Purpose: The purpose of this study has been to identify different actors and processes in music recording. We find this interesting since there have been a lot of changes in the music industry over the last years. Our ambition has been to point out different actors and their roles during the advent of recorded music, and identify different features and processes in the creation of music today and in the future. To fulfill our purpose we have had the following research question: What characterize, in a future perspective, the gathered process during the creation of recorded music from idea to delivery and experience?Method: We have used a qualitative approach for this study and we have conducted seven interviews with persons from different areas of the Music Industry and radio.

Det kunskapssamhälle som råder idag medför att organisationer måste rusta sig och hålla ett högt tempo i den förändringsbenägna omvärlden. Kunskap och lärande ses däremellan som nyckelaktiviteter i relation till förändring vilket i sin tur föder innovation. Forskning har påvisat att småföretag förväntas bidra till en större del av näringslivets tillväxt, men att småföretagen samtidigt har behov av att höja sin innovationskapacitet för att möta utmaningen. Studien avsåg därför att utforska småföretag i extern samverkan för att se huruvida ett sådant kunskapsutbyte skapat förutsättningar för innovation hos den egna organisationen. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ forskningsmetodik undersöktes sex småföretagsledare som deltagit i det lärande nätverket, Tillväxtmotorn, via semistrukturerade intervjuer.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur användningen av bemanningsföretag ser ut i två stora företag i livsmedelsbranschen samt varför dessa företag använder sig av inhyrd arbetskraft. En bakgrund med information om bemanningsbranschen presenteras för att ge läsaren en inblick i ämnet. Uppsatsen är baserad på en litteraturstudie och en kvalitativ undersökning i form två intervjuer som komplement. Empirin har analyserats med hjälp av teorin och genom studien har vi kommit fram till att de två livsmedelsföretagen använder sig av olika bemanningsföretag beroende på vad de levererar i relation till pris samt hur kommunikation med bemanningsföretagen fungerar. Slutsatser är att de mest förekommande anledningarna till att företagen använder sig av bemanningsföretag är snabbhet och flexibilitet.

The goal of this Masters thesis is to examine how people at the production department of Arkivator Falköping AB perceive the internal organisational communication transfer and exchange of information, by means of a communication audit. The objectives are also to characterise the communication climate and the respondents satisfaction with the internal organisational communication within the organisation. The results of the study are compared with the companys information policy and with previous research in organisational communication. Answers from different demographic groups within the population are compared. The communication audit was conducted using a modified and added version of a questionnaire originally compiled by the International Communications Association.

In order to make take-off and landing procedures possible at an airport, an organized allo- cation of slots is necessary. How these slots shall be distributed among airlines is, at pre- sent, governed by the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EEC) No 95/93 of 18 Janu- ary 1993 on common rules for the allocation of slots at Community airports. It is important for the air- lines to be allocated a beneficial slot. Hence it is of great interest for the airlines to ex- change and transfer the allocated times among themselves, a form of secondary market. Whether such practices are allowed or not is not regulated by specific detail in the regula- tion, which leads to legal uncertainty.

Internet is the future and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is growing in use. Companies are starting to realise the benefits with VoIP. Skype is the number one soft phone on the market but it doesn't satisfy the needs of companies (e.g. transfer calls, redirects calls and so forth) and leaves therefore a gap. The purpose of this master thesis is to provide Objektor AB (thesis initiator) with tips on how to design a usable soft phone that they know is based on relevant human computer interaction research.The method used in the thesis has been iterative development.

This thesis presents a method of making repairs in log houses. The purpose of the thesis is to use this method to exemplify crafters practical intellect. The method is based on the use of a template board to transfer the measurements onto the new log. There is a dearth of literature dealing with timber repairs, and the literature regarding using a template board for this is non-existent. The description of this method has therefore been compiled from interviews with active timber crafters.

Optioner är värdepapper som ger innehavaren rätten, men inte skyldigheten, att sälja eller att köpa den underliggande tillgången inom en given tidsram och till ett givet pris. Vanligen särskiljs det mellan aktieoptioner och indexoptioner. Fokus i uppsatsen ligger på OMXS30 indexoptioner från år 2006. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om den implicita volatiliteten enligt Black-Scholes formeln bättre predikterar den framtida faktiska volatiliteten än den historiska volatiliteten. I tidigare studier, bland annat i en sammanfattande studie av Figlewski (1997), har resultaten varit tvetydiga.

