Abstract This paper seeks to answer how well the unit managers in a community live up to its responsibility for rehabilitation. What opportunities and obstacles center managers feel that they have in the rehabilitation process and their expertise in rehabilitation are adequate. The essay is based on qualitative, in which six interviews were conducted to help capture the Heads of Unit subjective experiences. Five of the respondents are heads of units in the elderly, and an interview with the rehabilitation coordinator of the municipality. Respondents' comments and relevant literature form the basis for this essay.

This study is about relocated students in the school. Research in this area is limited and the aim is to illuminate the area by listening to different people's voices that have been close to or involved in relocations. The study was made of a qualitative method and the collection of data was through interviews. A total of eight people were included in the study. The selected municipality is located in Sweden.

This study focuses on trying to understand the attitudes of people born in the 1940?s concerning their view on social media. This 1940?s group has been growing on the social networks such as Facebook, but their usage is not active. Therefore, the purpose of this report is to understand in what way they are affected by the using of these platforms.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att intervjua ungdomar som har en utländsk bakgrund, tjejer och killar i 18-års ålder på en gymnasieskola i Malmö. Vi vill studera hur de tänker, resonerar och förhåller sig kring frågor som har med sexualitet och intima relationer att göra. Detta genomfördes med en kvalitativstudie och den grundas på sju ungdomar. För att analysera vår empiri har vi använt oss av sociologen Anthony Giddens perspektiv på den moderna synen på sexualitet och kärleksideologin. Sedan även av Nader Ahmadi som diskuterar föräldrarnas svårigheter till att komma till en ny omgivning och möta en ny attityd till sex och Pierre Bourdieu begrepp, habitus.

To start a company on the Internet is something that has appealed a lot of people during the last couple of years. Some of the companies have succeeded in their struggle but a lot of companies have failed to live out their ambition. This paper deals with the concept of e-commerce and aims to study whether or not the companies that has succeeded has made use of business models and what other factors that is important that you wont find in any written theory.The paper also aims to study the concept of business models and what a business model consists of. To be able to do this research we have interviewed three different companies that are all active in e-commerce and have survived for at least three years. Two of the companies are classical web shops that sell products to their customers and the last one is a site with articles about hardware and IT business in general.

The aim of this qualitative study was to examine six individuals' experiences to talk about the sexual abuse that occurred in their childhood. We interviewed five women and one man, using a phenomenological approach during the work process. The theories emerged as we analyzed our results and appeared to be communication, cognitive theory, validation, trauma theory and taboo. The results showed that the respondents, whom disclosed the abuse as children, were most likely to get a negative response from both formal and informal support systems. While as adults they were confirmed to a greater extent and therefore achieved a better physical and mental wellbeing.

I detta arbete analyseras och diskuteras intervjuer med blivande gymnasielärare i svenska och med en lärarutbildare vid ett universitet. Arbetet ger en översikt över tidigare forskning om litterär kanon i den svenska gymnasieskolan. Litterär kanon bygger på texturval som är ett resultat av ämnesteoretisk kunskap, men också av undervisande lärares habitus, didaktisk-metodiska handlingskompetens eller frånvaro av sådan, rutinisering samt didaktisk reduktion och iscensättning. Denna reproduktion ställs sedan inför legitimitetsproblem. Dessa begrepp används för att diskutera det empiriska resultatet av detta arbete.

This paper addresses the question about what role typography plays in the interpretation of a text. From three different handbooks in typography arguments are gathered and categorized in to three categories: roman types, san serif and others. Interviews with people from the graphic design area are also a part of the paper and are accounted for in the discussion part of the paper. Areas of theory are a broad hermeneutic view based on Hans-Georg Gadamers thoughts, which have sub categories such as: Michel Foucault?s theory about discourses, John Swales genre theory and Anders Björkvall?s thoughts on typography and multi-modal texts.

