Syftet med studien är att identifiera och beskriva nutida folksångares gestaltning vid nyinspelning av ljudande arkivmaterial från Svenskt Visarkiv. Genom transkriptioner, ljudhändelsebeskrivningar och analyser av tre arkivinspelningar från Svenskt Visarkiv och fyra nutida inspelningar med samma musikaliska material har studier av olika förändrings-faktorer gjorts. Studien utgår från teorier om tyst kunskap, kulturarv och tradition.Resultatet visar att faktorer som förhållandet till puls, utsmyckningar och melodivariationer; röstanvändning och instrumentanvändning är förändrade i de nutida inspelningarna. Faktorerna text och form är oförändrade. En övergripande trend i resultatet är att de nutida sångarna har ett något mer nyanserat och genomarbetat sätt att framföra sångerna på än vad som återfinns hos föregångarna, vilket märks särskilt tydligt i instrumentanvändning och i förhållandet till pulsen..

Shakespeare- Dead or alive in school?The purpose with our degree project is to examine if Shakespeare still is alive in school and in what way he is being used. Our study is based on these following questions:Does Shakespeare exist in school today?How are the other classic books being used?Which teaching methods are used?How is Shakespeare received by the pupils?The methods used to be able to answer the questions are interviews with Teachers and focus groups with the pupils. We carried out the interviews with six Swedish Teachers and four focus groups in four different upper secondary schools.The main result of this study shows that Teachers and pupils still think that Shakespeare is an important author.

'Teachers in current Swedish child- and youth literature' is an essay that attempts to understand the reasons behind why authors portray Teachers the way they do. The foundation and focus point of this essay are ten Swedish child and youth books that were all published during 2012. Throughout this essay I have analyzed the fictional Teachers in these books using the discourse analysis method but also employed a gender perspective. The main questions were these: Do the Teachers presented in these books follow the curriculum LGR - 11, or do they represent the authors own education experience brought forward to current settings? Furthermore, was there a difference in how female and male Teachers were represented? And if so what, possible reasons could account for that? The conclusions made were thus: ? The Teacher characters within these books were mostly a throwback to days gone by, therefore reflecting the authors own memories of their school. ? They were mainly presented to the reader in a negative light which most likely has its roots in how Swedish school and Swedish Teachers have been portrayed within the mass media. ? Recent research in classrooms has often had its focus on the pupil, the individual, and not on the different groups of students that exist. In a classroom there are normally several different groupings, each one having its own personal attitude towards the current lesson. If there had been more research we would find it easier to understand why pupils sometimes behave the way they do.The purpose of this essay is to analyze how pupils` social relations create groupings. Furthermore I intend to investigate how and why pupils show their belonging to a certain group.The two questions of the essay are:1. How pupils? social relations appear in a classroom?2.

This Masters thesis concerns collaboration between Teachers and librarians. Three theoretical perspectives, profession, power and legitimacy, are used to analyse the results of written interviews with eight Teachers and one librarian at a comprehensive school. We did not find evidence of any deeper collaboration between Teachers and the librarian. The effects of profession had little impact on the relation although the involved parties seemed to appreciate differences in education and points of view. The Teacher retains power over education and grades while the librarian holds sway over the physical library and the purchase of books and other media.

The study shows how seven informants, all studying at a university in northern Sweden to become art Teachers, perceive and relate to controversial contemporary art in the context of secondary school art education. The study is based on semi-structured interviews. The study contributes to a nuanced view of these informants opinions and thoughts regarding provocative contemporary art, in relation to the school's democratic values ??and founding mission. The seven informants' responses were compiled thematically linked to the study's purpose and issues to allow for comparisons and analysis.

Sammanfattning Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att se hur leken kan användas som redskap för lärande. Målet har varit att undersöka hur leken kan användas i skolan. Arbetet har genomförts genom kvalitativa intervjuer och litteraturstudier. En av de tyngsta teoretikerna har varit Winnicott och Knutsdotter Olofsson. Intervjuerna har varit sex stycken jämnt fördelade på två skolor, en stor och en liten.

