Fo?r att lindra preoperativ a?ngest anva?nds oftast lugnande la?kemedel och information till patienten.Syfte:Syftet med denna litteraturstudie a?r att underso?ka om det finns omva?rdnadsa?tga?rder som har god effekt vid preoperativ a?ngest, vilket skulle kunna ge mo?jligheter att individanpassa va?rden.Metod:En litteraturstudie da?r vetenskapliga artiklar so?ktes i databaserna PubMed och CINAHL.

The purpose of our study is to examine what risk factors can contribute to a child/youth with neuropsychiatric disorders developing an addiction to drugs. We also wanted to find out what protective factors can contribute not to develop an addiction. In order to find out these two different aspects we interviewed twelve professionals to get their view upon the matter. The professionals work within different sectors such as school, healthcare, social services and one of the interviewed is a member of an organization that specialises in neuropsychiatric disorders.When analysing our result of the interviews we used Bronnfenbrenner´s theory on the ecology of human development. What we found was that there are significant risk factors and protective factors on different levels of the child's environment.On the first level, the microsystem, interpersonal relations have an impact on the child's development.

ABSTRACT: Introduction: There are intentions from the Swedish government to provide guidelines and tools for a healthy social planning. The field is in a Swedish context relatively unstudied regarding psychosocial health and the neighbourhood. Aim: The study aimed to examine how social planning can affect the health of individuals. The focus areas were contextual and compositional factors related to individuals' psychosocial health and the contextual risk- and health factors that exist in the neighbourhood. Method: A literature-based study was conducted and 15 scholarly articles form the basis for analyse.

Purpose of this thesis is to study the impact of wind turbines on their surroundings. It also aims to analyze how the communication looks between the authorities, the planner and local residents prior to the establishment of wind turbines in Lännäs/Odensbacken in Örebro, where three wind turbines set up in a group.The results of this survey show that the participants experience themselves not as especially disturbed of the turbines in the form of large noise, shadows, and sleep disturbance indoors and outdoors. Participants felt that no change had taken place on the natural environment (52%) since the turbines became operational. It was 49% of participants had got no information about the establishment of Örebro Municipality, Örebro County Administrative Board or Wind Power Company. Scientists/­experts had the highest confidence of 86%, politicians and the media/journalists had least confidence.

Bakgrund: Det finns kunskaper om rökningens risker, orsaker till att sjuksköterskor röker, hur rökningen påverkar viljan till att genomföra omvårdnad i rökavvänjning och prevention och rådgivning. I studier har det framkommit att det finns ett utbildningsbehov bland sjuksköterskorna rörande omvårdnadsinterventioner inom rökavvänjning bland patienter. Det saknas kunskap kring vilket stöd utbildning ger i omvårdnadsarbetet för rökavvänjning. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa sjuksköterskans utbildning i rökavvänjning och på vilket sätt utbildningen stödjer sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsinterventioner inom rökavvänjning. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en forskningsöversikt där tretton originalartiklar analyserades med deduktiv innehållsanalys.

The aim of this study is to examine if and to what extent the personnel at the local school perceive offensive treatment through the social media among the students and what the personnel thinks about the responsibility of the school to prevent this type of abuse. Offensive treatment through the social media has become a common occurrence among youth and affects health in both psychological and physical ways. As offensive treatment through the social media often takes place outside of school in the students spare time the responsibility of their health is unclear. But since it affects their school results the school has a responsibility to act, which is confirmed by legislation. However, the legislation does not mention offensive treatment through the social media and the school has no distinct guidelines to prevent this form of offensive treatment.

The State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls was one of the two swedish educational institutions established under state management in the 1920s and came to be the starting point for further government operations for the mentally deficient. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the activities of the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls, out of what needs the institution filled in Sweden?s care for the mentally deficient. The institution has tried to be understood from the view of eugenics and the perspective of children that was current during the 1900s first half.To fulfill the purpose of the study, the archives for the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls was studied and analyzed with basis of previous research on Sweden?s care for the mentally deficient and the impact from eugenics and Sweden?s child perspective.The study shows that the State Institution for Education of Feebleminded Girls mostly existed to educate students and adapt them to the community, which the institution did by education, disciplinary Interventions and sterilizations.

