During a time when the parents may need support, guidance and a sense of control ? the family might need to relocate to a hospital away from home if the child needs highly specialized medical care at a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the parents? experience of having to change neonatal care unit.

AbstractResource efficient manufacturing is a term that has been increasingly applied within manufacturing, where one of the key points is to reduce waste of such forms that do not add value for the end customer. By the Lean principles, there are seven plus one types of waste, in which the definition of the eighth point varies among sources. In this study, the eighth type of waste has been interpreted as the untapped creativity and competence among employees that has not been put to use. From this, our question was incubated; How can you make the most of the employees? untapped creativity and potential within manufacturing? The case study will be developed with empirical data obtained from Dometic Group by conducting interviews.From the gathered literature, it was concluded that the communication between employees contributed to an increased understanding of one another as well as it allowed for improvement in work.

I den här studien har vi tittat på hur utbildning, motivation och feedback påverkar arbetsprestationen hos ordningspoliser, men vi har även tittat på hur dessa faktorer påverkar varandra. En av frågeställningarna i arbetet har varit om en handdator med lathundar/checklistor skulle kunna vara ett bra arbetsredskap i polisarbetet, samt hur denna handdator skulle kunna påverka arbetsprestationen ur ett utbildnings-, motivations- och feedbackperspektiv. Vi har inte på något sätt skrivit en heltäckande studie över vad som påverkar dessa faktorer utan koncentrerat oss på hur en handdator skulle kunna fungera motiverande, utbildande och som en källa för feedback av det egna arbetet. Vår slutsats har blivit att vi tror att en handdator skulle kunna höja arbetsprestationen hos poliser i yttre tjänst som helhet och att vissa poliser skulle kunna få en ökad arbetskapacitet av att jobba med ett sådant hjälpmedel. Det finns dock många ytterliggare faktorer som påverkar som vi har utelämnat eller bara berört lätt i denna studie..

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to look into how ex-offenders experience that stigmatization and labeling- processes might affect their possibilities to create an integrated and adapted life in society. It is also of interest to study how and if the interviewees experience their self-image to be affected by these processes. Our research-questions are:-          How do ex-offender males experience stigmatization and labeling-processes to impact their possibilities when trying to re-integrate into society?-          Do ex-offender males experience their self-image being affected by stigmatization and labeling-processes? If so, how are they affected? In order to achieve this we interviewed members of the organization KRIS in Örebro, where we selected males over 23 years of age with a prior prison sentence. The study is based on the labeling-theory of Howard Becker as well as the stigma-theory by Erving Goffman.In the conclusions derived from the results we found that the interviewees experience a more distinct and obvious stigmatization and labeling from authorities such as the police and the legal system, than that from other people in society.

Militärt ledarskap har tidigare utforskats inom en militär kontext. De senaste åren har många officerare slutat inom försvaret och blivit chefer inom det civila. Uppsatsen undersöker kvalitativt huruvida dessa chefer har nytta av erfarenheten från försvaret i sitt civila ledarskap. Detta görs utifrån en litteraturgenomgång av ledarskapsforskning och den militära kontexten. Tretton chefer på mellanchef till VD-nivå intervjuades i ett semistrukturerat format inspirerat av grundad teori.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe what factors are most important to students when choosing training center, and how these factors affect the choice of each training center. We investigated this by performing a qualitative research and a quantitative survey of students at Karlstad University that trains at Friskis & Svettis and Sats in Karlstad. The results show that there are a number of important factors in the total customer experience that affects a student's choice of training center and that they also differ between a premium center and basic center. Our conclusion is that when a total customer experience concept consists of a core, core experience and peripheral experiences well linked into each other competitive advantages is created, resulting in more satisfied and loyal customers. .

Visitor Centers were first established at various national parks in North America. Most Visitor Centers were built in the ten-year period following 1952. The purpose of the Visitor Centers was to welcome visitors and enhance their experience of the national parks. The purpose of this study is to perform a description of how parents experience their life in a stepfamily and to examine how the parents experience the involvement from their new partner in the children?s upbringing. The purpose of my essay is towrite about newly qualified elementary teachers during their first professional experience and their opinions of a teacher's identity. My interest is a result of that I myself am studying to be a teacher and am reaching the end of my studies.My purpose is mainly to examine how teachers first experience their role and if their education helped them resolve any problems they had. My aim was also to examine what the teacher?s identity and role and the question of leadership means for new teachers?I have used a qualitative interview method.The results showed that new teachers experience difficulties and that their training does not prepare them sufficiently. The results also showed that the teacher?s identity, the teacher?s role and leadership are factors that grow with time and experience in the teaching role and that it is not something that the beginner teachers acquire during their education. I have achieved a clearer picture of what to expect and how to enter into the role of teacher with support and time..
