It was not until the first of may 2009 that it got legislated to be allowed in Sweden. The concept that people should be allowed to own their apartments instead of owning a part of the tenant-owner?s association is a new phenomenon in Sweden.

Urination is a biological need but the routines surrounding urination are culturally specific and ever changing. This makes the organization of public space an important part in deciding what actions are made possible for the people in it. This paper considers women?s public urination and the possibilities to merge the need to urinate and the construction of the female body as feminine.A number of texts that describe the construction of the female body and identity as both gendered and socially produced are analysed in relation to women?s experiences of incontinence. Incontinence as a medical diagnosis is by this becoming possible to question, and may be seen as one of several strategies used to manage both the organization of the public space and the expectations of the female body to be a docile body.The conclusion is that a woman who wants to enter public space has the following options when it comes to the need to urinate:To strive for the feminine ideal.

Detta arbete påvisar att en effekthöjning kan åstadkommas på en motor som arbetar enligt Ottoprincipen med bibehållen driftsäkerhet. Slutsatser om motormodifieringar och komponentutbyten drogs efter en detaljerad litteraturstudie, teoretiska beräkningar samt intervjuer med yrkesverksamma inom området.En överladdad 2,5 liters bensinmotor med fem cylindrar av märket Volvo användes som bas för en prototyp.Motorn genomgick en modifiering med komponentbyten och programmering av ECU för att åstadkomma en effekthöjning från 193 till 320 hk med bibehållen driftsäkerhet.Resultaten presenteras med figurer och beräkningar där testresultaten från motorn i original mot modifierat utförande jämförs, därefter följer en diskussionsdel om vad som kunde gjorts för att nå ett bättre resultat..

The purpose of this literature review is to visualize the contributing factors of insufficient hygiene routines and incorrect aseptic handling. The literature review contains ten scientific articles from England, USA, Italy and Sweden, and related literature. Factors causing the problem are presented as four themes, the most reoccurring in our material are lack of time, knowledge/education, equipment and attitudes/motivation..

Huvudämne/tema: Samverkan mellan operativa chefer och deras medarbetare inom olika teknikområden på en produktutvecklingsavdelning.Bakgrund: Förändring av samhälle och arbetsliv har medverkat till att traditionella chefer i företagens organisationer har bytts ut till att vara operativa chefer. En operativ chef är en mellanchef som ansvarar för olika funktionella områden och som har till huvuduppgift att balansera ledningens krav mot förmågan hos medarbetarna1. En chefsroll som innefattar ett tvärfunktionellt resultat- och verksamhets ansvar för den egna enheten2. De operativa chefernas uppgift är att vara chef över en process som innebär många samtida krav och uppgifter, som samtidigt skall samspela med de övriga bitarna i verksamheten, det vill säga de övriga operativa chefernas ansvarsområden, samt många fler kringliggande verksamhetsområden. En chefsroll som kräver en hög grad av flexibilitet.

In this thesis we have examined if some young people's identity is influenced by television programs. We chose to illustrate this from a gender perspective and have made use of social construction theory. We did group interviews with 13 youngsters, in three groups, to find out how much insight they had in what they watch, if they believe that they are affected and how they believe that gender roles in television programs often look. Our questions are: Does young people's identity take influence of the TV program? How? Creates a social construction of gender in the television programs that young people are watching? Is there awareness among young people on what they watch and how is this in this case out? Important to emphasize is that our results are not necessarily representative of youngsters in general when we only had the opportunity to interview a few.

The agricultural sector is currently highly dependent on fossil fuels, with diesel beingmost prominent. There are however both historical and modern alternatives thathave not been subject to enough evaluation to disregard them as suitable alternative.This report aims to theoretically investigate the feasibility of converting aconventional diesel driven tractor to run on electricity, delivered via a cableconnected to either the main power grid or on-site electric production, such asphotovoltaic. Delivering electricity to the machine via a cable is a method withhistorical roots in the early 20th century and in the present day mining industry.The economic and technological potential of the technique are evaluated, along withthe examination of several different motor powers, voltages, losses and constructionideas. The report finds the technique to be both possible as well as long termeconomically and environmentally beneficial. To realise this method however, somedeviations from the present methods of agricultural farming must be made,considering the more advanced driving patterns, the limited mobility and therequirement for extra driver awareness.

Bakgrund ? Genom instiftandet av Sarbanes ? Oxley Act of 2002 har företagen som varittvungna att följa lagen skapat processer och kontroller över den interna kontrollen gällandesin finansiella rapporteringen. I och med de ökade kraven på företagen som lagen ställer harockså kostnaderna för att följa densamma ökat. Då de flesta företag sedan tidigare användersig av kvalitetledningssystem såsom ISO 9001, har företag börjat fundera på om de kaneffektivisera sitt arbete gällande Sarbanes-Oxley Act och ISO 9001 genom att på något sättförena de två.Syfte ? Uppsatsens syfte är att se om det på något sätt går att förena det arbete somföretagen lägger ner på kvalitetsledningssystem såsom ISO 9001 med arbetet som det krävsatt följa Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.Avgränsningar ? Studien har avgränsats till att undersöka ett företag, Volvo Lastvagnar.Vidare avgränsning har gjorts i den mån att det är endast externa parter som i någon form ärverksamma på den svenska marknaden som har intervjuats för insamling av data ochinformation.Metod ? En kvalitativ metod har använts i uppsatsen, vilket förefaller naturligt då uppsatsenhar undersökt ett företag och inte flera.

