Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka variationen i pedagogers uppfattningar om genusmedvetenhet och begreppet genus. Fokus har legat på pedagoger i förskola, skola och fritidshem. I studien redovisas olika forskares syn på begreppet genus och relevant forskning om genusmedvetenhet presenteras. Undersökningen är inspirerad av den fenomenografiska forskningsansatsen och en öppen intervjuform har använts. Resultatet har sedan kategoriserats i kvalitativt skilda kategorier.

Swedish Armed Forces are according to their development planning process taking actions to establish a new joint unit (SWEWOSE), with electronic warfare capability. SWEWOSÉ S main task will be designated to produce electronic warfare libraries for electronic warfare systems within the armed forces. The unit shall have capability to support with libraries in any state of conflict situation even if the supported unit with library needs conducting operations abroad.This essay examines the requirements that justify the establishment of a new unit in times when the armed forces conducting reorganizations and cutbacks in both economy and personnel.The possibilities to buy complete system solutions from an external supplier are examined. But also what kind of library support model that is to prefer according to the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces desired, in terms of capability in platform protection and battle space awareness.The results show that the demands that the Swedish Armed Forces has decided, best will be ful-filled and justified by a national electronic warfare unit, with library production as a main task..

Samrådet i detaljplaneprocessen är det lagstadgade tillfället för medborgarna att påverka planprocessen. Samrådet syftar till att "? få fram ett så bra beslutsunderlag som möjligt och att ge möjlighet till insyn och påverkan" (PBL 5 kap 12§). Det pågår idag en debatt om hur detaljplaneprocessen kan effektivisera och samrådets nytta ifrågasätts då det finns en föreställning om att medborgardeltagandet är tidskrävande. Dels genom att medborgarnas reella påverkan ifrågasätts och dels genom medborgarnas överklaganden. Examensarbetets syfte är att studera om samrådet påverkar beslutsunderlaget i detaljplaneprocessen och utgår från den övergripande frågeställningen: Påverkar samrådet beslutsunderlaget för detaljplanen? Yttrandena och synpunkterna i samrådet ska på något sätt tillgodoses för att räknas till att påverka beslutsunderlaget. Undersökningen tar avstamp i en genomgång av den enskildes roll i planlagstiftningen och planeringsteorier i avsnittet Planlagstiftningen ? en tillbakablick.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att jämföra tre olika svenska kommuners hantering av extern handel i den fysiska planeringen med fokus på eventuella intressekonflikter mellan kommunens fysiska planerare, kommunens näringslivskontor och beslutsfattande politiker. Kommunerna som granskas i uppsatsen är Ronneby, Kalmar och Alingsås kommun. Uppsatsen ska belysa problematiken med extern handeln och bidra till medvetenhet om marknadskrafternas roll i den fysiska planeringen. Syftet uppnås genom en kvalitativ metod där kommunala dokument har granskats och intervjuer ägt rum med politiker, fysiska planerare och näringslivsrepresentanter från varje kommun. Externhandel har under de senaste decennierna ökat över hela landet och detaljhandeln i externa lägen har varit extremt framgångsrik under den senaste tioårsperioden.

Mezzanine is a collective term for hybrid instruments on the leverage finance market, offered as an alternative to traditional debt. As a hybrid, mezzanine combines elements of debt and equity financing. Mezzanine appears, in its most common shape, as subordinated to the senior debt, but ranks higher than pure equity. Reminiscent of security interests, the main importance of subordination is upon the default of the borrower. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is partly to investigate the legal prerequisites for a solid subordination of mezzanine financing, and partly to explain the consequences of subordination in a default.

Medborgardeltagande är enligt lag en del i processen när en detaljplan tas fram. Syftet är att medborgarnas åsikter ska vägas in vid beslutsfattandet och på så vis bidra till mer demokratiska beslut. Men medborgarna är inte de enda som gör anspråk på att påverka besluten. Andra aktörer, så som exploatörer eller andra företag, försöker anpassa planen till sin fördel. Alla dessa parter samt andra faktorer ska i slutänden vägas in i det politiska beslutet.

