En skola för alla? : en essä om hur vi förhåller oss gentemot barn som saknar de förutsättningar som den svenska skolan förväntar sig
In my essay the dilemmas originate from what I have experienced. I have observed myself and some of my colleagues, how we meet children who are lacking the qualifications which school and most pedagogues expect them to have. Focus, in my written experiences, is on children who live in poverty, but how we meet and act toward them is often quite the same independent of what qualifications they are lacking. With the support from literature and theories I reflect and analyse the dilemmas. Through essaywriting I investigate my practical knowledge and I examine how we as pedagogues handle the complex situations encounter when in school and how it is possible to understand why we act the way we do.I think that the knowledge which essaywriting gives me will strengthen me as a person and in my work as a Teacher for after-school-center.

The aim of the study is to examine factors influencing students? feelings of pleasure or pain associated with school mathematics. Own experience of students? frustration about mathematics and concern about students not reaching desired goals is the driving force in this study. It contributes with knowledge from the students' perspective.
Utomhuspedagogikens påverkan på barn med koncentrationssvårigheter : En intervjustudie ur förskollärarperspektiv
Children with concentration difficulties are to a great extent a problem in schools and therefore it becomes interesting to see how possibilities around these children can appear in pre-school. From a pre-school Teacher?s perspective, the study aims to provide a deeper understanding of how outdoor education can influence children with concentration difficulties. The method of the study is a qualitative research run-up with interviews that intends to describe pre-school Teachers? views.
IKT för elever med ADHD : Nytta eller nöje?
The aim with this study was to see how a few Teachers with experience of young students with ADHD looks upon the need of special support through ICT and from which perspective of special needs education the support is formed.I related the informants? answers about their views on special needs support based on a relational and categorical perspective and came to the conclusion that all of the informants uses a bit of both depending on each individual students needs. Therefor I could see that the dilemma perspective is current in schools today. The most important need for the students with ADHD in general is, according to the informants, structure and routine.The result from this study also shows that general knowledge about ICT is lacking and needs to increase. This could in most cases be explained by the schools economic resources as that partly prevent purchase of new and more equipment but also forces the school to keep larger groups of students in each class.
Gymnasieskolans fysikämne i ett historiskt perspektiv - The physics subject of the upper secondary school in a historical view
The purpose of this project is to examine the development of the upper secondary school physics course and from this get a better understanding why the course is organized the way it is today. The timeless argument for studying science in school will begin this essay. After that the reader will be aware of when important discoveries in physics were made. Then school history is presented. In this part we are told when the first school started in Sweden, but the focus lies on the upper secondary school and the physics course.
Vetenskapliga tidningsartiklar i klassrummet : En undersökning om lärares användning av tidningsartiklar
This paper presents why and how Teachers use newspaper articles in the classroom when they educate their pupils in chemistry, biology and nature science. All the Teachers have worked over 20 years and are, when interviewed, at a Swedish gymnasium in Dalarna. I also have, in a small study, interviewed some of their pupils to get their view about Teachers using news paper articles during lessons.The Teacher?s use of newspaper articles in the classroom can be divided in different ways. They can use the articles to illustrate up to date links to everyday life.
Koncentrationssvårigheter : En intervjustudie med lärare verksamma i skolår 4-6
Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine how Teachers in primary school reason about and problematize the phenomenon of concentration difficulties. I want to know what the Teachers think characterizes concentration difficulties, the situations in which difficulties creates the most problems, and whether the Teachers think that these difficulties solely depend on external factors. To examine this, I chose to do interviews with three Teachers in years four to six. I have completed parts of my work with my colleague Elin Preisz. We have used the same purpose and issues in our studies, although Elin has interviewed Teachers in preschool. With this we want to be able to compare the reasoning between Teachers at different stages in school. The results of my study shows that the interviewees think that it is hard to describe what characterizes the problems in concentration difficulties because the problems is very individual.
"Jag ser det som ett smörgåsbord" : En studie om två olika läs- och skrivutvecklingsmetoder
In this study I have compared two different development methods of reading and writing. I have done this by interviewing five first grade Teachers in elementary schools and it is based on qualitative research interviews. The aim of the study was to immerse myself in which methods these five Teachers describe that they have used. They got to describe how they work and how they have tought the students to read and write. I have investigated if the Teachers think that the computer is a good tool. The investigation also shows if the Teachers believe that the students´ writing skills deteriorate if they can use the keyboard instead. I came to the conclusion that four of the Teachers used Arne Trageton´s method (2005) which means that the students learn how to write by using to computer.

This Master?s thesis investigates user education at high school libraries. The aim of this study is to examine user education and the educational approach that librarian?s experience in their teaching. The method used for the study is qualitative interviews with seven high school librarians.
