Friskvård i ett diskursperspektiv

The term ?health maintenance? was introduced in the 1960?s. A common conception nowadays is that health maintenance is always beneficial. Gestaldo (1997) meant that health education on one hand could give the individual a feeling of autonomy, but on the other hand also put the individual in an inferior position where the Teacher represented ?the truth?.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how Teachers view the way they build their relationships towards students, both in general and, more specifically, towards those students with some type of attention deficits. The focus of this thesis has been on how great an importance Teachers place on this relationship. Especially when it comes to working with students with attention deficits. We also want to know to which extent this relational perspective is rooted in Teachers' practice. The theoretical basis of this study is the relational perspective formulated by Aspelin and Persson (2011).

Utveckling av omrörningsenhet

The use of technology in today's society is frequent and often necessary, but how, when and where are we supposed to learn how to use it? And if it is such a big and important part of our society, then why don?t Teachers get more training in how to use the technology? The purpose of this paper is to examine whether Teachers attitudes to technology affects their use of technology in their teaching. In school technology can be a complementary to other material, if Teachers have the necessary skills to use technology in a pedagogical way. I have chosen to do a qualitative study in form of interviews and observations at a school outside of Stockholm. The results show that both school and Teachers must want to work with technology if anyone will be getting something out of it.

This is an essay concerning the differences between boys? and girls? way of learning and how this difference influences the teaching in the technology subject. The method is divided in two. The first part is based on a survey over literature about teaching girls and boys in the technology subject. The second part is based on interviews with three male Teachers in the same subject.

CIRKUS I GRUNDSKOLA OCH GRUNDSÄRSKOLA - samspel, omgivningsfaktorer och relevanta krav i en träningssituation

This study looked at two groups of adolescents aged 12-17 years who had participated in circus training. One group had some form of disability while the other had none. The study was carried out as a qualitative study with observations, interviews and a questionnaire used as methods of gathering data. A small part of the study was quantitative and an observation chart was used. The purpose was to examine the importance of teamwork, environmental factors and the necessary requirements during a learning situation.

Läraren och tjänstemannauppdraget : En studie om lärarstudenters syn på sina framtida tjänstemannauppdrag

The aim of this essay is to examine how future upper secondary school Teachers within social science comprehends their future proffessional role. The aim is also to see whether the education is of importance to their suspension for their future professional role. Focus will especially be on the Teachers civil servant role, where the aim is to see how their identification suspends to the governmental expectations on their future civil servant misson. The essay is based on a qualitative method, which is focused conversational interviews.The result indicates that future upper secondary school Teachers within social science, who are about to finish their education, have a somewhat deeper sense of identification with the Teachers civil servant mission compared to those in the beginning of their education. The result also indicates that the future upper secondary school Teachers identification are in line with the governmental expectations on their civil servant mission.

Lärplattan i förskolan : En studie om några förskollärares syn på lärplattan i förskolan

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka lärarens arbete med lärplattor i förskolan. Studien har tre frågeställningar; 1) Hur beskriver förskollärarna sin syn på lärplattan som pedagogiskt verktyg? 2) Hur beskriver förskollärarna sitt arbete med lärplattan? 3) Hur beskriver förskollärarna lärplattans tillgänglighet för alla barn? Studien genomfördes på en förskola i Mellansverige. Intervjuer med fyra förskollärare genomfördes. Intervjuerna utfördes med en semistrukturerad design; en intervjuform där det finns goda möjligheter anpassa intervjun efter respondenten.