Efter Andra Världskriget och författandet samt ratificerandet av den traditionella folkrätten har huvuddelen av de väpnade sammandrabbningarna haft karaktären av icke-internationella konflikter med en asymmetrisk uppsättning aktörer. Samtidigt har den värst drabbade aktören kommit att vara civilbefolkningen.Syftet med denna uppsats är att problematisera skyddet av civilbefolkningen i den nya tidens konflikter.I uppsatsen genomförs en kvalitativ textanalys av Säkerhetsrådets resolutioner och missionsspecifika strategier för skydd av civila i de tre FN-missionerna UNMIS, UNAMID och MONUC. Resultatet av analysen problematiseras därefter utifrån van Crevelds non-trinitarian theory för att undersöka vilka problem det finns med att tillämpa det traditionella folkrättsliga skyddet av civila i nya tidens konflikter.Det sammanvägda resultatet av studien visar att det finns problem med att tillämpa det traditionella folkrättsliga skyddet av civila i nya tidens konflikter, och att ett av huvudproblemen är att skyddet endast tycks adresseras av världssamfundet..

Bakgrunden till denna studie är att det finns inte finns någon direkt forskning kring unga flickors (7-9 år) socialisering in i den manliga normen inom idrotten. Syftet med studien är att beskriva och förstå fotbollens betydelse för unga flickors socialisering in i en idrott styrd av manliga normer. Utifrån teorierna könssocialisation, Bourdieus symboliskt våld och Habitus samt Connells maskulinitetsteori, genomfördes studien på två stycken flickfotbollslag och deras ledare. Det genomfördes sammanlagt fem observationer och sex stycken gruppintervjuer. Resultatet har bearbetats utifrån Hermeneutiken.

The main purpose of this masters thesis is to investigate how male public librarians experience working in a female-dominated area by interviewing eight male public librarians. We want to find if our informants have experienced, or are experiencing, that the library users react differently to the male librarians, as opposed to the female librarians, with focus on possible prejudices. Besides this we want to investigate if the male librarians have had any reactions from their colleagues based on the fact that they are men working in a female profession. We are using three theories in this thesis. The first theory is based on an article by Christine L.

This paper treats the question about how the internationally established company, Apple, is affected by intern or extern events when it comes to the trade market. The purpose of the study is to investigate if chosen events create abnormal return on Apples stock market. The chosen research area is Steve Jobs three sick-listings, It-bubble and the purchase of the search engine company Siri. The reason of writing about this is the big interest for the stock market and its function.This study methodological starting position is quantitative done by an event study, with qualitative feature done by an interview with an expertise within this area. When analyzing the empirics, we have used the efficient market theory that says that information should not affect the stock market in the degree that abnormal return creates.

Syftet med undersökningen är att belysa förskollärares syn på snedrekrytering och förskolans möjlighet att bidra till att förebygga sådan snedrekrytering. Denna undersökning är en delutvärdering av ett projekt ?att skapa framtidsdrömmar?. Utvärderingen tar upp hur förskollärare tänker om projektet och hur detta har påverkat barnen och dem själva i arbetet men också hur förskollärarna kan arbeta för att på lång sikt bidra till att förebygga snedrekrytering. Det teoretiska perspektivet i samband med social, kulturell och individuell snedrekrytering bygger på Bourdieus grundtankar om kapital, habitus och fält.

The purpose with our thesis is to understand and explain the advantages and disadvantages there is with the self scanning system. The advantages and disadvantages we will highlight from three different angels; the store management perspective, the staff perspective and the customer perspective. These three perspectives will together form an overall perspective over the advantages and disadvantages as the self scanning system has contributed with. Finally we will highlight the differences and resemblances we have found between the perspectives.Through a qualitative approach we have gathered data to our thesis. Furthermore we have based our theory chapter and our empirical chapter on the base of Grounded Theory.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur vuxna individers erfarenhet av att ha en förälder med diabetes typ-2 påverkat deras sätt att tänka och se på sin hälsa och livsstil. För att besvara studiens syfte genomfördes en kvalitativ undersökning baserad på intervjuer med fem respondenter. De teorier som användes vid analys av resultatet var Pierre Bourdiues teori om habitus och kapital, Berger & Luckmanns teori om primär och sekundär socialisation samt The Health Belief Model. I resultatet framkom bland annat att både hälsosamma och ohälsosamma vanor från uppväxten kunde ha en viss inverkan på respondenterna beteenden även som vuxna. Erfarenheten av att ha en förälder med diabetes typ-2 kunde även det ha viss inverkan på hur de uppfattade risken att själv bli sjuk i framtiden.