Construction companies in Sweden have for recent years seen an increase in the numbers ofwarranty complaints associated with the market of resident buildings and the cost for this hasbeen measured to over 1.2 billion SEK per year. Working with poor quality cost as a way ofcreating insight about defects within the company?s processes is a method developed and usedby the manufacturing industry for decades, but have not yet reached the construction industry.This study has been performed in collaboration with a Swedish construction company, wherethe author has been stationed at the aftersales division for residential buildings. Owing tocircumstances, this published report has been made anonymous regarding the company whowill further on be namedthe Company. The Company is aware that warranty claims producegreat costs and has requested a way of putting cost and cause to specific claims in order ofreceiving a more specific cost view and to make the reuse of knowledge more efficient.

During spring 2009 a three meter tall and laughing robot was developed in collaboration between Royal Institute of Technology and Royal University College of Fine Arts. The robots function and esthetics is based on an existing toy robot called Elmo. Elmo is 30 cm tall but now the goal was to make it 1000 times bigger in order to present it on the spring exhibition of Royal University College of Fine Arts. Due to only four months of developing and building time a demand of fast determination and good planning was required. In order to make a good structure for the project it is divided into five phases: Analysis of Elmo, planning, concept development, detail construction and finally product development and testing.In the first phase valuable knowledge is obtained according to the movements and geometry of Elmo.

A growing issue in the construction industry is how production can become moreefficient by using logistical solutions. Companies can minimize the cost of a project byreducing the time to perform the work.The purpose of this report was to examine the logistics related to pipe trenches forSIAAB. The report's focus has been on solving problems and planning that wouldfacilitate the work of the project Vaksala-Lunda Etapp 3.The case study consists of interviews with SIAAB's employees and an observationwhere the progress of a traditional pipe trench has been documented using checklists.Questions to the report?s case study come from the theoretical part, which is basedon literature on construction management and logistics in general. The observationlasted five weeks and the biggest time-consuming events that affected the pipe trenchduring this time, has received most attention.

This thesis aims to spread some light over the phenomena of gender construction in the upper secondary school. The background of this thesis is the gender gap in education. Girls are more successful in school and receive better grades than boys. The explanation that is given for this is that pupils are limited by far to rigid gender roles (DEJA 2010). The question is how these gender roles ? and specifically masculinity ? are constructed.

På Volvo Lastvagnar AB i Umeå tillverkas i huvudsak kompletta lastbilshytter som levereras till fabriker i Göteborg och Ghent, där körklara lastbilar byggs ihop. Fabriken i Umeå tillverkar även lastbilshytter som levereras som byggsatser samt även reservdelar till de hytter som tillverkats i Umeå. De två sistnämnda artikelgrupperna har inte fått samma fokus från företaget som kompletta hytter har och följden är att produktionen inte fungerar tillfredställande. Leveransprecisionen är låg och den inblandade personalen upplever att flödet inte är bra. Syftet med detta projekt har varit att kartlägga flödet av förbehandlade artiklar på VLU samt föreslå åtgärder för att förbättra leveransprecisionen, hanteringen och kapitalbindningen i samma flöde.

The Latvian building company Laval un Partneri Ltd (Laval) posted Latvian construction workers at the rebuilding of a school in Vaxholm in autumn 2004. Because the company refused to sign a collective agreement with Svenska Byggnadsarbetareförbundet (Byggnads), which is the Swedish trade union for constructions workers, Byggnads put the construction site under a boycott. Next Laval sued Byggnads for damages in the Swedish Labour Court (AD) because Laval considers the boycott as well as Byggnad´s demand that Laval signs a collective agreement incompatible with EC Law. AD has now demanded a preliminary ruling from the European Court of Justice (ECJ). While waiting for the preliminary ruling from the ECJ, several important questions of principle stand unanswered.

Title: Kvarteret Tvättstugan, an apartment building with massive wood construction. A thesis about acoustic and fire requirements and a comparison of energy and moisture aspects. Earlier restrictions in the Swedish legislation have resulted that only a small percentage of the apartment buildings that have been built are designed with a massive wood construction. It has been allowed to build unrestricted with wood since 1994 as long as the function of requirements are fulfilled. This change in the rules together with the great environmental benefits of wood has led to that more companies choose to build apartment buildings with wood. One of these companies is Folkhem Production AB.
