LKAB Malmbergets sovringsverk styrs idag efter fixa maskininställningar. Inställningarna har anpassats så att även inkommande malm bestående av mycket gråberg har en tillfredsställande järnhalt när godset transporteras vidare till följande produktionssteg i anrikningsverket. Detta medför att det kan finnas en dold kapacitet i sovringsverket eftersom samma inställningar används oavsett järnhalt i inkommande råmalm. Avsaknaden av en flexibel styrning av sovringsverket beror till stor del på svårigheten att bedöma vilken järnhalt den inkommande malmen har. Då flöden in till sovringsverket består av mycket grovt gods och höga tonnage är kontinuerliga provtagningar för analys av järnhalt idag inte genomförbara.

Det bästa alternativet för Kiruna, som hotas av markdeformationer från LKAB:s malmbrytning, är att genomgå en stadsomvandling där Kiruna centrum omlokaliseras mot en östlig riktning, till stadsdelen/förorten Tuolluvaara.Finns stor risk att markdeformationerna kan sprida sig dit inom en tidsrymd på 50-60 år när malmbrytningen fortskrider, men under denna tid kan man ha ett väl fungerande samhälle och det går att undvika markdeformationer genom att skifta brytningsmetod i gruvan..

LKAB är en av världens ledande producenter av högförädlade järnmalmsprodukter och en växande leverantör av industrimineraler. För närvarande bryter LKAB malm i Kiruna och Malmberget. Gruvan i Kiruna kallas Kiirunavaara och är världens största järnmalmsgruva under jord. Den består av en sträcka som ungefär motsvarar avståndet mellan Göteborg och Stockholm. I gruvan finns allt ifrån matsalar, kontor, personalutrymme till verkstäder, krossar, styrcentraler samt transporthissar.

Westhelicopter INC. has an aviation workshop providing qualified helicopter maintenance in accordance with PART-145. Maintenance and administrative base is situated in Luleå at Kallax airport. The types that Westhelicopter INC are currently authorised to service are: Eurocopter AS 350 Base/Line Maintenance, Eurocopter EC 120 Base/Line Maintenance and Robinsson R44 Base/Line Maintenance. The thesis work has been to make new maintenance programme for Westhelicopter INC. This maintenance programme will be used to follow-up the time of the components, service bulletins and ADs.

The thesis explores an ongoing dialectical process between different levels of employees including top management to workers of Scandinavian Airline Service (SAS) regarding a new change program and to find out the possible social construction among them. In particular, it searches for the constructed reality of SAS ground service employees at Malmö Airport with regard to the preparatory stage of SAS Strategy 2011. A possible ambiguity in dialectical process is explored as it relates to an organization?s ability to effectively influence the understanding and identity of its employees through discourse.

Underhåll av maskinerna är en mycket viktig del av gruvbrytningen idag och utan god underhållsplanering och utförande går det inte att bedriva denna verksamhet. Underhållsplaneringen på de stora grävlastarna är en viktig pusselbit för att produktionen av malm och gråberg kan flyta på utan störningar. Underhåll på dessa giganter görs av naturliga skäl där maskinerna står, nere i gruvan. Syftet med denna rapport är att analysera dagens underhåll och komma med förslag på förbättringar på maskinen och underhållsrutinerna. Vi har i denna rapport analyserat dagens underhåll på lastmaskinerna. Vi inriktade oss på en specifik typ av lastmaskin av fabrikatet Bucyrus 495BII. Maskinen är en elektriskt driven grävmaskin som har en totalvikt på 1 220ton och en skopkapacitet på 110ton (43m3)..

Is there a specific tradition of songs within the swedish environmental movement? What kinds of music has been performed in different situations and what does it mean to the movement and its inner life? The essay deals with a town meeting and action against plans of establishing passenger flights at a former military airport in Uppsala, looking at the action as a performance and as a ritual. The second part of the essay is built on interviews of three veterans of the movement's organisations one of which is as a singer-songwriter originally active in the peace movement of the 60's. The paper is about the songs and the situations in which they were sung, concluding that there is, the limited material considered, little evidence of considerable transfer of songs within the movement, though some coherence exists. The connection to between environmental movement and the swedish radical music movement of the 70's is also slightly mentioned.

LKAB Malmberget är en av de största järnmalmsgruvorna i världen och i nuläget ser framtidsutsikterna lysande ut. Stålkonsumtionen ökar och priset på järnmalm stiger. Gruvan är i ett utvecklingsskede där bygget av ett nytt pelletsverk pågår och likaså planering av en ny huvudnivå. Huvuduppgiften för uppfordringsanläggningen i Malmberget är att transportera malm från gruvan till lagringsfickan Lappkyrkan och därifrån förse verken med malm. Uppfordringen är en viktig del av produktionsflödet underjord, där störningar och avbrott snabbt kan få konsekvenser med ekonomiska följder.

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte var att utreda vilka visioner och tankar industrins företrädare hade inför Luleå Industri och Slöjdutställning som genomfördes sensommaren 1894. En stor del av resultatet bygger på min undersökning av hur utställningen planerades och realiserades. Det var Luleå Fabriks- och Hantverksförening som ville marknadsföra länet i samband med invigningen av norra stambanan. Norrbotten ansågs vara industriellt outvecklat i jämförelse med övriga Sverige. Genom utställningen skulle utbildade industriinvesterare lockas till orten.

My work deals with large scale design of the urban fringe. The thesis is divided in three parts; ?Current viewpoints?, ?Infra City ? conditions ? and ?Infra City ? project?. In the first part, I go through the history of trade shortly. Then I discuss the concept of nature, which ends up in a linkage between natural science and aesthetics in landscape architecture. The link between those two makes a project stronger and more multifunctional. The object of my case, Infra City, is a mall situated north of Stockholm on both sides of the E4 motorway going to Arlanda airport.

In today s society, services are becoming more and more important. They are however, partly because of their immaterial nature, separated from traditional merchandise, why the marketing and producing of them differs. Quality errors in a service are often difficult to discover before the service is brought to a customer, since the producing and consuming of it often takes place simultaneously. Quality errors in a service process are called service failures or in Swedish tjänstefel. Nevertheless, with an effective service recovery process, dissatisfied customers can be turned into satisfied ones.

This thesis aimed to investigate how a rising sea level would affect the livable area of the island Fongafale, Tuvalu. Through the IPCC stabilization scenarios it was examined which areas of the island that would be affected by flooding. The local population?s perceptions of the effects of climate change were studied to see how the consequences of a world-wide problem such as global warming affect people's lives. The paper clarified the Tuvaluans place in the discussion of climate refugees, explained IPCC's work and described the results of previous studies concerning people in Fongafales perceptions and concerns about climate-related changes.

Effektiviteten i sönderdelningsprocessen är väldigt låg. Genom att kategorisera och övervaka parametrarna i processen kan den optimeras.