Detta examensarbete har utförts hos Norrskog Wood Products AB (NWP AB) som omfattar fyra sågverk och tre hyvlerier i mellannorrland. NWP AB bildades 2004 när Skogsägare-föreningen Norrskog köpte Camforegruppen i Jämtland och fusionerade den med sitt tidigare helägda sågverk SAEF AB (Östavallsågen). Vid årsskiftet 05/06 förvärvades det tredje hyvleriet som ligger i Forsa utanför Hudiksvall. I dagsläget när företaget fortfarande är relativt ungt sker det mesta av transportplanering och fraktbokningen vid varje enhet och man gör som man tidigare har gjort. Syftet med examens-arbetet är att för en bestämd period, 2005-01-01 till 2005-05-31, kartlägga transporter och kostnader från industri till kund för hela NWP AB.

This thesis examines the reasons behind the Swedish migration policy reform which led to a replacement of the Aliens Appeal Board by the Migration Court. This introduced a two-party procedure, oral hearings and enhanced transparency. It was designed to guarantee the rule of law and to thwart political arbitrariness.The transfer of power from representative institutions to judiciaries is referred to as judicialization, and the Migration Courts may be considered a typical example of this phenomenon. However, this can be questioned. The straggling nature of the term implies everything and anything unless cautiously defined.

Vardagsrummet kan anses som hemmets hjärta. Det är för många samlingsplatsen för familj och vänner. Det är här vi umgås, tittar på tv, äter och spelar spel tillsammans. På grund av bostadsbrist bor många av oss på mindre ytor och hemmet krymper. Jag har valt att joba med Trästad 2012:s projekt "Bra bostäder för småhushåll till rimligt pris" som tittar på bland annat bostadsbristen och levnadsstandarden.

The society strives for sustainable development, in the construction industry it is expressed through sustainable building. Energy and LCC analyzes increases the ability to make conscious decisions in the process. A problem in the construction industry is that energy and LCC analysis is not used to the desired extent, as they are perceived as complicated and time consuming. The report aims to achieve a more sustainable building through increased use of energy and LCC analyzes.The goal is to show how BIM can be used to improve the efficiency of the energy and LCC analyzes.The study was conducted with a literature review and a case study to answer which information that is required in a BIM model to perform energy and LCC analyzes. The study also shows which software can be used in BIM based energy and LCC analyzes and how the analyzes can be carried out efficiently.The result shows that effective analyzes may be performed if the BIM-model contains the relevant information for making analyzes.

Studien syftar till att bidra med kunskaper om ledares upplevelser av att överföra lärande från ledarskapsutbildningar till det dagliga arbetet, men också att bidra till en ökad förståelse för vilka organisatoriska faktorer som kan förklara dessa upplevelser, och vilken påverkan dessa faktorer har på lärandeöverföringen. Åtta stycken undersökningspersoner har intervjuats. Intervjudata har analyserats och diskuterats kvalitativt i relation till teorier och forskning inom lärandeöverföring. Ledarna upplever generellt det som svårt att konkret beskriva hur och när lärandet utövas i arbetsvardagen, brist på handlings- och interaktionsutrymme, liksom brist på intresse, återkoppling och stöd från främst överordnade. Generellt upplevs att lärd kompetens, självförtroende och drivkraft att använda det ledarskap som lärts avtar.

The purpose of this thesis is to study and determine how working in cross functional teams can generate value in an effort to facilitate innovation. An inductive scientific perspective is chosen as the research approach. A single case is investigated with the theoretical framework based on Resource Based View, Intellectual Capital, Innovation theory and theories concerning Cross Functional Teams. The empirical material has been collected through primary data; surveys, interviews and secondary data; literature, websites and further complementary data. The practice of using Cross Functional Teams will enhance organizational learning, knowledge transfer, increase communication and innovation, which in turn will increase the speed and performance of the new product development process.

Kunskapsöverföring har visat sig vara problematiskt i projektorganisationer på grund av projektens tydliga avgränsningar. Byggbranschen är en projektorganiserad bransch som av olika anledningar har problem med kunskapsöverföring mellan projekt. Vi finner det därför intressant att undersöka kunskapsöverföring mellan projekt i byggbranschen. Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur faktorer gällande kultur och struktur påverkar kunskapsöverföring mellan projekt i byggföretag samt om och hur dessa faktorer skiljer sig mellan traditionella projekt och partneringprojekt. För att uppfylla syftet och besvara forskningsfrågorna har en fallstudie med personliga intervjuer genomförts vid byggföretaget NCC i Luleå.
