This essay tries, in different levels, to explain and create a deeper understanding for the phenomena ?private security companies?. By using Mary Kaldors theory about new wars, I will come to the conclusion that the insecurity that these wars create is an important part in understanding the emergence of a security need that these private security companies can provide. Later I investigate and explain howthe neoliberal privatization policy that is spreading through the world today has laid ground for development of the private security industry. When I have answered these questions I analyze how the private security companies can affect the state, war and peace both positively and negatively.

(1) Hur ofta använder sig spelare av idrottspsykologiska färdigheter? (2) Hur ofta uppmuntrar tränarna spelarna att använda idrottspsykologiska färdigheter? (3) Finns det ett samband mellan tränarens uppmuntran av idrottspsykologiska färdigheter vid träning och match, samt hur ofta spelarna använder dem? (4) Finns det ett samband mellan hur ofta spelarna använder idrottspsykologiska färdigheter vid träning och match, samt med deras självförtroende?MetodUrvalet bestod av 122 ishockey- och 89 handbollsspelare som hade en medelålder på 16,9 år samt 8 ishockey- och 6 handbollstränare som hade en medelåldern på 39,2 år. Respondenterna som alla var manliga besvarade enkäterna Test of Performance Strategies (Hardy, Roberts, Thomas & Murphy 2010; Thomas, Murphy & Hardy 1999) som undersöker hur ofta idrottare använder idrottspsykologiska färdigheter vid träning och match, samt Trait Sport Confidence Inventory (Vealey 1986) som undersöker självförtroendet hos idrottare.ResultatResultaten visade att både spelare och tränare använde idrottspsykologiska färdigheter oftare vid match än träning. Ishockeyspelarna och tränarna hade mer erfarenhet av idrottspsykologi och använde också färdigheter oftare än handbollsspelarna och tränarna.

This academic essay explores the possibilities to knowledge of God in the thought of Thomas Aquinas. The essay takes its departure from question 12 in the Summa Theologiae, specifically articles 12 and 13 that deal with natural knowledge of God and supernatural knowledge, respectively. It also presents objections made by modern philosophers against these ways of knowledge along with a rebuttal of these objections. Lastly, a conclusion is offered and ends with a reflection on how Aquinas' teaching on human knowledge of God in earthly existence compares with his teaching on the knowledge human beings will have in heaven and what consequences that has for our present knowledge..

This Thesis in Military Technology deals with experiences drawn from the forced introduction of Weapons Station 01, 2009. The work aims to identify the experiences regarding the forced procurement of military equipment to see how they can develop normal and fast procurement of equipment. This project report describes a supplement for character creation in a tabletop role-playing game ?Dragons and Demons." The purpose of this project is to improve the character creation for the players? trough the narrative elements such as character?s background story. The applied qualitative methods such as a test panel and a questionnaire were conducted for the evaluation of theories used during character creation and to get feedback on the supplement?s creative value for the players. The aim of the questionnaire was to see how the method for the character creation differs from the regular way of making a character for a tabletop role-playing game and if this idea improves user experience during the tabletop role-playing game.The results of the evaluation are based on answers from novice and experienced players, and conclude that the additional background story creates an insight into the character's past, which makes it easier for novice players to get quick started with character creation.

Method: Qualitative Grounded theory method, categorizing secondary facts in order to get the complete picture. Results: The market for private health care will increase by a possibly new Government.

Background: Today, the environment of a company is characterized by quick changes like leaps of technology and market shifts. The problem is how this turbulent environment and an uncertain future affect how a company creates strategies and how its structure is adapted. Can a certain choice of strategies or a certain structure be a way of dealing with an changing environment? Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to explore if and how Banverket Telenät, as an example of a company in a turbulent business like the Swedish telecom industry, tries to deal with an uncertain future through strategy and structure. Procedure: We have carried through a qualitative case study with interviews and gathering of additional information concerning the business.

The state of our society is frequently changing. Due to various factors, the pressure of creating a changeable city is high and necessary to adequately supply the needs for its inhabitants. But making these changes and adapt to the fast shifting state of the city is not always physical possible. Young adults and students is a group that often seeks to move to intensely growing city regions. The reason for this is a more promising job market and more attractive educations, but coincidentally the shortage of housing is extremely high in these areas.

Background: Internet is a new phenomenon; small companies have only used Internet a couple of years. Internet created a lot of new possibilities for the companies. Internet is a new marketing and communication channel for the company. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine how small companies can use Internet as a strategic tool. Another purpose of this thesis is to generate a better understanding of the application of Internet in small companies.

Vi är två yrkeslärare som gjort en studie om ämnesövergripande undervisning på våra respektive skolor i våra respektive hemkommuner. Vi som gjort undersökningen är Thomas Wenström och Eeva Määttä som är under utbildning till yrkeslärare. Eeva har jobbat på el- och energiprogrammet sedan 2004. Thomas har jobbat på Industritekniska programmet sedan 2009. Studien är utförd som en empirisk undersökning med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer för att få lärares och skolledares syn på ämnesintegrering och ämnesövergripande undervisning .

Syftet med min uppsats är att beskriva hur barn uppfattar alkohol i vardagslivet och hur deras föräldrar tänker kring ämnet. Jag har intervjuat fyra barn och fyra föräldrar för att se hur barn uppfattar alkohol och hur de socialiseras in i vuxnas tankar kring alkohol. Jag har använt mig utav kvalitativ och fenomenografisk metod, samt Alfred Schutz, Peter L. Bergers, Thomas Luckmanns och George Herbert Meads teorier och begrepp för att analysera mitt material. Mitt resultat visade att barnen uppfattade alkohol negativt och med en viss oro och rädsla.

The purpose of this study was to describe experiences in daily social life of parents of children with psychotic illness. Five parents with long-term experience of psychotic illness have been interviewed. The frame of reference in emotion theories of Thomas Scheff and Randall Collins have been used to analyze the results. The study is qualitative and has a phenomenological approach to shed lights of meanings in daily social life. The following meanings was found: Openness with certain reservation shows that honesty is important for the feeling of solidarity, Social expectations in daily life describes the parents´own expectations as well as expectations from others.
