöka eventuella förändringar i motivation och engagemang för skolarbetet använde vi oss av attitydundersökningar, observationer i klassrummet samt genomförde en utvärdering i form av enskilda intervjuer med eleverna.

Inre motivation är per definition en drivkraft i beteendet drivet av intresse och tillfredställelse för arbetet i sig, utan närvaron av yttre belöningar. Då monetära belöningar är väldigt utbrett och kostar företag stora summor är det av intresse att även studera hur motivation påverkas av hur arbetet i sig ser ut.Syftet med denna studie är att med ett kvantitativt förhållningssätt beskriva och analysera vilka dimensioner i arbetet och dess miljö som predicerar inre motivation.De prediktorer som utifrån tidigare teori valts ut är tron på sin egen kompetens, tillhörighet, autonomi, feedback, personlig utveckling och arbetets meningsfullhet. För att besvara syftet har en enkät delats ut till 211 anställda inom organisationen Skandia Advise.Statistiska analyser av resultatet visar att inre motivation till 25 % prediceras av de sex dimensionerna tillsammans. Enbart tron på sin egen kompetens och personlig utveckling är säkerställda som enskilda prediktorer för inre motivation inom Skandia Advise vilket bör tas under beaktning i ett nytt belöningssystem..

This study examines implementation from national law in to local practice in the district of Kalmar to assure newly arrived immigrants orientation in civics. The study takes its starting point in Lipskys theory about street-level bureaucracy.  Questions that are discussed are about how  the education is understood by refugee?s coordinators, civic communicators and the new immigrates, how the organization has been and what role the demography and economic structures has played for the organization. It is a case study where interviews and enquete has been used.

A qualitative study of high school student teachers' ideas about libraries and school libraries.Interviews have been conducted with future teachers about the library's role in their education,their views on library functions in high school and whether they as teachers will use theschool library. The results show that the students have had some instruction concerninghow to use the library as students, but very little as regards their future teaching. The professorsof teacher education focus on the fact that the library should be used in high schoolteaching, not how to use it. Despite this, the student teachers look very positively upon libraries.Libraries play an important part in their education and they are all sure that they asteachers will use the school library, which includes interacting with the librarian. To them, themost important school library function is to allow pupils to seek information..

Previous research has shown that internal communication can be linked with how motivated a project team is, but research that shows examples of how this works is missing. This paper therefore aims to study how two different IT projects are working with internal communication. By analyzing its strengths and weaknesses, we wanted to study how these could be linked to the project team's motivation. In doing so, we wanted to be able to give examples of how projects could work with internal communication to motivate their project teams. Essay questions of the study are:? How does the internal communication occur in the projects?? Which strengths and weaknesses are to be found in the internal communication?? How does the internal communication influence the project members' motivation? To fulfill the purpose of the study it was needed informants interviews with the project manager for each project to access the facts, and respondent interviews with the project members from each project for accessing opinions.The results from the interviews show that both projects have effective communication, even if it looked different, and doesn't quite agree with what previous research recommends.

Vid rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada kan man se dålig följsamhet av rehabiliteringsträningen och en av de främsta orsakerna som påverkar hur rehabiliteringen efterföljs och utgången av den är idrottarens motivation. Här kan man se hur det framförallt är en autonom motivation som resulterar i att rehabiliteringsträningen utförs. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka upplevda motivationsfaktorer hos damfotbollsspelare i samband med rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada och i vilken utsträckning som dessa motivationsfaktorer sågs som autonoma. Metod: Kvalitativa intervjuer utifrån en semi-strukturerad intervjuguide med damfotbollsspelare som genomgår en rehabilitering efter en idrottsskada analyserade med innehållsanalys och utifrån självbestämmande teorin. Resultat: Motivationsfaktorerna som upplevdes var motiven till varför de utförde rehabiliteringsträningen, sina målsättningar, ett socialt stöd samt av en extern och intern press.

It is based around a questionnaire aimed towards store managers and consequently used it to run regression analysis using the software package SPSS.Main results: The main result of the essay is that the motivation among store managers is positively related to the degree to which they absorb information. Thus, a possible problem exists for the corporation in that they need to make sure that the store managers are and stays motivated. Further, it seems that the longer a store manager has been employed by the corporation the less information is absorbed.  During our education time, we have heard on several occasions how the high changing rate in the society also influences the education area. That changing process mainly originates from the transform that a school underwent, i.e. the decentralization meaning a delegation of responsibility from a national to local government and the particular school. The main idea that started a changing process goes under the slogan ?a school for everyone?.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze four educators? views and experiences of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in relation to the concept of "One school for all". Research has shown that a segregating perspective is dominant in the school system, but the education act says that all children have a right to an equal education.My starting point for this study has been the concept of term "One school for all" and the problems that can occur in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. A school for all is a school where all children are welcome and where all children sees as equals regardless of what background or disability they have. This study will be important for newly graduated teachers who are not aware of Autism Spectrum disorders.

Allt fler företag inser hur viktiga medarbetarna är för att företaget ska nå framgång. Motivation och engagemang hos medarbetarna är viktiga egenskaper för en ökad effektivitet och målöverensstämmelse. Det är ledningens uppgift att skapa förutsättningar för detta och till deras hjälp finns ett flertal styrverktyg. I denna uppsats har vi fördjupat förståelsen för hur LKAB använder Balanserat styrkort och belöningssystem samt vilken påverkan detta kan ha på medarbetarnas motivation. I studien har vi kommit fram till att det speciellt i belöningssystemet kan vara svårt för medarbetarna att se orsak-verkan samband mellan prestation och belöning.
