Under hela yrkesrollens framväxt har det funnits en konflikt om yrkesrollen ska bygga på vård eller omsorg. Enhetscheferna i kommunens äldreomsorg har länge haft varierande utbildningsbakgrunder. De arbetar på uppdrag av kommunens politiker och är underställda förvaltnings- och avdelningschefer. Parallellt med detta är de själva arbetsledare för underordnad personal. I Socialtjänstlagen preciseras inte vilken utbildning eller erfarenhet som anses vara lämplig istället är det upp till varje enskild kommun att avgöra vilken utbildning som är lämplig för enhetschefsyrket.

Många drabbas av social ångest. Vikt och kroppsuppfattning relaterar till social ångest men sambandet behöver tydliggöras. Syftet med studien var att se hur mycket av variationen i social ångest över tid som kan förklaras av vikt-, och kroppsrelaterade mått, samt undersöka könsskillnader. Studien var longitudinell och baserades på en enkätundersökning vid två insamlingstillfällen med ett års mellanrum (N=361). Resultatet visade att upplevd övervikt, felaktigt upplevd övervikt, kön och kroppsnöjdhet tillsammans förklarade 7 % av variationen i social ångest över tid.

Epidemiologiska kunskapsunderlag visar att personal inom vård och omsorg tillhör en riskgrupp för ohälsa på grund av att arbetsmiljön påverkar personalens fysiska och psykiska hälsa negativt. Levnadsvanor angående bland annat mat, motion och användning av tobak har stor betydelse för människans fysiska och psykiska hälsa. Omvårdnadsprogrammet är en treårig gymnasial utbildning och syftet med utbildningen är att ge eleven den grundläggande yrkeskunskap och kompetens som krävs för arbete i verksamheter inom hälso- och sjukvård samt socialtjänst.Syftet med uppsatsen är därmed att genom en kvantitativ enkät undersöka hur 52st elever på ett omvårdnadsprogram förhåller sig till hälsa och hälsobeteenden med fokus på elevernas levnadsvanor för att kunna främja sin hälsa i sin framtida yrkesroll inom vård och omsorg. Resultatet visar att elevernas definition av begreppet hälsa omfattar i likhet med WHO:s definition av hälsa mer än bara människans biologi. Majoriteten av elever värderar sin hälsa som ?bra? eller ? mycket bra?, dock värderar en stor andel elever sin hälsa som ?varken bra eller dålig?, vilket kan relateras till elevernas självupplevda somatiska och psykiska besvär.

Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

BakgrundFörskolan har inte alltid sett ut som den gör idag och i bakgrunden redogörs för denutveckling som skett sedan slutet av 1700-talet fram till idag. Förskolans uppdrag beskrivs i Lpfö98 med att begreppen omsorg, fostran och lärande bildar en helhet, dessutom lyfts även vikten av ett fungerande samarbete mellan förskolans personal och föräldrar. Frågan är dock huruvida förskolans uppdrag är legitimt med föräldrarnas förväntningar och hur dettaeventuellt påverkar synen på förskollärarnas uppgift och ansvar, det vill sägaförskolläraryrkets profession.SyfteSyftet med studien är att få en inblick i föräldrars förväntningar på förskolans uppdrag och sätta det i relation till det faktiska uppdraget.MetodStudien är kvantitativ och har genomförts med enkäter då det ger ett tydligt, kvantifierbart resultat, vilket ligger i intresset för studien. Enkäter har gjort det möjligt att vända sig till tvåföräldragrupper, vars förskolor arbetar i olika grad med att förtydliga uppdraget, och därmed undersöka om förskolans ansträngningar att informera, påverkar föräldrarnas förväntningar.ResultatFramför allt är förskolans omsorgsfunktion väl förankrad hos föräldrarna. Föräldrarna vill att deras barn ska känna sig trygga på förskolan och de vill att deras barn ska bli bekräftade.

Unemployment and long term unemployment is a reality for a large number of people in Sweden. This may be the result of structural changes in the labor market, but involves a wide range of issues. Along with other actors, the social services are obliged to support the long term unemployed to find a job. The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the work done by social workers towards the long term unemployed, 25-49 years old, in two municipalities. We performed altogether six qualitative interviews.

