"Understanding what I write" is a study of university-scientists? work concerning science-information, with the basis in Pedagogical Theory. The empirical material is collected through an inquiry and several interviews with scinentists at the ten universities of Sweden. This inquiry was done within the timeframe of November 2000 to Janurary 2001. The purpose is to find out wich methods scientists use to spread their knowledge to the society and what possibilities there are to improve these..

The purpose of this study is to find, understand and discuss the experiences of former employees at SAAB, and present how this can be understood according to my core theoretical concepts, which are participation and identity. The questions asked in the study are based on how the labor is described, characterized and what comes forth as valuable, which is compared to absence of labor work.First, labor is described in an historical and social context, and at the same time related to the core theoretical concept. Second, the methodology chapter is presented, which mainly consists of 11 observations and 10 interviews. Third, the chapter regarding former theory leads to an analysis model, which is used on the empirical material of the study.The result shows that labor work at SAAB primarily is described as important for socializing, security and the possibility to be independent. The tasks at SAAB are described as backbreaking and monotonous, while the lack of labor work influences the physical and mental wellbeing.

Det här examensarbetet tar avstamp i metaforen ?att komma ut ur garderoben? och som blivande lärare intresserar jag mig för hur verksamma lärare som inte är heterosexuella väljer att agera i frågan om öppenhet.Syftet är att synliggöra ickeheterosexuella lärare genom att analysera och tolka tre lärares berättelser om sin yrkesvardag samt att diskutera resultatet ur ett didaktiskt perspektiv.Min empiri bestod av cirka 7 timmar videodokumenterade intervjuer med tre lärare från grundskola, gymnasium och vuxenutbildning. Som en del av intervjun tittade vi på min film, Garderoben, där jag undersökt garderobsmetaforen med min kropp. Filmen är även en del i min konstnärliga gestaltning. I uppsatsen finns också bilder från när jag använder min konstnärliga undersökningsmetod i ett klassrum med en garderob.Det här examensarbetet befinner sig i fältet för livsberättelseforskning och har en socialkonstruktionistisk ansats, samtidigt som jag menar att språket inte kan skiljas från det materiella, det kroppsliga.

The purpose of this work is to map what inspiration means to people who work with music, how it feels when you are inspirated compared to how it feels when you`re not. How does inspiration affect us? Are we depending on it? What do you do when you lack inspiration? Is it possible to ?inspire? one self? My method has been to interview eight persons, selected by me, who all work with music. I have used literature, for instance about our intelligence, and also different theories on the subject of inspiration. The results of the interviews show that our experiences of inspiration are individual.

?Upplevelserummet- hur rummet påverkar elevers motivation till kreativt skapande? är mitt examensarbete på Institutionen för Musik och medier på Luleå tekniska universitet.I bakgrunden ges läsaren en orientering i begreppet upplevelserummet samt olika motivations- och kreativitetsteorier. Där redogörs även för waldorfpedagogiken, Goethes färglära och den antroposofisk arkitekturen, allt i syfte att låta läsaren förstå hela uppsatsens kontext.Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att skapa kunskap om upplevelserummets betydelse för skolelever i årskurs åtta utifrån begreppen kreativitet och motivation.Jag har genomfört min forskning utifrån en kvalitativ forskningsmetod med litteraturstudier och semistrukturerade intervjuer som forskningsverktyg. Jag har i studien intervjuat åtta elever i åldrarna 14-15 år på en waldorfskola i Stockholm.Resultatet av intervjuerna är uppdelat i tre huvudrubriker med tema upplevelserummet, kreativitet och motivation. Datan från intervjuerna pekar mot att upplevelserummet har ett eget värde oberoende av interaktionen mellan andra elever och lärare.

This thesis discusses how the education in the Master of Engineering program can change to become more into line for the students needs, especially for the women, both directly in the education situation and later in their occupational roles. This is done using a gender perspective. Both the education and the occupation today is characterised by masculine norms and values. Drawing on earlier research, and using observations as the method, this study presents a design of a nature playscape for children. Applying outdoor pedagogy to the fundamental structure of a specific location, the study proposes a design of a playscape, over a more obvious design, for instance one based around a quiz walk.The theoretical framework is Gibson?s theory of affordance, and the goal has been to create a "play flow". The purpose of the present study has been to explore if there is an agreement between people about what to call real country music. Three Swedish people who are interested in country music have described this music by means of interviews. The interviews have been analysed and compared with literature dealing with country music, and the result of the study presents three conceptions: authenticity, simplicity and contextual comprehension. The conclusion is that there seems to be some common views about what real country music is but that these conceptions are not defined in exactly the same way by different people..

This work is about Cuban music and my relationship to it. My study contains two different parts. In the first one I try to give a short summary of Cuban music history. The second part is about possibilities and problems that can arise in the meeting with foreign cultures. I have focused on three themes: Music and respect, cultural encounters and travelling, and communication.
