The overall aim with this study is to elucidate outdoor education as an education method and on the basis of that illustration to examine active educators vision on it as a way to motivate students' learning. This study is based on a literature component and a qualitative study through interviews five teachers.The results of the interviews show how to interpret the motivation and how to work with students' motivation. As well as outdoor education as part of the activity.  The interviews show the importance of outdoor education can be to increase students'motivation for learning. They also show the importance of outdoor education is for student learning and test scores have shown the effectiveness of student learning through outdoor education.

I interventionsstudien var vårt syfte att undersöka om det finns ett samband mellan intensiv läsundervisning och ordavkodningen hos elever som har en långsam och osäker läsning. Vi genomförde tre läsrelaterade tester på 29 elever i årskurs 2 för att kartlägga deras ordavkodningsförmåga. Utifrån resultaten gjorde vi ett urval av fyra elever som vi kallade försöksgrupp. Dessa fick en-till-en-undervisning i olika ordavkodningsstrategier under fyra veckor vid 16 tillfällen, varje gång i 25-30 minuter. Vår undervisningsmodell inriktade sig mot fonologisk, morfologisk, syntaktisk och semantisk lästräning.

Tryckkvalitet för tryck med inkjetteknik kan kvantifieras på en rad olika sätt, bland de viktigaste är färgåtergivning och skärpa. STFI InkJet Test utvärderar just dessa. Frågan är om denna mätmetod korrelerar med den visuella upplevelsen. Syftet med studien var att finna vilka samband som råder mellan tryckkvalitet som uppmäts med instrument och den subjektiva tryckkvalitet som uppfattas av det mänskliga ögat. Stabilization of subgrade is an internationally common technique to improve the characteristics of a soft soil. Improving the stiffness and bearing capacity of the subgrade enables the pavement to be designed with reduced depths of subbase and basecourse aggregates. This makes the stabilization technique both economically and environmentally interesting. Both natural and stabilized soils have high inherent property variability that should be considered when the characteristic value is derived. By analyzing the spatial variability in stabilized and natural subgrades it is possible get the parameters needed for reliability?based modeling of soil properties.

Upprepad testning vid inlärning förstärker långtidsminnet. Fenomenet är även känt som testeffekten (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006). Huvudsyftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka testeffekten och jämföra den med inlärningseffekter av gruppdiskussioner. Andra syften var att undersöka om inlärning påverkades av individuella skillnader samt av testfrågornas komplexitet. Experiment genomfördes under fyra tillfällen och sammanlagt tolv studenter medverkade.

The Swedish Transport Agency has for a long time collected data on a monthly basis for different variables that are used to make predictions, short projections as well as longer projections. They have used SAS for producing statistical models in air transport. The model with the largest value of coefficient of determination is the method that has been used for a long time. The Swedish Transport Agency felt it was time for an evaluation of their models and methods of how projections is estimated, they would also explore the possibilities to use different, completely new models for forecasting air travel. This Bachelor thesis examines how the Holt-Winters method does compare with SARIMA, error terms such as RMSE, MAPE, R2, AIC and BIC  will be compared between the methods. The results which have been produced showing that there may be a risk that the Holt-Winters models adepts a bit too well in a few variables in which Holt-Winters method has been adapted.

Food record is a method that can be used to examine and evaluate if an individual is getting sufficient nutrition and energy to cover the daily needs. For those suffering from malnutrition it is recommended to eat energy and protein enriched diet.AimsThe aim is to compare the intake of energy and macronutrients in a group of elderly people living in a nursing home in southern Sweden before and after the introduction of an energy and protein enriched diet based on newly developed recipes.MethodsFood record was made during four days. Food record means that everything that is consumed by an individual is noted precisely.

Arbetet har utförts på Ejendals AB i Leksand. Syftet var att ta reda på vilken inverkan stötdämpning i skor har på användaren och hur man ska anpassa stötdämpningen efter användaren. Genom intervjuer, enkäter och litteratur har kunskap om ämnet samlats in. I nästa steg genomfördes ett test på Clas Ohlsons centrallager i Insjön. 21 personer fick testa ett antal olika skor från Ejendals sortiment.
