Hägglunds Drives in Mellansel, Sweden, manufacture radial piston hydraulic motors foremostwithin applications in the industry. These motors have several sliding contacts, one of these, isthe contact between piston ring and cylinder bore. The radial piston hydraulic motors advantageis to produce high torque in very low rotation velocity, this result in that the maximum slidingvelocity between piston ring and cylinder bore, during the whole stroke, is very low. Theconsequence of this low sliding velocity is that the contact between piston ring and cylinderbore, during the whole stroke, is bound to the boundary lubrication regime. This result in, thatthe piston ring is exposed to wear, thus affect the service life of the complete hydraulic motor.To minimize wear of piston ring, it is essential to determine the oil film thickness between thepiston ring and cylinder bore.

This work derives from the question ?What is a beautiful road??. The question is being discussed in interviews with two employees at the Swedish National Road Administration and two former members of the ?Council of environment and beauty? at the Swedish National Road Administration. The interviews are summarized in my own discussion about the concept of ?Beautiful roads?.

The Swedish welfare organisation is built on the fact that the legislation gives the municipalities and social workers guidance and direction how to assess cases. Through out this the clients have right to be assessed both equally and individually. How is this done? The purpose of this paper was to examine the effect of the organisation referred to the social workers ability to discretion and the evaluation of the assessment in first time applications of social assistant cases. The purpose was also to look for variations in decisions and if these could be explained out of organisational and assessment effects.

This report is the result of a questionnaire survey done in cooperation with the company Sydved and their contractors. The investigation concerned all their ordinary contractors. The main goal with the study was to find out the contractors opinion about the current cooperation conditions with Sydved, their opinion about the future and how to improve the cooperation. All contractors got a questionnaire to fill in and return within a given date. The percentage of answers was 48 % at the first stage and further 11 % answered after reminder. The result of the investigation indicated that the contractors in general have a positive attitude to Sydved and the way that the company acts.

Om eller när en person drabbas av ohälsa, orsakad av exempelvis sjukdom eller olyckshändelse kan känslan av hopp vara en styrka som bidrar till att klara av situationer som kan upplevas svåra eller krävande. Hopp beskrivs som ett mångdimensionellt begrepp och kan vara en nödvändig del i anpassningen till en ny situation. Transition innefattar processen i en förändring hos människor som av olika anledningar drabbas av ohälsa, där hoppet är en väsentlig del. Hopp kan upplevas på olika sätt, därför finns det ett värde om vårdpersonal kan ge personcentrerad omvårdnad, en individuellt utformad vård. Litteraturöversiktens syfte är att beskriva personers upplevelser av hopp vid olika tillstånd av ohälsa.

Web 2.0 represents the next generation of creating interactive applications on the Web. The purpose of this thesis was to develop a service tailored to Web 2.0 technology, where users can post ads for free. The platform is an advertising system specially designed for animals. Surveys and interviews have been done; the result is that today?s advertising services on the Internet are not interactive and user-friendly.The users have the possibility to adapt different part of the system to their needs, such as choice of themes.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe and compare the degree of selfreporting succession to the basal hygienic routines of emplyees working in municipal old peoples care versus hospital care. It is also to describe the access of material available in prevention of cross infections. The study was also carried out with a comparative and quantitative run up design. The study is based on a questionnaire in the district of Gävleborg in the spring of 2009. Nurses, auxiliaries and carers whom were in close contact with patients were asked to join the study.

Det krävs mycket av en sjuksköterska för att kunna skapa tillit och förtroende prehospitalt med en skadad person. Syftet har varit att undersöka vilka faktorer/åtgärder/förhållningssätt som krävs av en sjuksköterska i första mötet med en skadad person för att skapa en förtroendefull och kontakt med känsla av tillit. Undersökningen har genomförts som en litteraturstudie och resultatet visar på att om en förtroendefull kontakt ska skapas mellan sjuksköterskan och en skadad person prehospitalt krävs det framför allt att en kommunikation dem emellan kommer till stånd. Andra slutsatser i resultatet är att en sjuksköterska måste utföra vissa kommunikationsstrategier för att en kontakt ska uppstå. De kommunikationsstrategier som är väsentliga för att skapa en förtroendefull kontakt är bland andra sjuksköterskans förhållningssätt samt att sjuksköterskan har självinsikt och kunskap om effekter av ett sitt agerande.