As the contemporary discourse surrounding urbanism is almost exclusively focusing on aspects of density and traditional urban qualities, it entrenches notions of what constitutes a proper city and countryside. But beyond this urban-rural dichotomy is another highly contemporary landscape. A territory usually mentioned as sprawl, peri-urban, wasteland, edge city, etc. Although its existence is due to mobilization, telecommunications, globalization and other phenomena of modern life, it is a landscape without an own name or place in public awareness.This thesis provides a case study of how to map and intervene in such a landscape, specifically along the border between Malmö and Burlöv municipalities in southern Sweden. Its structure is composed of a sequence of three parts:1 Spatial Conditions:Divided up in the sections Network, Fringe and Void.

There is a need for low cost Interventions like household-based water treatment and safe storage (HWTS). Solvatten AB is a Swedish company based in Stockholm. Their product, Solvatten, is a household water treatment unit that can treat water containing viruses, parasites and bacteria.

Background: The goal of psychiatric nursing Interventions is to enhance people?s ability tocope with feelings of futility, to get control of their lives and to learn coping strategies inorder to manage their mental illness and its consequences. Specialist nurses in psychiatric carecoordinate and direct nursing care based on evidence-based knowledge.Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate what kind of nursing acts specialist nurses usein the psychiatric inpatient unit and investigate how they perceive their professional role.Method: The design used was a descriptive qualitative interview study. Nine specialist nursesworking in psychiatric inpatient units were interviewed. Six of the participants were womenand three were men aged 28-53 years.

Oavsett människors ålder och tillstånd kan djur bidra med att förbättra psykiska, fysiska och sociala funktioner. Bra bemötande, personcentrerat förhållningssätt och goda mellanmänskliga relationer krävs för att kunna ge god omsorg. Närhet och tillhörighet är en del av de grundläggande mänskliga behoven. Livskvalitet handlar om hur individen värderar sitt psykiska, fysiska och sociala välbefinnande och att förbättra livskvalitet kan ofta ses som målet med omvårdnaden.Syfte: Att beskriva hur djurassisterade interventioner påverkar hälsorelaterad livskvalitet hos vårdtagare.Metod: Deduktiv litteraturöversikt genomfördes med nio kvantitativa artiklar.

The aim of this study was to investigate how school personnel work with preventive and health promoting efforts to motivate young people to achieve interest in physical activity and nutrition awareness. Further the aim was to describe the possibilities and difficulties that school personnel experience in their work.  The research questions were: How do school personnel describe their health promoting work at school? In a health promotion perspective, what efforts do school personnel think is important when it comes to nutrition and physical activity? What possibilities do school personnel experience with health promoting efforts? What difficulties do school personnel experience with health promoting efforts?The study has a qualitative approach in which seven individual interviews were conducted with personnel at a secondary school. The respondents worked with different aspects which broadened the perspective.

The debate regarding the relationship between state sovereignty and the protection of the hu-man rights was at its peak during the 1990?s. Never again the world wanted to witness the atrocities committed in Rwanda, but at the same time some states argued in favor of a strict interpretation of the principle of state sovereignty and non-intervention. In 2001, ICISS was created ? a commission with the aim to find consensus in the question of how the world should respond to mass atrocities committed by a state against their own people.

Inledning: Anknytningsbaserad familjeterapi (ABFT) syftar till att stärka relationen mellan ungdomar och föräldrar genom att bearbeta ungdomens känslor kopplade till anknytningsbrott i relationen. Denna studie fokuserar på det terapeutiska arbetet med känslor.Frågeställning: Vilka terapeutinterventioner kan man urskilja som bidrar till att ungdomar uttrycker känslor i ABFT?Metod: I denna kvalitativa fallstudie har ett urval sessioner av en videofilmad ABFT observerats och analyserats med avseende på hur ungdomens känslomässiga nivå förändras och vilka terapeutinterventioner som föregår förändringen.Resultat: Då terapeuten frågar eller uppmanar ungdomen att berätta om förberedda sårbara teman för föräldrar och samtidigt uppmanar föräldrarna att fråga och spegla empatiskt, stiger den känslomässiga nivån förutsatt att uppmaningarna är kopplade till ungdomens mer eller mindre implicita känslor. Känslor uttrycks i lägre grad vid individuella samtal med ungdomen.Diskussion: De enskilda interventionerna uppfattades inte vara det viktigaste för arbetet med fördjupning av känslor i denna terapi. Snarare var det att skapa ett gemensamt mål för arbete kring de känsloladdade teman som formulerats i terapin vilket är i linje med terapins intentioner.

Studies show that children?s and adolescents health decreases, especially the mental health. There are today many health methods that flourish in the school area. Methods that is external and used as individual Interventions and methods that have the intention to integrate health in all aspects of the school curriculum.Research on health projects often show what the intervention or method has produced. Few studies have been found who discuss the pupil?s own experience regarding health projects.
