För ett par år sedan tog utvecklingen och fokuseringen kring Internet fart på allvar ute bland företag. Alla skulle ha en webbsida och anledningen till detta var ofta att konkurrenten hade en eller att man bara ville synas. Idag finns det ett antal så kallade Content Management system utvecklade för att hantera information på Internet, intranet och extranet. Det gemensamma för dessa system är att användarna skall kunna uppdatera, vidareutveckla och administrera lösningen utan någon teknisk kompetens. Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka om ett Content Management system effektiviserar uppdateringen av information, med hjälp av kategorier inom användbarhet. Användbarhet består av flera olika kategorier, dock har vi valt att begränsa oss till tre av dessa; effektivitet, syfte och tillfredsställelse. För att få djupare kunskaper inom ämnet användbarhet har vi läst böcker och artiklar, vi har även sökt information via Internet. Vi hittade information om användbarhetstest där vi fann en metod som hette utredning.

As organizations are generating more business intelligence in their systems, more employees need access those systems. As a result some sort of permission management needs to be implemented to ensure the information remain safe. Access Control Matrix (ACM) is one way of managing permissions and is widely used among organizations. The issues that comes with ACM is that the matrix itself gets difficult to manage and overview as its complexity increases with the number of permissions. The study utilizes Action Design Research to develop a tool for visualizing permissions.

Idag använder Region Gotland Balanserade styrkort i sin styrning och hur påverkar denna typ av styrning privata aktörer? Denna uppsats fokuserar på vilken effekt Socialnämndens styrning har på upphandling, kommunikation och uppföljning.Problemformuleringen i denna uppsats lyder: På vilket sätt styr Socialnämnden privata och offentliga aktörer inom särskilt boend epå Gotland.Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hurvida Region Gotlands styrmodell påverkar upphandling, kommunikation och uppföljning mellan Region Gotland och aktörer inom särskilt boende på Gotland.Intervjuer har gjorts med personer i nyckelpositioner inom Region Gotland. Fördjupade intervjuer har gjorts med verksamhetschefer på två olika boenden. Ett boende i privat regi och ett boende i offentlig regi.

This thesis examines the approach for implementing strategy that has been applied by the study object, Svenska Spel. The specific approach originates from the theories of Elliot Jaques, whose key proposal is that individuals have different capability of carrying out tasks over different time-spans. The main purpose of the study is to analyze how the approach has influenced the management control systems in use, in order to ensure that the strategy is successfully implemented on corporate as well as operational level. Twenty in debt interviews conducted with employees, representing a vertical cross section throughout the organization, are the main source of the study?s empirical foundation.

The purpose of this study was to identify the positive and negative aspects of the work and dynamics of a management team and from that recommend how the team can improve. The aim was also to investigate whether there was a gap between how the members of the management team comprehend themselves and how the project, section and team managers comprehend the management team. The management team contains of seven core team members and is the head function of a research and development site in central Sweden. The results are based on interviews with the present members of the management team and three former members, a survey among the project, section and team managers and by participating observation on meetings with the team. The results show that the management team is an overall well-functioning team that with some changes and improvements, especially concerning communication and information, can reach even further.

The first of May 2007, a decision from the Swedish Board of Fisheries about a Swedish prohibition of eel fishery got legal force. This prohibition is one of the most challenged decisions that the Swedish Board of Fisheries has taken. In the town Karlskrona in the southeastern part of Sweden the prohibition has got a lot of attention in local media. Early in the debate, it was clear that the actors active in the archipelago of Karlskrona were against the prohibition. The aim with the master thesis is to investigate different actors' opinions and view of the prohibition of eel fishery, today's management of the resource and how the actors' think that the communication between the actors involved in the management of eel and eel fishery works and what need to be changed to be able to develop a sustainable management of the eel in the future.

The Thesis purpose is in the context of system development validate the Scrum Methodology. Projects concerning information technology are difficult to manage and tend to fail in quality, time or costs. Scrum presents a new view of the system development. Better cooperation between customers and developers, continuous follow-up on daily basis and extensive communication in the development team are all characteristics of Scrum. Scrum is described as a new paradigm by its founders but has been criticized by experts of system development too.

This examination report is a part of a program for Industrial organisation and Economics with specialization in Logistics and Management at Jönköping University. The report contains an analysis of the internal material handling at Kongsberg Automotive, and also an improvement proposal for a new material handling system.The aim with the report is to find a better material handling system and also make an analyse of the existing system. The goal is to shorten the distance for the operators when they order material, and also to increase the productivity.The investigation methods for the report have for the most part consisted of observations and interviews of key-persons who daily work in the production. During some time the actual material handling-system has been observed and some shortcomings have been discovered, and these are also discussed in the report.The shortcomings that have been discovered are for once the indistinct signal that should signal need of material in the production. Some other activities have also been discovered that does not bring any value into the final products.

Background: Different forms of reward systems have been more common in Sweden and are used in purpose to motivate employees to work in accordance with a company?s goals. By creating work motivation among the employees, a more congruent situation can appear between them and the managers, and the company can perform better results. Purpose: The purpose with this thesis is to study and analyse a reward system from the employees perspective, regarding it?s affect on work motivation.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse and understand resolution, repeatability and reproducibility of the measurement system for package distance. The measurement system for package distance is already in use, no Gage R&R has been performed on the system and before spreading use of the system the quality of the system has to be understood and approved.

More than 90 % of all business activity in the world market consists of small and midsized companies today. Recent studies have shown that there has been an increase in small companies? certification to ISO's management standards. Smaller organizations tend to have more limited amounts of resources at their disposal than larger ones. This can result in difficulties during the implementation process of ISO 9001.

Intranets can streamline workflow processes, improve communication and add value to the employees of an organization. Companies that don?t take advantage of the potential in their intranet is a common phenomenon. In connection with a migration project dealing with a switch of content Management system it turned out that SAS Technical Services lacked clear objectives and strategies for the use of their intranet. Thereby they didn?t make the most of the possibilities an intranet brings.The work with this thesis began with collecting the experiences the company could take with them from the migration project.
