SAMMANFATTNING I Örebros översiktsplan från 2010 nämns tre förslag, nedgrävning, överdäckning och upphöjning av järnvägen för att minska dess störnings och barriäreffekter. Syftet med examensarbetet är att göra ett planförslag utifrån det förslag från Örebro kommun som mest minskar barriäreffekterna av järnvägen, bäst länkar samman Väster och centrum och svara på frågeställningen. För att genomföra det har två analyser utförts. En litteraturstudie med material från bland annat Jane Jacobs och Jan Gehl. Inventeringar för att hitta den befintliga grönstrukturen, infrastrukturen, bebyggelsestrukturen och rumsstrukturen.

The purpose of this essay is to examine whether and how labor consultants, job coaches, guidance counselors promote the possibility of self-realization of the clients they encounter in their work. By analyzing, based on the theoretical framework, six semi-structured interviews of people having the chosen professions answer the questions "Do counselors promote client's opportunities for self-realization in their work?" and "If so: how is this practiced?". In the theoretical framework three important concepts are addressed: "identity", "recognition" and "self-realization". These are explained with the help of works by including Emma Engdahl, Anthony Giddens, Axel Honneth and Allison Weir.

I dag finns det en uttalad önskan på många håll att minska biltrafiken i de svenska städerna till förmån för gång-, cykel- och kollektivtrafiken. Trots detta sker väldigt lite i praktiken och utvecklingen går snarare mot en ökad bilanvändning. Ur denna paradox har idén om bilfria stadsmiljöer vuxit sig allt starkare under de senaste åren i ett flertal europeiska länder, däribland Tyskland, Österrike och Storbritannien. I Sverige verkar dock bilfria utvecklingsprocesser fortfarande vara en marginell företeelse, varför det finns ett behov av att undersöka hur en attraktiv bilfri stadsutveckling skulle kunna se ut i ett svenskt sammanhang. Det här arbetet syftar därför till att undersöka och utreda begreppet ?en attraktiv bilfri stadsutveckling? och som ett led i detta testa konceptet på en medelstor svensk stad, i det här fallet Kristianstad.

In this study, six teachers have been interviewed about their vision and teaching of reading comprehension, both for pupils who has cleared the reading code and those who have not. The aim is to illustrate if teachers in middle school spend time to exercise reading comprehension, or if this is left to the Swedish teachers. Thus only according to the subject Swedish, the students are entitled to be given the opportunity to develop reading strategies.The interviews are semi-structured based on qualitative research. The informants are three teachers of Swedish and three teachers of other subjects. Two different interview guides were used containing three questions.

During our formative years, technology has always had a natural part of everyday life, and for us technology has never been particularly gendered. If this depends on the climate and the attitude of our homes, ourselves, the combination of both or something completely different is a question we have asked ourselves at times. But our approach to technology does not seem as obvious to all women, and today the IT industry is heavily dominated by men. This has meant that we have asked the question whether there is any underlying reason why so few women opt for IT courses? Is there a link between how different IT organizations profiles and the prevailing gender ratio? The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is any connections between how IT organizations are related to gender issues and how the structures, attitudes and gender actually looks like in the IT industry today, and how this can be seen in their branding efforts.

The purpose of this essay was to study the family situation in connection to the absence of one parent due to participation in international peacekeeping and peace enforcement operations. Focus was on the temporarily absent parent's point of view. The study was based on five interviews with parents shortly after their returning home. The main questions has been how the parent described the child-parent relationship before, during and after the absence; the children's experience during this time according to the parent and the family's adjusting to and coping with the situation. Conclusions made from the study show that with a good stabile child-parent relationship and good parenting skills of both parents the families in this study were successful in coping with the situation.

AbstraktSyftet med studien var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning mindfulness hos studenter predicerades av välmående (i form av livstillfredsställelse), kön, ålder och utbildning. Mindfulness är av intresse eftersom det är hjärtat i den buddistiska traditionen i form av mindfulness meditation och vägen mot upplysningen. Men det är också en inriktning inom psykologin där mindfulness betyder att närvara i stunden. Min hypotes är att mindfulness kan skapa utrymme att omvärdera den subjektiva värderingen av hur nöjd man är med sitt liv. 66 kvinnor och 47 män ingick i studien.

