SammandragDenna uppsats handlar om vad Aspergers syndrom är och vad det innebär för barnen i skolan. I texten ges en förklaring till de olika kriterierna som experterna följer för att ställa diagnosen Aspergers syndrom och även hur föräldrar, förskolan och skolan kan hjälpa barnen med Aspergers syndrom att lära sig samhällets samspel och regler.Uppsatsen har genomförts med hjälp av litteratur från tidigare forskningar och samtal med lärare och specialpedagogen. Det som jag lägger tyngdpunkten på, är min egen undersökning med observation och samtal med en flicka i 11 års ålder som har diagnostiserats ADHD och Aspergers syndrom.Undersökningen visar att barnen med Aspergers syndrom behöver ha struktur samt tydliga och okomplicerade regler, samt att de kan ha vissa svårigheter med språket och det sociala beteendet. Men med hjälp av tålamod och vilja kan de lära sig att samspela med omgivningen även om de inte förstår varför.Nyckelord: Aspergers syndrom, diagnos, specialpedagogik..

The purpose of this study is to research whether or not gender has an impact on assessments regarding the support for persons with special nedds (LSS personkrets 3). Administrators working in disability care are to make decisions on the basis of the individual's needs when assessing the need for aid and support. This study is based on qualitative interviews, with six administrators, and one head of operations. The empirical data collected has been thoroughly analysed from a gender perspective, rooted in Butler's theory regarding performativity and subversive actions, as well as Connell's gender regime, and Hirdman's gender contracts. Results show that administrators have ackknowledged and noticed differences in how male and female users express their needs, where the difference lies in the communication; females seem more reserved and shy, whereas males seem more outward and extroverted.

Intelligence is an elusive concept with strong links to business intelligence , in which organizations have recently more and more have incorporated the use of IT (Information Technology). A research carried out recently have identified the importance of effective monitoring, but there are few studies showing how organizations actually work in the field.A qualitative study consisting of the interviews with employees at an IT company was done to see how external monitoring is carried out in practice, in a specific company and how it would help the company to develop. The company we visited did not work with special procedures of any kind regarding external monitoring but still knew about the term and its meaning.The conclusion account for detected patterns as well as difficulties, including the definition of external monitoring which differs a lot between individuals. The patterns discovered points to the importance of clarity and objectives regarding the use of external monitoring for it to be effective and measurable.Keywords: External monitoring, Business Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence..

En av de viktigaste nycklarna till en lärande organisation, är teamlärande. Samarbetar och arbetar de anställda tillsammans så överstiger det den enskildes kunnande. Facilitatorer arbetar med förändringsprocesser där de anställda utmanas och coachas mot att samverka aktivt för att tillsammans bilda en lärande organisation, där ett mål med processen är att leda organisationer mot att fortlöpande vilja eftersträva förbättringar med andra ord bli en lärande organisation. Det har visat att det finns en viss problematik kring att skapa grupper som frambringar förutsättningar för lärande och utveckling. Vi kände då att vi kunde bidra till den pedagogiska vetenskapen i anknytning till detta problem genom vår studie som riktar sig mot facilitatorns upplevelser av hur de påverkar förutsättningarna för utveckling och lärande i/hos arbetsgrupper.

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse the Chinese destination of Hainan, with background in a globalizing tourism destination development, for tourism from Finland and Sweden. The questions at issue are regarding what kind of an impact the status as a special economic zone have had upon Hainan, what kind of conditions there are for tourism on the island, in what form participants of the tourism industry want the development to proceed, what the prevailing trend is for distant destinations for Nordic markets and also regarding what kind of potential there is for organized tourism to Hainan from Finland and Sweden.As a foundation for the paper, I?ve composed a theoretical reference for knowledge of China, Hainan and the study of destinations. The sources of secondary kind are literature related to the subject. The primary sources are mainly interviews, field work done at Hainan has given a concrete and personal knowledge of the place.

Min uppsats handlar om situationer där jag har svårt att fördela min uppmärksamhet. Mitt fokus läggs antingen på barnet med speciella behov eller på barngruppen.I essän för jag en diskussion runt mitt eget förhållningssätt kring detta.Den senaste tiden har vi upplevt en trend att barn med särskilda behov ska inkluderas i all skolverksamhet. Syftet är naturligtvis gott, men min upplevelse är att det ibland kan leda till en ny form av exkludering. Det vill säga att de barn som inte fungerar som förväntat kan känna sig ännu mer utanför vilket kan få konsekvenser för att uppnå kunskapsmålen. Hur kan jag hantera detta som pedagog? I min essä undersöker jag problemet med hjälp av ett antal etiska teorier, pliktetik, utilitarism, diskursetik och fronetisk etik..

Examensarbetet som presenteras i denna rapport är utfört som ett samarbetsprojekt mellan SSAB Special Steels i Oxelösund, Swerea Mefos och Luleå tekniska universitet. Examensarbetet är den avslutande delen på Civilingenjörsprogrammet Hållbar Energiteknik med inriktning mot energieffektivisering och bioenergi.Arbetets mål var att bygga, demonstrera och testa en operatörsstyrningsmodell för koksverket i Oxelösund. Syftet med modellen var att kunna simulera olika driftsituationer och ta fram förslag på driftparametrar som operatörer kan använda för att hantera den dagliga driften. Som stöd för operatörer utarbetades även en operatörsmanual till modellen.I inledningen av arbetet identifierades fyra huvudområden som ansågs allra viktigast för SSAB och mest fokus lades på dessa i byggandet av modellen. Dessa var koksningsprocessen, värmeledning i ugnar, flödet av koksgas och masugnsgas till verket samt tillförsel av luft till förbränningsprocessen.