Laborationer är en del i naturvetenskapliga ämnen, där eleverna får praktisk erfarenhet av teorin. För att ta reda på mer om elevers lärande av laborationer, används som utgångspunkt litteratur om lärande, lärande i naturvetenskap och lärande med laborationer. Forskare har olika åsikter om laborationers användbarhet, vilket lett fram till frågorna: Hur påverkas elevernas förståelse av teorin, genom att laborera om den? Vad anser eleverna om laborationer som ett tillfälle att fördjupa sin kunskap? Detta undersöktes med kvalitativa metoder, där både enkäter och intervjuer användes. Frågorna var både kunskapsfrågor, förståelsefrågor och frågor om vad eleverna själva anser om laborationer.

Mitt syfte med denna uppsats är att få djupare kunskap i vad tvåspråkiga klasser innebär och vilken uppfattning pedagogerna som arbetar i en tvåspråkig klass har angående deras arbetsätt. Jag har tittat närmare på två mångkulturella skolor som arbetar tvåspråkigt. Jag har använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer med pedagoger för att få en bredare kunskap om hur undervisningen genomförs och för att få en uppfattning om vad pedagogerna har för syn och erfarenheter kring tvåspråkiga klasser. Jag har intervjuat fyra pedagoger som har stor erfarenhet av att jobba med andraspråkselever då de har arbetat på mångkulturella skolor i flera år. Resultaten av mina intervjuer blev relativt lika då lärarna anser att modersmålet har stor betydelse för barnets andraspråksutveckling.

Background: Pedagogical documentation is currently used as a natural part of the educational activities under the revised curriculum for preschool.Aim: The purpose of this study is to see how preschool Teachers perceive and define educational documentation in preschool. The aim is also to see what opportunities and obstacles that may arise over the pedagogical documentation.Method: The study was conducted along a qualitative approach with questionnaires in order to reach more preschool Teachers and thus obtain a broader picture of the subject content. From a phenomenological approach I have taken account of the preschool Teachers' experience and perception of educational documentation and designed it to my own interpretation.Results: The results show that pedagogical documentation is an important tool in preschool Teachers work not only found to contain a product, but seems more like a collection of a lot of products to be brought together into a whole..

Detta examensarbete avser att beskriva hur kvinnliga lärare ser på deras arbetsvillkor och hur maktstrukturer påverkar deras arbete. Två kvinnor och en manlig lärare har blivit intervjuade i New South Wales, Australien och två kvinnor och en man har blivit intervjuade i södra Sverige. Jag har använt mig av genusteorier för att analysera mina informanter svar. Resultatet i denna uppsats visar på att genusordningen påverkar lärarens roll, arbetsvillkor och status negativt. Detta eftersom de regler som finns för både profession och status är uppbyggda efter manliga normer och läraryrket består främst av kvinnor.

AbstractPurpose/Aim: The aim of this essay is to examine the democratic potential of Forum Games.The main focus of the essay is if working with forum games can help the participators to better communicate their thoughts and ideas and through this take better part in a democratic society.Material/Method: The material to the study has been gathered through three interviews with persons using forum games in their work and one enquiry with 21 students in Teacher education at Uppsala University, who had recently tried the method for the first time.Main results: The conclusion of the study is that forum game has a democratic potential. Ability to communicate is important for a democratic society and participating in forum games can improve the participators communication abilities. The aim of this study was to describe and analyse the perceptions that ten 12-15 yearold pupils with special educational need, who had been assigned a personal computer, have about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the learning process. Data was collected by personal interviews and observations. Sociocultural perspective and phenomenographic research approach were used as theoretical and methodological frameworks in analyzing and understanding the result. The major conclusions were that most respondents perceived the computer as beneficial assistive technology for learning, but some felt singled out by having a computer to assist in learning.
