En jämförelse mellan en Waldorfförskola och en kommunalförskolas arbetssätt och deras syn på barns lärande


Abstract  Nilsson, J. (2011) Waldorf preschool and municipal preschools - How they look at the preschool curriculum. Degree in the teacher education program. Gävle. University of Gävle. In this study, four pedagogues view of curriculum for preschool have been investigated. The pedagogues come from a Waldorf preschool and a municipal preschool. The study was done using qualitative interviews. The interviews were open to nature and the informants were given the room to answer questions the way they look at the curriculum for preschool and how their approach to children's learning. Informants' responses were similar on many issues but one could clearly see the differences in their approach. The major differences that emerged during the study was that teachers from the Waldorf preschool believes it is important to have continuity in children's everyday life while the pedagogues from the municipal pre-school believes that you should embrace the moment and the children. Both the municipal and Waldorf pedagogues stress the importance of the individual.Keywords: Preschool, curriculum for preschool, Waldorf, play, democracy.