Persons suffering from Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) struggle with complications within the functions that regulate and control the brain activities, due to deficiencies in these functions within the affected nerve-paths. ADHD is a cognitive function impairment characterised by inattention, impulsiveness and over activity. According to Diagnostic and Statistic Manual of Mental Disorders, American Psychiatric Association (DSM-IV), certain diagnostic criteria of ADHD must be fulfilled in order for a person to be diagnosed with ADHD. The everyday problems caused by ADHD are individual and medication can have positive effects relieving the person?s impairing behaviour.

Utbildning och livslångt lärande är idag aktuella begrepp i samhället och det finns en självklarhet i att skaffa sig en formell yrkesutbildning. Dock finns än i dag arbeten som kräver fysiska handlingar och praktiska erfarenheter. Yrken där individer tillsatt sig kunskap genom att arbeta, inte genom att studera. Badmästare är en sådan yrkesgrupp, där flertalet anställda saknar formell utbildning. Genom en fenomenologisk forskningsansats undersöks på vilka sätt en praktisk yrkesgrupp upplever kompetensutveckling och möjligheten att utvecklas i arbetet.

This is a historical documentary research study across Neva Leona Boyd (1876-1963). The theoretical perspective is based on the historical perspective of knowledge from ancient Greece to the approach of modern symbolic interactionism. The study shows that Boyd, who was Viola Spolins teacher, was a proponent of the modern view of group play theory. 1909 she founded Chicago School for Playground Workers, later transformed to the Recreation Training School. Until 1927, the school entered in Hull-House initiated by Jane Addams.

Detta examensarbete handlar om drama som pedagogik, vad det är, hur man gör och varför man gör det. Mitt syfte med den här uppsatsen är att lyfta fram kunskap om hur vi pedagoger ska kunna hjälpa elever i våra klasser genom att använda drama som metod för kunskap och utveckling. Arbetet innefattar tre intervjuer samt litteraturstudier om ämnet. Individerna som jag har intervjuat är en klasslärare på mellanstadiet, en dramalärare samt en barnteaterförfattarinna. Intervjuerna innehöll frågor som rörde drama som pedagogik och hur de som pedagoger kommer i kontakt med detta, vad de tycker om drama som pedagogik, samt vad man kan använda det till och vilka fördelar som blir följden av användandet.Jag kom fram till att drama som pedagogik är en metod med vilken elever och lärare lär sig mer om sig själva, varandra och världen.

The aim of this study is to analyse how pornography is used in the American comics X-Men, published by Marvel under the authorship of Chris Claremont.I have applied Butler and MacKinnons theories about pornography as a performative speech, to this special art form. I have also investigated how censorship has influenced the comics evolution and whether it has affected the way women and sexual and ethnical minorities are represented. To corroborate how these theories apply, I have analysed three main female fig-ures in The X-Men comics - Storm, Phoenix and Shadowcat - and I have tried to identify how they relate to existing stereotypes.The conclusion of this essay is that the women characters in X-Men break the existing stereo-types and create new implications. This reinforces Butler?s theory about the possibility to re-verse hate speech and diminishes MacKinnons perspective of pornography as an imperative..

I min studie vill jag undersöka och belysa hur gestaltande lekpedagogik som arbetsprocess kan startas upp och fortlöpa. För att få förskollärares egna berättelser och perspektiv väljer jag att använda mig av intervju som metod. Jag utgår ifrån Lindqvists teori (1996) om gestaltande lekpedagogik. Lindqvist menar att ett gestaltande arbetssätt låter de teoretiska och de estetiska ämnena samarbeta. Lekvärldar byggs upp och gestaltningar genomförs, barnen får en mening och lärandet blir lustfyllt.

The purpose of this essay was to describe the opinions of different religious and non-religious ideologies and aspects of treatment, concerning use of drugs and drugsaddiction, and with a special focus at Narconon. We also wanted to try to understand the connection between professionalism and ideology in their treatment.Our central questions where;· How does the treatment Narconon's provides, look like?· What is Narconon's opinion on use of drugs and drugaddiction?· What is Narconon's connection to the Scientology?· Is there any scientific proof that Narconon's treatment is functioning?· How can we understand the connection between professionalism and ideology in treatment?We made intervjues with six social workers and six intervjues with staff at Narconon. Added to the intervjues, we studied articles and Internet research.From our work and through information we have got from Narconon, we have discovered the need of further research concerning their treatment. Narconon does continuous following-ups when the treatment is finished.

Recent studies show that the knowledge in and understanding of science, technology andmathematics of Swedish junior high school and high school students is decreasing. As a resultof this the Swedish government has initialized several studies, research and reforms. One ofthe theories for teaching that today is seen as effective is the socio-cultural perspective and itsdescendants, including scientific inquiry. Using the pedagogy of the socio-cultural perspectivefour assignments regarding the human body was constructed for junior high school studentsattending summer research school in the summer of 2008, hosted by AstraZeneca.