Den äldre populationen tenderar att öka och åldrandet gör att de äldre kan ha särskilda behov när det gäller den orala omvårdnaden. Syftet med studien var att genom en systematisk litteraturstudie dels beskriva vårdpersonals kunskaper och attityder till äldres munvård och dels att beskriva hur dessa kunskaper och attityder påverkas av munvårdsutbildning. Frågeställningar som användes i studien var: Vilka kunskaper och attityder har vårdpersonal avseende munvård av äldre personer som är i behov av omsorg? Hur påverkas vårdpersonal av munvårdsutbildning gällande kunskaper och attityder till munvård hos äldre personer som är i behov av omsorg? Resultaten tyder på att kunskaper gällande oral hälsa är bristfällig hos vårdpersonal men samtidigt visar studien att flertalet vårdpersonal ansåg att det finns ett samband mellan oral hälsa och allmänhälsa. Resultaten visar även att munvård ofta ges låg prioritet när det kommer till omhändertagande av äldre och tidsbrist ansågs vara en bidragande faktor till detta.

The purpose with this essay is to take part of the process when a family is placed on the family-institution, Trollbacken. We want to know what makes the social welfare secretaries place a family in institutional care. Has Trollbacken lived up to the social welfare secretary expectations and are the social welfare secretaries following Trollbackens recommendation regarding the follow up treatment. We also want to know to what value the social welfare secretary assigns Trollbackens investigation and are they able to see changes in the family due to the placing on Trollbacken. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews from six social welfare secretaries that work around and in West Sweden.

The purpose with our essay was to increase our knowledge about what social workers, with experience from working with drug addicts, perceive as the explanations to a person stopping the abuse and succeed in staying drug free. Our framing of the question was:- How do social workers define the term drug free?- How big a roll do the social worker believes she/he has in the process in which a person stops abusing drugs?- How do the social worker work with a person towards getting that person drug free?- What do the social worker believe to be the reason why a person stops abusing drugs?- What do the social worker perceive as helpful for a person to stay drug free?We did qualitative interviews with six social workers. Our main conclusion was that it is difficult to define the term drug free. The reason for stropping the drug abuse can vary, it can be the family situation, "hitting rock bottom", finding love or tiring.

This paper examines how recruiters use social media during their recruitment process. The paper focuses on the staffing industry and will further examine how recruiters are handling jobseekers personal privacy when they are using social media in a recruitment process. The paper are trying to understand the meaning of what personal integrity means and how or if recruiters show consideration to this in a recruitment process when they are using social media as a recruitment tool. Our result demonstrates that, today recruiters use social media daily to conduct background checks on job applicants. There are no clear instructions and rules on how recruiters should handle background checks through social media. Recruiters believe that job seekers are responsible for the information contained on the their social media.

This essay deals with the same task that utilitarians have tried to solve for a long time, what is happiness? In the eighteenth-century utilitarians suggested that happiness should be the base for social political decisions. But the lack of definition disposed so that GDP became the measurement of happiness, which proved to be wrong when the unhappiness continued to increase. More than two hundred years later scientists came up with a new definition of happiness and new ways to measure it. And during the last decade economists have taken the discussion to a higher level.So once again we?re dealing with the same old issue, if happiness ought to be the base of social political decisions.

The purpose with our essay was to examine which clients/patients get treatment for alcohol problems from either health care units or social service units. We also wanted to find out how staff in these units considers the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment. The questions we have focused are: How do the clients/patients get in contact with the units? How does staff in these units consider the importance of social background in the assessment of treatment? How is the social background like for the present clients/patients? To fulfil the purpose with our investigation and to get answers to our questions, we performed an explorative examination and applied a qualitative method in the form of a semi-structured interview with six persons. The investigation showed that clients/patients get in contact with the units by looking for treatment by themselves or by relatives and other organisations.

People recieving social assistance is today very common in Swedish society. Of those receiving social assistance single mothers is one ofthe largest groups. The purpose of this study is to examine how single mothers with social assistance experience themselves to be treated by social services, how this treatment affects their confidence in the social services and how they experience it is to live with social assistance. To answer the question, we use qualitative interviews with three clients. Previous research has shown that single mothers receiving social assistance experience vulnerability, and how they perceive it is affected by how they are treated by their social secretaries.
