Den här undersökningen har studerat hur arbetsmotivationen ser ut på Volvo i Curitiba, Brasilien. Vilka faktorer medarbetarna får tillfredsställda och hur ledarskapet påverkar deras arbetsmotivation. Det finns forskning som pekar på skillnader i maktdistans i olika kulturer. Därför har vi undersökt hur relationen mellan ledare och medarbetare ser ut. Eftersom att det i västvärlden har skett en förändring i synen på arbetet ville vi se om denna förändring skett även i Brasilien.

In order to decrease the disturbance from a cable testing equipment, the company Ericsson Network Technologies in Falun determined to design a new series resonant test system with a lower frequency. The new equipment is of series resonant type with a system frequency of 500 Hz. This equipment consists of an inductor, a capacitor and a voltage source. The voltage source is the same as the old one, the cable acts as the capacitor but the inductor has to be designed especially for the new equipment. In this thesis work several air coil inductor types were examined.

The trotting in Sweden has a good reputation in an international view, both in the perspective of success and how the sport is managed with focus on security, animal protection and animal welfare. A large number of equipment details are fitted on the horses during training and competition. The Swedish law of prevention of cruelty to animals regulate training and competition with racehorses, and propose to protect horses from unnecessary suffering. The equipment permitted in races is regulated in Tävlingsreglementet (The Regulation of Competititon) and in the regulations of equipment, that the Nordic Regulation Committee and Nordic Animal Welfare Committee have worked out. Due to training and competition the equipment must even meet the Swedish law of prevention of cruelty to animals. However, the behaviour or the senses of the horses is often affected by the equipment due to the way the equipment corrects, modifies, restrains or reduces the behaviour of the horse, which may cause the horse stress or discomfort.

SammanfattningDetta projekt har genomförts i samarbete med Volvo Construction equipment (VCE), enav de ledande tillverkarna av anläggningsmaskiner. Syftet med detta projekt var attundersöka om huruvida det är möjligt att estimera lastande moment på motorn i enhybridhjullastare som orsakas av dem sekundära hydrauliska pumpar som är anslutnatill den, detta med hjälp av dem tillgängliga sensorer som är monterade på maskinen.Der estimerade momentet skulle sedan användas för att förbättra motornsvarvtalsregulator och för att för ge en bättre arbetspunktreferens för motorn som skötsav ett energi manegement system.Projektet kan delas upp i tre delar. Den första delen var att ta fram en matematiskmodell som beskriver sambandet mellan pumpens lastande moment och demtillgängliga sensorn signaler. Andra delen består av att välja och implementera enlämplig skattningsmetod för att estimera det lastande moment. Och slutligen enimplementerings del där man tillämpar det skattade momentet för att förbättra motornshastighetsreglering.En estimeringsalgoritm har utvecklats och testats i hjullastaren som har visat enförbättring av motorns varvtalsreglering.

Construction waste from the housing industry includes all unnecessary consumption of building materials. The definition of construction waste is construction materials that has not been built in and becomes waste. Constructions waste can be divided into two types of contributions: operational and work site contribution. Some of the common construction materials in housing industry have such low usage level as 75 % and the rest becomes construction waste. Low usage of construction materials creates unnecessary costs and has a major environmental impact.

The graduation essay has been carried out in co-operation with Kalmar Industries in Lidhult, Sweden. The purpose of our essay was to develop a complete construction solution on a hoist that could lift a laying wheel, lift it up and then turn it 90 degrees. After that the wheel shall be placed in a special holder.The background of the essay is a record of reports of damage wheels when they been incorrect lifted with a forklift. The hoist shall be used together with the same forklifts that manage the wheels today. Together with our instructor at Kalmar Industries we developed a requirement specification and from that we got free hands.However this was not the main task from the beginning, then a simular hoist should be develop but used directly in the assembly workshop without using a forklift.We started to find principle solutions that later was evaluated against the requirement specification.

This Thesis is performed in cooperation with Kalmar Industries in Lidhult, Sweden. Theprojects main purpose was to develop a draft design of a test equipment. The equipmentwill simulate and valuate the drive-train and brakes at Kalmar?s bigger forklifts.The equipment will be designed so the wheels of the forklift are placed on two rollers;these absorb and affect the forklifts brake- and driving force. With this characteristic anup- and downhill can be simulated.

In order to use the benefits of the model, investment in equipment and software is required. This means higher costs for the companies.

This thesis for the Master of Science degree was performed at Oppunda Electronics AB. The assignment was to further develop an existing prototype of a dispensing equipment. The dispensing equipment doses a kind of glue, bonding which dentist use to mend teeth. The dispensing equipment is adjusted to dose 12 micro litres of bonding. With the dispensing equipment SafeBond Electronic the user can reduce the bonding consumption with approximately 50 percent.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.

Detta examensarbete genomfördes i samarbete med m4solutions AB, Halmstad, och Volvo Buses AB, Göteborg.Då Volvo önskar att minska totalkostnaden för tillverkning av luftintag, utan nedsatt prestanda som konsekvens, krävs undersökningar om hur väl dagens intag fungerar och vad som kan förbättras, samt planering av utvecklingsarbetet. För att underlätta för kommande förbättringsarbete har detta examensarbete undersökt vilket underlag och vilka kompetenser som krävs för att genomföra detta arbete. Resultatet av denna undersökning är en instruktion fylld med redskap och information vilket skall stöda Volvo Buses AB vid kommande arbetet att optimera luftintaget. Eftersom Volvo AB ingår i fordonsbranschen är det lämpligt att forma vår instruktion utefter ISO/TS 16949:2009 standarden, för produktutveckling inom fordonsindustrin, och Volvo?s egna metodik, Global Development Process, för produktutveckling. Studien innefattar flödessimuleringar, marknadsundersökningar och kriterieframtagning, samt analyser och utvärdering av samtlig tillgänglig information. Tillsammans gav detta en övergripande bild över luftintagets funktionalitet och prestanda, vilket i sin tur belyser vilka aktiviteter som är nödvändiga att föreslå i den slutgiltiga instruktionen..

This report is on concrete work during the winter and is implemented on Peab?s behalf. The assignment was to describe the differences between a summer- and a winter casting. While it shows the complications that exists, it also show what aids are available, both electronic via computer and physical aids.The information that I have developed is originally from theory in books, information on the internet as well as practical experience from knowledgeable people that works in construction output. Other theories are those I have learned throughout the education to become a construction engineer, including all oral sources over the years.The results I have come up with, I hope will be able to help future construction projects in the planning phase of a winter casting.

GPS is perhaps the future in agriculture. The next years will show it but the precision becomes only better and better and the number of users becomes only more and more. This work shows experiences from today's users and how the profitability can be improved on a farm with normal plant cultivation. The aim is to show how big the actual advantage can be to have a GPS and how good precision there is with the equipment. John Deere and Trimble are the big producers of GPS equipment to the agriculture.