Hur bra är kulturskolans lokaler? : En undersökning om vad musik- och kulturskolans lärare anser om sina undervisningslokaler
The purpose of this dissertation is to examine how Teachers in the municipal Music schools Schools of arts (kulturskolor) estimate the quality of their teaching rooms, which factors that are significant for their opinion, and if they have experienced any tendencies of improvement in the quality of their teaching rooms. The examination is built on a questionnaire, which was sent to a number of music- and ?culture schools? in Sweden. From the answers you can read that the majority (66%) of the Teachers are satisfied with their teaching rooms, even if a relatively large part (33%) seems to be unsatisfied. The single factor that are of most importance for their opinion are how much of their teaching they spend in rooms that doesn?t belong to the music- or ?culture school? and also are used for other kinds of education.
Utvecklingssamtal - utifrån elevens perspektiv
My aim with this diploma work is to find out if the students consider development deliberations as a good forum in order to promote their knowledge development or not. I have also examined if the development deliberation is experienced as giving for the pupil or not, what I have been studying from the pupil's perspectives.MethodI have implemented three qualitative interviews with three students from class nine in a compulsory education that lies in Botkyrka municipality. There, I have also an implemented questionnaire survey with two half classes from same class.Materials To my study I have linked literature where research aims himself in on how Teachers have worked with development deliberations in the school.Results Students that I have interviewed does consider development deliberations as a knowledgep romoting forum, but most as a forum for clear about study results. The students in the survey consider development deliberations as giving only when the result turns out to bee good.Importance for Teachers As each development deliberation is unique, you can not come to a certain implication that all deliberations are experienced in the same way as the result shows. But that can last stakeholder for the Teacher is to see how one development deliberation can to be experienced of several students.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to investigate the views Swedish elementary school Teachers produce on the subject of ethics. The Teachers? thoughts on selection among ethical notions is described and also how these notions are assessed. The essay proceeds from the central content and the knowledge requirement in the syllabus of religious knowledge.The empirical survey is based on qualitative scientific interviews with four Teachers employed in grades 4-6 at different schools.The Teachers find ethics in its current state of the syllabus hard to define and they find encounters with parents and pupils difficult in their tasks. The selection of ethics is decided by previously planned basic values education or from conflicts erupting during schools hours.
"Matematik är mer än siffror" : Förskollärares syn- och arbetssätt kring matematik i förskolan
Syftet var att undersöka hur fyra förskollärare uppfattade sitt arbete med matematik i förskolan med fokus på hinder och möjligheter. Syftet var också att undersöka om förskollärarnas syn och arbetssätt skiljde sig åt beroende på i vilken åldergrupp förskolläraren arbetade.Jag valde att intervjua förskollärare eftersom jag tycker att de har en viktig roll i barns tidiga matematiska utveckling. Resultatet visar att förskollärarna anser att matematik är en viktig del i förskolan och att det är viktigt att barn tidigt kommer i kontakt med matematiken samt att matematik är mer än bara plus och minus men även att matematik inte behöver planeras utan finns ofta i alla förekommande moment i förskolans verksamhet. Skillnaderna jag upptäckte bland intervjuerna var att några antydde att det var brist på planeringstid, medan andra tyckte att de gjorde vad de kunde, eftersom matematiken inte så ofta behöver planeras utan finns naturligt i alla förskolans moment..
Polyfona positioner i pendlande praktik
The purpose of this study is to contribute to our knowledge about what methods? Teachers say they use in the work with pupils? early reading acquisition, and how they evaluate the pupils´ reading development. I also like to find out what educational interventions Teachers believe that pupils with reading difficulties need, and how they say they work to meet the needs of these pupils. The project is based on the following questions: What methods do Teachers say they use in the work with pupils early reading acquisition? What extra resources do Teachers consider that pupils with reading difficulties need? How do Teachers evaluate children's reading development? In order to answer my questions, I've done qualitative interviews with three Teachers, at two schools, in two medium-sized municipalities.
Förskolepedagogers arbetssätt i naturmiljö : En enkätstudie med pedagoger i förskolans verksamhet
Syftet med den här studien är att få en större förståelse av hur verkligheten ser ut gentemot förskolans uppdrag som står skrivet i läroplanen vad gäller Studien bygger på en enkätundersökning där förskollärare, barnskötare och pedagoger med annan utbildning har deltagit. Dock har jag valt att utgå från förskollärarnas svar på enkäten. Studien visar att majoriteten av förskollärare besöker naturen ibland oavsett pedagogens ålder. De aktiviteter som vanligtvis sker i naturmiljö är fri lek och motoriska aktiviteter. Det finns även inslag av exempelvis trädgårdsarbete samt berättande av sagor. Förskollärarnas uppfattning om det egna arbetslagets kompetens inom naturkunskap är att, majoriteten av förskollärare anser att deras medarbetare har tillräckligt med kunskap för att bedriva en meningsfull verksamhet i naturen.