Den fysiska riksplaneringen infördes på 1970-talet för att lösa ökande miljöproblem och markanvändningskonflikter mellan olika intressen ? exploaterande såväl som bevarande, till exempel industrilokalisering och naturvård. Riktlinjerna för denna riksplanering fördes in den nya naturresurslagen 1987, och därefter oförändrat in i miljöbalken 1998 där riktlinjerna i form av ett riksintressesystem återfinns idag. Detta betyder att beslut tagna om markanvändningskonflikter på 1970- och 1980-talet, med denna tids värderingar, fortfarande idag tillåts reglera en stor del av svensk mark- och vattenanvändning. Detta har inte skett helt okritiskt: ända sedan starten har kritik riktats mot systemets otydlighet, dysfunktion och juridiska osäkerhet ? samma kritik som riktas mot det idag.

AbstractThis paper will examine the co-operation culture in teacher work teams in a primary school currently undergoing reorganization in the Stockholm region. This inquiry is based on qualita-tive interviews with teachers and work team leaders, and is aiming to answer how teachers co-operate during the reorganization process, to find the factors that affect co-operation. Our results show that the two teams practice communication, leadership and participation very differently. Currently there are clear differences in the work team?s tendency to develop and to work with the reorganization process, pedagogic methods, social and emotional awareness and ideological beliefs.

By using open interviews we have been able to get an open dialog with our respondents.Theory: We have compared with different theories, such as Rombach?s budget-theory and Wildavsky?s role theory.Empirics: The material is based on interviews and conversations with key figures in different levels of the organisations in Landskrona and Kristianstad.Conclusions: The success of a cost-saving process depends on the engagement, awareness and how inclined to changes the persons in the organisations are. Has everybody the willingness to take responsibility fore the organisation and the changes that the surrounding world claims?.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka och belysa lärarens arbete för att nå eleverna i sin undervisning. Frågeställningarna är: Hur kan lärare skapa lektioner som innefattar elevers lärandebehov? Hur kan lärare se elevers lärandebehov i lektionssammanhang? Lena Boström har fyra olika lärstilar som tillsammans med Howard Gardners nio intelligenser och Roger Säljös teorier om lärande i ett sociokulturellt perspektiv utgör kärnan av uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkter. Undersökningen sker genom videoinspelning av fyra lektioner, varav två är musiklektioner och två är matematiklektioner, dessa fyra lektioner beskrivs i korthet och analyseras. I empirin förekommer även samtal med de filmade lärarna där deras syn på dagens forskning inom lärande och didaktik diskuteras.

The purpose of this work is to explore how to work with early reading and writing and find out what really comes first of the two. The work also involves the best known literacy learning methods and deals with methods to work around reading and writing. I have read previous research on the subject and watched a movie from our AV-central on children?s early language development. It includes an interview with two professors of education, Mats Myrberg and Mats Ekholm where they talk about the pros and cons of early learning literacy. My research is based on literary sources and interviews with educators who work with reading and writing in the early years. The results showed that even if a teacher tries to work with early writing skills we still remain in the traditional school, beginning with learning how to read.

AbstractThis essay is based on a qualitative and quantitative study. We have compared history textbooks on an upper secondary level and how the books handle the Soviet Union. This study is done in Växjö as a region. Furthermore we also made interviews with upper secondary teachers and forms with upper secondary students. Our study of the textbooks has been ranges within the period from 1917 until 2009: we choose the year 1917 because the Soviet revolution started at the former date.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att jämföra Naturvårdsverkets förslag till en förändring av strandskyddsbestämmelserna, som kom år 2002, med de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna som i fullo trädde i kraft den förste februari år 2010. Vidare har frågan hur de allmänna intressena tas till vara i strandskyddsbestämmelserna ställts samt hur förändringarna i lagstiftningen har påverkat detaljplaneringen av strandområden i tätortsområden. En fallstudie gjorts över ett strandnära område där ett planförslag har gjorts för att visa hur de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna kan tillämpas vid detaljplanering. Avgränsningen av arbetet har varit intresseavvägningen mellan de allmänna intressena och de privata utmed strandkanten vid detaljplanering samt till att studera strandskyddets påverkan vid detaljplanering i strandnära lägen. This essay reflects upon how recruiters working at a recruitment-agency interpret their gender equality plan and their understanding of the term gender equality. This was done by semi-structured interviews with five recruiters. Through theories concerning the gender system, organization theory with a gender perspective and the doing-gender-perspective we have come to the conclusion that the employees of the company lack a coherent interpretation of gender equality. Concerning the gender equality plan there were diverse understandings of its meaning and the application of the plan is partly insufficient. As a recruitment agency there are a number of specific difficulties related to working towards gender equality.
