Det empiriska materialet baseras på åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer med chefer inom bank- och detaljhandelsbranschen Studien konstaterar att storbankerna måste utveckla sina Retail Banking verksamheter för att bemöta konkurrensen från andra bankaktörer. We also want to see if Nordea uses additional strategies that goes beyond the theory and what their customer relationship strategy is.Method:                             The study has a qualitative research method with an inductive approach. Interviews with leading and skilled profiles at Nordea Private Banking has been interviewed to provide answers to our research question.Theoretical framework: The chapter starts with theory about what relationship marketing is and what is driving customer loyalty. Thereafter theory that define CRM and its pros and cons are addressed, and finally the chapter describe the implementation phase.Empirical framework:     In the empirical framework we present the qualitative interviews that were done with employees at Nordea Private Banking.Conclusion:                       The result from this study shows that Nordea Private Banking uses strategies that are common in theory of CRM to gain high customer loyalty and the use of recommendations from satisfied customers is of a much higher significance in Nordea Private Banking?s case than of what the theory is implying.

Nischbanker - potentiella dynamikskapare

The Banking industry is a fundamental part of the economy in Sweden. Despite its importance, the competition and the concentration level within the Swedish Banking sector is relatively unexplored. This paper aims to examine the development of the concentration level in the Swedish Banking sector during a period of ten years, 2003 to 2013. The examined banks in the study are the four largest banks in Sweden; Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank, and four selected niche banks, ICA banken, Ikano Bank, Länförsäkringar Bank and Skandiabanken. In order to examine the development in percentage change, there are six selected variables; loans, deposits and borrowings (both public and households), net interest income and return on equity, which are observed during a period of ten years.

Students today, in the Banking system, are the least loyal group. Students are also the most costly group due to the large investments, made by the banks, for them. Banks have generalized all students in one category and have adapted their offering regardless of students? social statues. As the students Banking needs are dependent on their position in their lifecycle, generalizing them in one group is not optimal.The aim of this thesis is to investigate those factors which influence students? choice of bank.

Relationship Marketing - will banks be able to handle higher consumer mobility in the private market?The purpose of this paper is to gain an understanding of the factors that affect customer loyalty to the bank. Consumer mobility will probably increase as a result of political changes and pressures on the private Banking market to become more competitive. This study was carried out using semi-structured interviews and were transcribed and analyzed with the help of models and theories centered on relationship marketing. The theories describe loyalty, the customer lifecycle and relationships between customers and organizations.

I denna kandidatuppsats ämnar vi undersöka några viktiga drivkrafter som driver koncentrationerna av svenska bankers etablering inom kluster för Private Banking i Luxemburg. Finansklustret lever kvar trots ändrade förutsättningar och hårdare regleringar. Genom en kvalitativ studie av två svenska banker som har enheter i finanscentrum i Luxemburg, undersöker vi drivkrafter bakom etableringarna.

The concept of a Sharia compliant financial system has been a frequently discussed topic among scholars, bankers and media since the 1960th. It origins from the prohibition of interest, riba, which is stated in the Quran. Islamic Banking is spread across the Muslim world and also exists in some western countries. This paper will try to create an image of what Islamic Banking is in theory and in practice. For the Banking system in Sweden the crisis began to show in the beginning of 2008 and there where a lot of speculations about how serious the crisis would be and it?s consequences. In several aspects, the banks' situation in the current crisis, are linked to the Banking crisis in the 1990s. Although these crises have had different break-out reasons, there are several parallels between these crises to be drawn.

De fyra svenska storbankerna; Nordea, Föreningssparbanken, Handelsbanken och SEB agerar och värderas internationellt. Värderingarna grundas på bankernas kompetens, resurser och finansiella produkter och framförallt värderas bankernas marknadsandel och befintliga kundrelationer. Den svenska bankmarknaden påverkas av den växande internationella konkurrensen och bankerna måste därför skapa egna eller anskaffa internationellt konkurrenskraftiga finansiella produkter. Syftet med denna artikel är att utifrån den resursbaserade teoriansatsen analysera fallföretaget Sparbanken Finn. Framförallt skall vi applicera ett modulärt angreppssätt på produktion av finansiella produkter; detta för att avgöra den modulära teorins eventuella tillämpbarhet.

Så gör förmögna

Historiskt sett har kapitalförvaltning endast varit de rika förunnat, men under de senaste åren har vi sett en ökad rörlighet bland förmögna och nya aktörer vill vara med och slåss om förvaltningen. Numera har också många fler människor tillgång till information och de flesta har direktaccess till kapitalmarknaden. Private Banking är ett begrepp som syftar till en viss typ av behandling för en viss typ av kunder. I Sverige finns det idag cirka 53 000 personer som har mer än 3 miljoner kronor att förvalta. För att utnyttja fördelarna i den nya ekonomin krävs en helt annan typ av engagemang från kunden än vad som förväntas vid traditionell Private Banking.

Private Banking : En lönsam kostnad?

Problem: Hur skiljer sig Swedbanks Private Banking-tjänst ifrån dess Privatrådgivningstjänst i termer av kundkaraktäristika, relationsmässigt mervärde samt finansiell avkastning? Hur skiljer sig bankens fokusering ifrån kundens efterfrågan baserat på dessa variabler? Vad beror dessa eventuella skillnader på?Hur ser en modell som förklarar sambandet mellan avkastning och kontaktintensitet ut och är en exklusivare rådgivningstjänst så som PrivateBanking-tjänsten nödvändig att tillhandahålla för kundens räkning baserat på dessa variabler?Syfte: Definiera det mervärde Swedbanks AB:s PrivateBanking-tjänst medför i form av avkastning och relationsmässiga sådana, och vad som driver kunden att betala för denna tjänst jämfört med ordinär Privatrådgivning. Detta kommer generera en slutsats huruvida Private Banking-tjänsten medförnågon överavkastning, samtidigt som en modell kommer kunna skapas som visar ett eventuellt samband mellan avkastning och kontaktintensitet, vilket visar nödvändigheten med exklusivare sådana. Detta för att finna de eventuella gap som finns mellan kundens uppfattning och bankens tyngdpunkter.Metod: Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer med Private Banking- och Privatrådgivare på Swedbank AB. Därefter har en kvantitativ undersökning genomförts i form av enkäter till kunder som innehar Swedbanks rådgivningstjänster.

FINNS DET ETT DILEMMA ? : En fallstudie av mellanchefer

The study deals with the causes of unjustified differences in pay between women and men in the Banking sector. The purpose of this paper has been to examine how a gender project implemented in the private Banking organizations from a gender-and implementation perspective. The aim of the project examined is to even unjustified differences in pay between men and women in the Banking and finance sector. The main issues are: ? How has the project been implemented and what are the real and perceived results? ? How can the opportunities and barriers to successful implementation course with emphasis on gender? The method used is a qualitative study, where the empirical material consisted of focus group interviews.
