I Sverige är det svårt att uppskatta antalet personer som skadar sig eftersom det finns få studier gjorda och för att det finns ett stort mörkertal som aldrig uppmärksammas. Att skära sig i huden är förmodligen det vanligaste sättet att skada sig på och orsakerna till självskadebeteendet varierar. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva omvårdnad av patienter med självskadebeteende. Metod: Studien är baserad på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar.

This thesis describes how social work language practice circulates around the implementation process of an evidence based structured assessment tool – Savry. The purpose is to examine and understand the social workers language practice in a working group that uses this structured assessment tool in their work with youth. The purpose is also to look for dimensions of identity in terms of discourse. The ontological viewpoint is post-structuralism where language is in focus. The theoretical framework is discourse theory based upon the work of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe.

Syftet med studien var att utreda om det fanns kvantitativa och kvalitativa skillnader i elevers upplevelser av hur meningsfullt livet i allmänhet och skolan är, vad som är meningsfullt i skolan samt om de har långsiktiga mål med sin framtid och om det skiljer sig åt mellan elever på en Kunskapsskola och en skola utan liknande arbetsformer. Syftet med studien var också att undersöka om det fanns något samband mellan elevernas upplevelser av meningsfullhet i livet och i skolan. Kunskapsskolan valdes ut som skola av intresse för studien då eleverna på skolan planerar, genomför och följer upp sina personliga mål, vilket i tidigare studier visat sig ha positiv påverkan på upplevelsen av mening. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna som anammades var begreppet meningsfullhet inom Antonovskys teori om känslan av sammanhang, KASAM, samt ungdomars innehav och strävan efter mål och mening i livet enligt teorin om Youth purpose. I studien användes en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ delstudie.

How well developed the technology may be, it is still not enough to keep us entirely from harm. Human error will always be a factor in the human interaction with a workplace.

The United Nations is an important organization when it comes to international peace and security. Recent events in international politics, however, have brought about a widespread concern about the abilities of the organization. Powerful states have shosen to act outside of the organization to achieve their goals. They have furthermore a disproportionate influence on the decision-making body, the Security Council.The aim of this essay is to examine wheather UN can function productively as keeper of the international peace and security in the political climate of today, and to find out to what extent the powerful states harm the organization. I use a theoretical article, concerning states relations to international organisations, to analyse the acts of powerful states in UN.

It considers the use of the area, environmentally dangerous activitiesin the past and present, the geology?s part, what harm hydroelectric power damsmay cause if they break and how climate change might affect the area in thefuture. It also takes into consideration activities outside the waterprotection areas which might have a suspected impact on the water quality. Theresults of the study are that pollution from infrastructure such as roads, orwastewater from treatment plants may cause occasional contamination of thedrinking water, foremost due to flooding.

If the IPO would not be carried out, it could cause harm to the position of the underwriters. We are in an emerging digital society where we are increasingly dependent on the mastery of IT and digital technologies to better carry out our everyday tasks. They cover everything from keeping in touch with family and friends to pay bills and declare. At the same time there are those who have not learned how to use the new technology and live their lives outside of the digital society. What happens to these people, in a society that is becoming increasingly digitized? Do they take harm by being in digital exclusion? It looks like this are issues that will not become less important as digital technology constantly changes.

This essay deals with the relationship between subcultures and literature. It includes an analysis of what adolescents read if they get to choose fiction by themselves. The method used in this essay is a hermeneutic method. Five novels are used in the search for subcultures and qualities and ideals within them. The essay reveals five specific subcultures, and significant features of those are presented in the analysis.

This thesis is dealing with how students living in a student corridor experience the circumstances in their corridor. The aim is through interviews with students living in the corridors get a inside look at their situations. I want to examine how changed conditions of life, new meetings and new experiences will influence their personalities. How are the students living in the corridors affected by conflicts and how do they protect themselves from the influence of the rest of the group living there? In addition to that I want to know what they think is important prioritises throughout their student time, like if there are anything important that a student should take time to do beside the studies.

Bakgrund: Självskadebeteende är ett samhällsproblem som ökar. Personer med självskadebeteende kan ofta uppleva att de inte bemötts på ett bra sätt av vårdpersonal. Beteendet kan vara svårt att begripa och provocerande för omgivningen. Personer som skadar sig själv gör det i syfte att lindra ångest och smärta. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelser i bemötandet av personer med självskadebeteende.

How does the recent wave of preferential trading arrangements affect, the incentives for further trade liberalization of member states, and the possibility of obtaining global free trade? And are there any differences in this aspect between custom unions and other forms of preferential trading arrangements? These questions are well debated and have divided international trade researchers into two camps, one in favour for preferential trading arrangements and the other side against them. I have used well acknowledged researchers in the area of international trade theory to make a literature study of the above mentioned key elements in the debate. When comparing the two sides I have focused mainly on their differences, assumptions and results. I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing to be alarmed by of the wave of regionalism that?s occurring in the world today, but caution should be applied and more research in this area is necessary before any certain conclusions can be drawn.

This paper is about skiing and Swedish nationalism during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The aim is to investigate why skiing was considered so eminently suited for the incorporation of certain ideals in the national fellowship.The paper accounts an analyse of texts and documents about Swedish skiing from 1897-1924. Skiing was a nationalistic concern from the very beginning of this period. It was connected to heartfelt feelings towards the Swedish nature, the patriotic upbringing of the youth, as well as the health of the nation. Over the years skiing also became an increased object of sportification.

The overall aim of this study is to examine how Swedish women?s youth- magazines describes women. Through a social constructivist perspective, this essay particularly focuses on how the magazines deals with issues of gender and sexuality and what norms they reproduce. The magazine?s image of the young Swedish woman is a somewhat complex one, although one thing is strikingly clear: she is very different from men.
