Arbetsmotivera mera! : En kvantitativ studie om arbetsmotivation på Norstedts Juridik

Syftet med denna studie var att utvärdera arbetsmotivation på företaget Norstedts Juridik och att ge underlag för förbättringsarbete. Utvärderingen gjordes med hjälp av en modell för arbetsmotivation, som konstruerades med grund i teori och tidigare forskning. Modellen innefattade åtta dimensioner som tillsammans antogs utgöra arbetsmotivation. Dessa dimensioner var variation, autonomi, signifikans, feedback, utvecklingsmöjligheter, tillhörighet och lojalitet, lön och belöningssystem samt work- life balance. Dimensionerna analyserades i förhållande till de tre bakgrundsvariablerna kön, anställningstid och arbetsenhet och resultaten behandlades i statistikprogrammet SPSS.

Background: Older people are a major patient group seeking medical care in Sweden. Several of the elderly are living alone and the main reason for living alone is when the spouse passes away. Loneliness is a factor that can affect quality of life, health and wellbeing. Loneliness is an individual experience, loneliness can be self-chosen but involuntary loneliness can lead to lifelong suffering and feelings of loneliness. Aim: The aim of the study was to highlight the factors affecting loneliness among elderly people within municipal care living in Sweden.

Karaktärsskapandets potential och begränsningar

This project report describes a supplement for character creation in a tabletop role-playing game ?Dragons and Demons." The purpose of this project is to improve the character creation for the players? trough the narrative elements such as character?s background story. The applied qualitative methods such as a test panel and a questionnaire were conducted for the evaluation of theories used during character creation and to get feedback on the supplement?s creative value for the players. The aim of the questionnaire was to see how the method for the character creation differs from the regular way of making a character for a tabletop role-playing game and if this idea improves user experience during the tabletop role-playing game.The results of the evaluation are based on answers from novice and experienced players, and conclude that the additional background story creates an insight into the character's past, which makes it easier for novice players to get quick started with character creation.

Användarupplevelse inom mobila applikationer : En kvalitativ utvärdering av en befintlig utvärderingsmetodiks funktionalitet i en mobil kontext

Choosing the right user experience evaluation method can be difficult, choosing the right one for mobile user experience can be even more so. One major cause is that mobile usage is context dependent. Another contributing factor is that there is not one widely adopted theory or framework for user experience due to its complexity.The purpose of this study was to evaluate an existing method artifact in its feasibility for evaluating mobile applications. The chosen method, AttrakDiff2 is a self-reporting semantic differential questionnaire to evaluate the user experience of an interactive product, based on its hedonic and pragmatic qualities.A study was conducted where the participants assessed one mobile and one web application, which were later rated with AttrakDiff2. The completion of the questionnaire was conducted as a think-aloud session subsequently followed by an interview.The results suggest that the participants experience was affected more by the evaluated application style than the different platforms.

The purpose of the research is to find out how the teacher of the pre-school looks at the value of the nature Pre-school. To get an understanding of what the nature pre-school enviorment can bring, we are talking about learning, knowledge, and experience combined with the everyday lessons learned from the natural world. The research is a stepping stone on the pre-school teacher?s thoughts and reflections of what a nature pre-school is. This is grounded in a view of how having options for alternative schools lead to wider research, and all conclusions where formed after multiple interviews and analysis.The results showed that the teachers involved are very positive to the nature pre-school environment and learning process.

However, there is a need to further explore parents? experience on this matter within a Swedish context. The aim of the current study was to examine how parents of preschool children, with and without disabilities, in Västerbotten, experience the impact of their child. A sample of 67 parents of children with disabilities and 134 parents of children without disabilities took part in the questionnaire study.

Hokus Fokus - gestaltning och utformning av rum för barn i sjukhusmiljö

In this project I have worked with creating a new kind of room in a hospital enviroment for children. The main purpose of the project has been to form a secure and positive experience for the patient while visiting a specific room at the department of childrens physiologi, at Drottning Silvias Children- and youth hospital in Gothenburg.The project was based on questions like how it is possible to move the focus from the unsecure and scary, to something secure and positive, when the patient is going through an testing situation.The target gruop included a wide age span (0-16 years old), therefore I have worked with a theme, H2O, that works for diffrent ages. In the room, I have applicated the theme in different levels that is changeable depending on the age of the patient.During the project I have presented my ideas for the staff at the hospital. We have discussed their problems, what they wish in their working enviroment and how they experience the situation for the patients. I have also asked the patients how they experience the specific room today.The result of the project is a visual idea of how you can create a room, that you don?t exepect to find in a hospital..

