Att smittas och vara smittad av HIV kan innebära ett stort lidande för individen och det är viktigt för vårdpersonal att få förståelse för hur de signaler de sänder ut påverkar individen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa kunskap om vårdpersonals attityder till personer med HIV/AIDS. Nitton kvantitativa och kvalitativa studier analyserades enligt integrerad översiktsmetod. Det resulterade i tre områden som svarade på litteraturstudiens frågeställningar vilka var attityder till personer med HIV/AIDS, faktorer som kan påverka till person med HIV/AIDS och påverkan på person med HIV/AIDS. Attityderna var överlag positiva, men något negativare för attityder till homosexuella och missbrukare med HIV/AIDS.

The nurse has a significant role in the care of the patient and in his/her experience of life. Aim The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of life, from a nurse perspective. Method The text analysis was carried out with qualified attempts, of a book, "Quality of life a challenge for the nurse" (in Swedish) by T. Rustoen, a nurse who also worked as a teacher in Norway.

The aim of this study was to explore how young students can be taught during their first year of learning English towards the A1 level according to The European Framework of Reference for Languages, and how the students understand their own learning. The study was carried out in two different classes but with the same teacher, who is qualified to teach English to young learners. The result is based on the analysis of a total of twelve observations of English lessons in two classes in school year one and eight group interviews with the students. Recurrent ingredients through all lessons were activities such as listening to teacher talk, watching films or film clips, singing songs and doing rhymes, using drama activities, talking about the meaning of learning English, practicing guessing competence and learning new vocabulary. The teacher consistently talked about and taught different strategies for language learning.

Studien syftar till att beskriva en personcentrerad vårdfilosofi och hur den kommer till uttryck i demensvård. I denna studie har kvalitativa studier av demensvård med ett personcentrerat perspektiv analyserats för att öka förståelsen för hur denna vård upplevs av patienterna och hur den uttrycks i vården.På grund av att patienter med demenssjukdom är extremt sårbara och beroende av andra för sitt välbefinnande är det speciellt viktigt att formulera en vårdfilosofi inom demensvård.Det som är återkommande i resultatet av studien är synen på patienten som en person. Att bli sedd som en person och inte som en sak eller diagnos ger mening åt livet och möjlighet till att uppleva välbefinnande.Personcentrerad vård inom demensvård innebär att bekräfta patienten, vara närvarande i mötet, lyssna till och försöka tolka patientens berättelse, ge patienten frihet och möjlighet att välja och bestämma över sin situation, hjälpa patienten att bevara sina relationer och underlätta eller kompensera för personens förlorade förmågor..

Att vara närstående till en person som lever med en långvarig sjukdom innebär en stor förändring. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelser av att vara närstående till en person med långvarig sjukdom. Litteraturstudien baserades på 17 vetenskapliga studier som analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resulterade i fem kategorier; att försöka anpassa sig till en förändrad vardag, att känna osäkerhet men även hopp, att förlora sin roll inom familjen, att uppleva förändringar i det sociala livet, att ha behov av förklaringar och stöd. Det framkom i resultatet att närstående försökte upprätthålla en balanserad livsstil trots stor omsorgsbörda, de saknade sitt sociala liv. De beskrev vardagen som begränsad och oroade sig för familjens ekonomi.

Bakgrund: Varje år får cirka 54 000 svenskar diagnosen cancer. När en person drabbas av cancer och får en palliativ diagnos inverkar det stort på de närståendes situation. Ångest och oro är många gånger större hos de närstående än hos den sjuke själv. Det är tungt att som närstående stå vid sidan om och se sin kära ha plågsamma symtom. At the turn of the century 18/1900 Swedish law looked upon young people as being adults at about the age of 15. At 15, the young person had left school, had his first employment and provided for himself and also had been confirmed to full membership of the Swedish State Church. Thus he was to be considered an adult and responsible for his actions. Parents, society/school and Church had done what was expected of them and now it was up to the 15-years old to live according to the laws and to be punished if the laws were broken. Over the following hundred years, at the time of the millennium, Swedish society changed a lot.

The aim of this study was to examine former criminals? experiences of help and support of importance to leave a criminal life style. The study consists of six interviews with former criminals and earlier studies on the subject. These studies show that relapse in crime are most common among those who are socially excluded from society. They also show that important factors to end a life in criminality are for example a supportive social network.

Intercropping involving trees is called agroforestry and makes it possible to get higher production for every area unit. The trees can function as food, fodder, fuel, medicine; prevent mark erosion and much more. Agroforestry can also be combined with animal husbandry. The aim of this study was to document the animal production systems used by rural small-scale farmers maintaining ruminants and using agroforestry in the northern province of Rwanda. The farmers using agroforestry is expected to have higher milk yield than average due to homegrown protein. The method used during the study was semi-structural interviews with booth open and closed questions. In order to get in contact with farmers that matched the criteria; small-scaled rural farmers with ruminants and using agroforestry, the ?Vi Agroforestry Programme? (Vi-Life) in Kigali were contacted and the staff worked as supervisors, translators and contact with the farmers throughout the study. During the study nine individual farmers, two cooperatives breeding sheep and one group interview were conducted.

The aim of the study was to examine how substance abuse influences social relationships to families, friends and others. Five ex addicts in a treatment centre were interviewed. We used thematic interviews with themes that we regarded as relevant for our study. In the analysis we applied the theoretical concept of symbolic interactionism. Theories of emotions also helped us to explain feelings that arise in the social relationships.

The aim of this study was to examine how the new established phenomenon of ?Internet drugs? causes challenges to organizations, both individually and in relation to collaboration. The study is based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with representatives from three organizations - one youth police unit, one medical addiction centre and four units working within social services. The theoretical approach that was used is theory about human service organizations, theory about collaboration and new institutional organizational theory. A conclusion is that the current drug classification is problematic and mainly challenging for the organizations that focus on prevention work and early interventions.

Building Automation Systems in commercial buildings are often designed and installed by different contractors, using equipment and components from different manufacturers. The lack of an accepted communication standard has resulted in a few different standards. Many manufacturers of building automation systems only support one, a few or none of these standards, while developing proprietary system solutions. Regin, who develop such equipment, are planning to adopt an open communication protocol specially designed for building automation - BACnet. As a step in that direction this thesis was announced with the purpose to investigate the possibility to implement BACnet in one of their products and to gain more knowledge of the BACnet protocol.

En person som är obegränsat skattskyldig i Sverige är skattskyldig här för alla sina inkomster oavsett var de kommer ifrån, medan en person som är begränsat skattskyldig bara är skattskyldig för vissa inkomster med särskild anknytning hit. Eftersom obegränsad skattskyldighet grundas på bosättning utgörs gränsen för den svenska beskattningsrätten av det skatterättsliga bosättningsbegreppet. Detta är grundläggande för fastställandet av en fysisk persons skattskyldighet. För att inte främja skatteflykt är det viktigt att reglerna om skattskyldighet inte är för snävt utformade.