Traumatisk hjärnskada, som drabbar många människor i Sverige varje år, kan leda till långvarig sjukdom och även påverka närståendes hälsa direkt. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person med traumatisk hjärnskada. Studien baserades på 16 vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier; Att tiden efter olyckan var kaotisk och oviss; Att vårdspersonalens bemötande var frustrerande och en besvikelse; Att få omgivningens stöd var en lättnad; Att känslan av att leva med en främmande person var emotionellt påfrestande; Att familjelivet förändrades var påfrestande men samtidigt betydelsefullt. Närstående upplever många starka känslor efter en traumatisk olycka och de har behov av omsorg, bekräftelse, någon att prata med, samt avlastning.

The aim of this study is to examine if Kenneth, a character in the novel Nyår by Stig Larsson, takes his ethical responsibility for one of the characters that appears in one section of the book, Ann. Nyår has often been related to morality. This study shows that Levinas philosophy of ethics is a supplement to the discussion of morality. According to Levinas, a person that acts in a non-moral way still can act in a righteous ethical way. With this starting point, it is possible to be close to the text and to bring out new perspectives on the novel.

Politics in today's society unfolding more and more in the media, but the media content is limited. Therefore, the media must constantly make choices, choices which are specific to each object. The purpose of this study is to examine how Olof Palme is portrayed as a politician and private individual in the documentary film Palme - älskad och hatad, and also how Carl Bildt is portrayed as a politician and private individual in the documentary film Bildt - excellensen.To study the documentary films I use a qualitative textual analysis with a focus on a narrative analysis. In the narrative analysis, I have been inspired by the categoricalcontent- based approach to study the documentary films. In my analysis, with the help of theories of mediatization of politics, documentaries and stories, I interpret and analyze the films to make them more understandable.The conclusions of the study is that Palme in his role as a politician is portrayed as a humane person who cares about the individual.

The national spatial planning guidelines and the subsequent legal regulation in the Natural Resources Act and the Environmental Code has been a part of the Swedish planning system for almost 40 years. In the recent years, critics have claimed that the regulations are outdated and does not work the way it was intended. This paper examines closer why it is perceived that the regulations does not work, with a focus on how the national interests are managed in the municipal planning. Why is the national interests not applied in the municipal planning as intended? Is the error in the system or in the implementation of it? The aim of this essay is to study the gap between theory and practice by studying how the land management provisions in the Environmental Code is applied in five selected municipalities. The aim is also to find interesting issues for futher studies of the topic.

När en familjemedlem drabbas av Alzheimers sjukdom förändras hela livssituationen för de närstående. För att kunna ge en individanpassad omvårdnad med god kvalitet för personer med Alzheimers sjukdom krävs en bra samverkan mellan sjuksköterskan och de närstående. Genom att få en ökad förståelse och kunskap om de närståendes upplevelser har sjuksköterskan möjlighet att möta de närståendes behov och stödja dem i vårdarrollen. Syftet med studien är att belysa upplevelsen av att vårda en person med Alzheimers sjukdom i hemmet. Metoden utgår från Lundman och Graneheims kvalitativa innehållsanalys där tre självbiografier granskas och analyseras.

During my practice as a teacher trainee at an upper secondary school it became clear to me that many pupils have difficulties with algebra. Also in a report from the National Agency for Education (1999) you can see that the students algebra knowledge get worse and worse. I was surprised to find that many pupils seemed to get stuck on the level of attainment for the senior level of the nine-year compulsory school. As I have not studied anything about difficulties in algebra during my training to become a qualified teacher I would like to get to know more about this. I also examine why you have to study algebra in upper secondary school.

Sverige består av ungefär 23 miljoner hektar av produktiv skogsmark. Detta innebär att drygt 50 % av landarealen utgörs av skogsmark. Den produktiva skogsmarken är uppdelad mellan olika ägarkategorier, där fysisk person (enskilda ägare) äger 50 % och juridisk person, såsom staten, aktiebolag, ekonomiska föreningar och dylikt, äger övriga 50 % av skogsmarken. Denna fördelning av skogsmarken mellan olika ägarkategorier tros inverka på den skogliga fastighetsmarknaden och en prisdifferens beroende på om fastigheten säljs av juridisk eller fysisk person antas existera. Anledningen till differensen tros bero på bland annat lagstiftning, skötsel och ekonomiska aspekter såsom utbud och efterfrågan på marknaden. Studiens huvudsyfte var att analysera hur faktorn ägarkategori, där säljaren av skogsfastigheterna delades upp i juridisk person och fysisk person, påverkade skogsfastigheternas köpeskilling.