Hur kan elever bli delaktiga i bedömningsarbetet? Lärares syn på möjligheter och problem i praktiken

Sammanfattning I denna uppsats undersöker jag i kvalitativa intervjuer med tre lärare, på vilket sätt elever i svenska grundskolor (årskurs 7-9) deltar i bedömningsarbetet, och vilka olika problem som lärare upplever i samband med detta. Resultaten visar att de mest framträdande svårigheterna anses vara tidsbristen, och problem i samband med elevers förutsättningar. Tydligt är dock att orsaker till många av dessa problem redan finns grundlagda i arbetet med styrdokumenten och skolorganisationen. Lösningen på många av problemen kan vara utom lärarnas räckvidd, medan andra problem kan minska på längre sikt genom lärares och elevers ökade träning i bedömningsarbetet. En skolutveckling i riktning mot ett ökat elevdeltagande i bedömningen kräver att lärare tydligt kommunicerar med varandra och med eleverna, samt feedback till skolledning och forskning, så att kraven på lärarna kan bli realistiska och arbetsbördan rimlig..

Naturlig haptisk kraftåterkoppling från volymdata

As the volumes are entering the world of computer graphics the pure volume visualisation becomes a more important tool in for example research and medical applications. But the advance in haptics --- force feedback from the computer --- is behind. In volume haptics no equal to the proxy method so popular in surface haptics has yet emerged. Some implementations of volume haptics even use surfaces as intermediate representations so that surface haptics can be used.The intention of this work was to create natural feeling haptic feedback from volumetric density data using pure volume haptics. The haptic algorithm would be implemented in Reachin API for the Reachin Desktop Display, together with other parts to build up a usable volume visualisation environment.To achieve the feeling of stiffness and friction dependent on tissue type, a proxy based method was developed.

Författare: Peter Johansson Oskar Hanson Handledare: Johanna Törnquist Examinator: Guohua Bai Problemområde: Anledningen till detta examensarbete är att problem som kan uppstå vid systemutvecklingsprojekt vanligtvis har sin grund i kommunikationen mellan systemutvecklare med kundkontakt och dess kunder. Exempelvis hör en systemutvecklingsgrupp och ett bageri till två vitt skilda yrkesområden och därmed pratar de ?olika språk?, vidare kan det skapas semantiskt brus i kommunikationskanalen som i slutändan kan leda till en felaktig kravspecifikation och de verkliga förändringsbehoven förblir oupptäckta. Hypotes: Examensarbetet baseras på hypotesen: ?Semantiskt brus[1] i kommunikationskanalen[2], otillräcklig negativ feedback[3] från sändare[4] och mottagare[5] och svårighet att hitta rätt nivå på samtalet med hjälp av kodning[6] och avkodning[7] ger upphov till en felaktig bild av kundens verkliga förändringsbehov[8] .? Slutsats: Alla delar ur Shannons kommunikationsmodell tillsammans med cybernetikens negativa feedback påverkar resultatet vid framtagande av kravspecifikation. Delar som både teori och respondenter tar upp är att som konsult måste denne ?kunna tala kundens språk?, hitta rätt nivå på samtalet, ge och ta negativ feedback samt undvika semantiskt brus i kommunikationskanalen.

"Man får mycket gratis med en öppen attityd" : Projektledarens upplevelse av kundrelationen i kundorderprojekt

The purpose of this paper has been to describe the project manager's experience of the customer relationship in customer order projects. A qualitative interview study has been conducted in which seven project managers were interviewed. A thematic analysis resulted in four overall themes. The results showed the importance of a clear, responsive and open communication as well as a large degree of customization to meet the customer the best way as possible. The experience was also characterized by a dynamic relationship and the importance of the customer's expectations.