So called honour based violence is a present problem in Sweden. Although recently there has been a steadily growing political and academic awareness around so called honour based violence, there are still problems in the face to face meeting with the victims. This dissertation contributes to the understanding of these victims. The empirical material is based on five young women's stories about growing up in a context of 'honour' and their experiences from breaking up from this context.  My ambition is letting these stories be heard and told as to lead to an increasing understanding of how these women experience themselves and their surrounding society. The purpose of this dissertation is to illustrate how young women interpret their self in the light of a separation from their families.

Today's young people find themselves in an intense media traffic where many messages have a commercial nature. Some such messages are for example different types of advertising in various media and advertising often plays on the uncertainty that may be common in adoles-cence. New interactive media like blogs on the Internet has been established in recent years. Mixed types of media content, advertising with different messages, appear in blogs. Therefore, I am interested in how blogs on the Internet can influence young people's creation of their identity.

Det är viktigt att alla kan känna sig fria att använda den fysiska miljön. För det krävs bl.a. en god tillgänglighet. År 2001 antog riksdagen en nationell handlingsplan för handikappolitiken som ger riktlinjer om ökad tillgänglighet bl.a. ska enkelt avhjälpta hinder åtgärdas senast år 2010.

This essay examines the way the recurring motifs in Karin Boye's poetry might be read as expressions of queer or subversive desire. The fact that the lyrical I is not gendered in the poems opens up for a queer reading. In adherence to Sara Ahmed's notion of desire lines and sexual orientation I discuss the spatial aspects of desire, and explore the positions and movements of the lyrical I in Boye's poetic landscape as deviations from the concept of the straight and marked path, into the queer and unknown.I trace desire in Boye's poetry mainly through the themes of nature and night, and the ways in which these phenomena deviate from the normative structures laid out by the poems. Usually the motifs of night (such as fog, shadows and darkness) are associated with the fading of the senses. The night obscures the vision of the lyrical I and wraps them in heavy silence, making them experience and desire in new ways. Through motifs related to nature Boye formulates a feminine, matriarchal myth.

This is an empirical study based on Physical Education and health (PE) teachers' experiences and builds on, for the study, significant literature. The study is about PE teachers? consideration of gender in the assessment as well as in the selection of lesson content. Semi-structured interviews were employed as method for the data collecting process. Four teachers were interviewed, teachers of PE in elementary and upper secondary school with varied length of professional experience and ages.

The purpose of this study was to highlight how women who have been victims of rape are described in discussion forums on the Internet and how the view obtained is affected by victim and gender constructions. By observing several discussion threads on Swedish internet forums, we have been able to explore how discussions and attitudes are made about women who are victims of rape and which characteristics are assigned females. This study analyzes these attitudes from a gender construction theory and a victim construction theory. Through this analysis, we wanted to gain a deeper understanding of attitudes about female rape victims and if the attitudes are rooted in victim and gender constructions. This study shows that women are often assigned responsibility to a rape if she put herself at risk and if she is assigned negative attributes such as promiscuous, as a liar or if she drinks too much alcohol.

This dissertation is a case study on the Co-branding between Prada and LG, ?The Prada phone by LG?. The purpose of the study is to broaden the understanding of Co-branding and the effects this type of collaboration can have on a company?s brand. The research questions are: ?What effects can a Co-branding have on a company?s Brand Equity?? and ?How can these effects be measured??.

The Sand Catcher                                                       The thesis project The Sand Catcher investigates the encounter between permanent structures and an ever-changing landscape. The migrating sand dune Råbjerg Mile in northern Denmark is 40 meters high and moves more than 15 meters every year. By introducing a solid structure on the site, the fast movement of the sand dune is emphasised and thereby our view of time and space.Through intuitively building models with varied openings and densities I investigated how architectural elements react with sand. From these experiments a series of spatial features and effects were found, generated from the meeting with the sand.The Sand Catcher is a solid and permanent structure. The sand is the liquid element that generates new spaces, circulations and experiences.

An ethnographic study loosely informed by the theoretical framework of distributed cognition was carried out in order to describe how mariners have adopted the Automatic Identification System (AIS) in their work practice, or"made the technology their own". AIS is a transponder-based identification and communication system that allows ships to automatically identify and track each other. In addition to facilitating the identification and tracking of ships, objectives behind the introduction of AIS are to"simplify informational exchange", and"provide additional information to assist situation awareness". Participant observation and interviews were made at four different ships, as well as at two shore stations. A focus group was also held at a maritime conference.
