Avsikten med min uppsats är att analysera Levinas begrepp Il y a, det finns, som han utvecklar som en del av sin kritik mot Heideggers fundamentalontologi. Levinas diskussion om det finns är riktad mot Heideggers idé att ångesten utsätter oss för intet, något som Levinas motsätter sig eftersom han menar att man aldrig kan nå intet i livet. Den centrala frågeställningen i denna uppsats är varför det finns är ett nödvändigt begrepp, vi har ju redan Heideggers begrepp varat? I min uppsats jämför jag även Levinas idé om det finns med Heideggers idé om långtråkigheten, ångesten och kastadheten. I sitt letande efter varat utforskar Heidegger två sinnestillstånd: det ena, långtråkigheten, uppenbarar varat.

The present essay concerns the Levinasian understanding of responsibility in relation to the two spheres that Levinas introduces in his second major work Otherwise than Being or Beyond Essence, namely the Saying and the Said. The essay investigates some of the different meanings that the concept responsibility takes on in regard to these two spheres, and thus also in regard to the separation between the ethical and the political that is apparent in the book. Is it possible to find a politically uttered responsibility in Levinas Otherwise than Being or Beyond Essence?The essay wants to emphasize the continuous transition between the ethical or the Saying and the political or the Said, and vice versa, with the purpose of showing how the two spheres may be conceived simultaneously. By posing the relationship between the two as a reciprocal rather than a oppositional one, the essay aims to suggest that an understanding of responsibility at once must be ethical and political.

The aim of this study is to examine if Kenneth, a character in the novel Nyår by Stig Larsson, takes his ethical responsibility for one of the characters that appears in one section of the book, Ann. Nyår has often been related to morality. This study shows that Levinas philosophy of ethics is a supplement to the discussion of morality. According to Levinas, a person that acts in a non-moral way still can act in a righteous ethical way. With this starting point, it is possible to be close to the text and to bring out new perspectives on the novel.

This essay is a study of ethics and morality in textbooks in religious education. Emmanuel Lévinas is one of the great ethics in the 20th century. His contribution to the philosophical discourse defies our thinking and behavior in a revolutionary way. He dismisses every categorization, every tematization, every moral based on an analytical reflection and compels us with an ethics that demands us not only to think, but to act and be responsible. This study constitutes an attempt to bring the notion of stupidity into relation with ethics and creativity, through a reading of Samuel Beckett's Endgame. Employing Emmanuel Lévinas' theories on ethics - the responsible responsiveness in regard to the Other and the concept of the Face - the objective is to demonstrate how stupidity, conceived as lack of control and knowledge, functions as a precondition for the ethical relation between humans, as well as that of the individual to her creativity..

The first aim of this study is to discuss and try to understand the relationship between the holy andethics, and more specifically how it can be understood, which is the critical question that I haveformulated, in Giorgio Agamben?s and Emmanuel Levinas? philosophies. The second, moreconstructive aim is to discuss whether the holy can be understood as something good or problematicin relation to the society.Rooted in philosophy of religion and ethics, I have first tried to discuss how the holy has beenunderstood in the philosophy of phenomenology and in the texts of Rudolf Otto, Mircea Eliade andEspen Dahl. The holy has in the history been understood as something central in religions, and hasalso not been connected to the idea of ethics. Recently it has also been critized ? by Dahl ? for notbeing so pure as first thought of.In Levinas texts the holy has been understood as something differentiated through his distiction,in the Talmudic reading ?Desacralization and Disenchantment?, between the holy, which can beseen as something pure, and the sacred which can been seen as something impure and a form ofdegenerated holiness.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att ur ett etiskt perspektiv belysa hur psykiatrisjuksköterskan skapar en relation med patienten i en hotfull situation. Metod: En empirisk studie med kvalitativ ansats. Öppna intervjuer med fyra psykiatrisjuksköterskor låg till grund för innehållsanalys enligt Graneheim och Lundman (2004). Resultat: Analysen resulterade i fyra teman vilka är Sjuksköterskan som professionell vårdare, Sjuksköterskan som patientens advokat, Det hotfulla mötet och Det motsättningsfulla mötet. Slutsats: Psykiatrisjuksköterskan skapar en relation med patienten i en hotfull situation, förklarad med hjälp av Lévinas etik, genom att bli djupt påverkad av medlidande och sorg över patientens öde, genom att med sitt bestående ansvar ta initiativ att närma sig patienten i lyssnande och tillit, genom att i detta lyssnande få stöd av arbetsgruppen, för att utvidga ansvarstagandet i relation till patienten, den Andre och genom att, när tvång används, vara övertygad om att det är för patientens bästa.

All my short stories have been written in an intuitive way according to which no outline of characters, intrigue or plot was made in advance. A consequence of this process is that not even myself as the author is aware of the meaning of the texts and therefore I too have to interpret the stories. Because of the character of the text, I use an analysis of archetypes according to C. G. Jung?s analytic psychology.

Ann-Louise Eriksson förklarar varför motsägelsen tillåts genom att övertrumfa den med ett paradigmatiskt etiskt paradigm som hon hämtar från sin feministteologiska övertygelse. The aim of this study was to illuminate how patients with rheumatoid arthritis experienced the relationship to the caregivers in the ?rheumatic-team?, and the participation in this team.

This scientific essay starts in a story where you get to follow me in my work by three situations with creative problem behavior at the special school where I work. The story culminates in a dilemma where I ask myself questions about how I look at my actions and my thoughts about the student. I break down and put these thoughts into three questions: What is my student's perspective and how will it affect my actions? How can I explain my actions and attitude of the student from ethical perspective? How do my practical knowledge look like in the narrative situations and why do I act like I do?My approach is to get answers to the questions by the reflection of the text itself, the reflection group and supervisors, as well as through literature that I find relevant to the issues. The process is like a pendulum motion between text, reflection and new understanding.I look at my situations based on psychological theories about the treatment of persons within the autism spectrum of problems creative behavior.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskor har ett etiskt ansvar för sina handlingar och bedömningar i vården. Etisk kompetens utgör en del av sjuksköterskans profession.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att undersöka hur den etiska kompetensen hos sjuksköterskan beskrivs.Metod: Denna litteraturöversikt grundas i tolv vårdvetenskapliga artiklar vilka har lästs upprepade gånger. Nyckelfynd har kunnat identifieras avseende den etiska kompetensen hos sjuksköterskan. En sammanfattning av varje studie utfördes för att sedan utmynna i en sammanställning där två huvudteman urskildes. Därefter bildades nya underteman vilka presenterar resultatet.Resultat: I resultatet beskrivs den etiska kompetensen med dess komponenter.

Bakgrund: Historiskt sett har människor som levt i samkönade relationer haft en sårbar situation i samhället och ofta blivit utsatta för diskriminering. I Sverige finns idag en lag som förbjuder diskriminering relaterat till sexuell läggning. Målet med hälso- sjukvårdslagen är att hela befolkningen ska ha en jämlik hälsa. Trots detta uppskattar de som lever i en samkönad relation att de har en sämre hälsa än övrig befolkning. Inom vården föreligger ofta ett heteronormativt förhållningssätt, vilket kan leda till osäkerhet för familjer med en annan konstellation än den heterosexuella.