"Det finns inget bättre än en lärare som verkligen bryr sig om dig" : En studie om vad som gör gymnasieelever studiemotiverade ur elevens perspektiv

My purpose for this essay is to examine what factors are considered to have high influence on motivation to study and what measures can be taken to enhance student?s motivation to study from a student perspective. The main source of theory for this study has been the classification of motivational factors that has been based on Herzberg?s twofactortheory with complementary theoretical sources. The study is based around two research methods, one survey together with complementary student interviews. The empirical material consists of 118 completed surveys together with nine student interviews. The study?s results have found that students find the main source of rising motivational level originates from the professional role of the Teacher. Additionally the students find the main source of subsiding motivational level originate from rising level of stress and uninspiring Teachers.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine Teachers? perception of communication in the Mathematics lesson. I wanted to find out how Teachers look at communication as a didactic manner and how they view their role in encouraging communication and discussion during the Mathematics lesson and what communication can contribute to students? learning in Mathematics, according to their beliefs. I have chosen a qualitative approach; I have interviewed six Mathematics Teachers working in three different schools.

The purpose of this study is that, based on expertise in special education tutoring, examine the degree of supervision demanded by Teachers in primary schools. As a result of this study, we can see the views Teachers have regarding guidance within the following issues: the demand for tutoring, the importance of conversation and reflection, and guidance from the specialist Teacher.Since the study deals with phenomena of a qualitative nature, we use semi-structured interviews in the empirical part of trying to understand the informants' way of looking at the phenomenon we are investigating. The study included interviews with six Teachers in the elementary school year?s 1-3. The results show that there are more opportunities than obstacles to mentoring.

Entreprenöriellt lärande och entreprenörskap : En studie av hur naturbrukslärare upplever undervisningssättet

This thesis deals with how natural resource Teachers in natural resource schools in Sweden work with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. It is important both for our Government and our agricultural department that entrepreneurship is present in our education. In government´s new reform 2011 for upper secondary schools entrepreneurship is the main theme, but it is not only entrepreneurship as a business company, it is also about entrepreneurship in schools like entrepreneurial capabilities in government´s writ. The purpose of this study is to examine how a number of Teachers in natural resource schools are working with entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurship. I have also asked how the Teachers would like to work with these areas.The method I have chosen to use in order to perform this study is qualitative interviews with six natural resource Teachers and a pilote interview.The Teachers I interviewed are working to provide students with self-knowledge and teaches students to see possibilities and solve problems, which is required for us to create entrepreneurial students and entrepreneurship in education. This is also stressed in several of the literary sources I used..

En för alla och alla för en : En jämförande studie mellan traditionellt grupparbete och kooperativt lärande

This is a comparative study between traditional group work and cooperative learning among 9 graders at a Swedish high school. The classes did an assignment that involved translating and then both students and Teachers answered a questionnaire. An example of how profitable cooperative learning is is the fact that the speech activity was more equal in the cooperative groups. All the students in the cooperative groups had to contribute to the assignment in order to fulfill the assignment. The reason for higher speech activity is the structure of cooperative learning, which involves roles suited for the assignment.

The purpose of this Master?s Thesis is to examine and describe how a wiki can be used in the information seeking education. We believe that the preconditions for education and learning are changing; technology and Internet has introduced new tools for the learning situation. To examine this we will describe how the wiki technology can be used in the information seeking education, describe how the goals of the information seeking education are reached when using a wiki and lastly investigate the school librarian?s pedagogical role in wiki-based education.

This study deals with Teachers ideas about the physical environment of a mobile preschool and how it affects children?s learning. The essay describes how the preschool bus is decorated and how a normal day works in the mobile bus. The survey was based on the following questions:Are there disadvantages and advantages in terms of physical environment in the mobile preschool from an educator based perspective?What are the Teacher?s thoughts about the impact on children?s learning in terms of the physical environment on the bus?Summary: To answer my questions I have participated in activities during the day and I have used the interviews to find out the Teachers thoughts.

In this examination paper I?m using the qualitative method: phenomenographic analysis to present twenty educated and working pre-school Teachers opinions about being outdoors in Swedish pre-school. The purpose is to describe the variation between different pre-school Teachers? opinions, not to focus on wrong or right.    The paper starts with a review over the opinions presented by the literature on the subject.
