Nätkränkningar är ett växande problematiskt fenomen i dagens samhälle. Många ungdomar upplever att de blir kränkta på sociala medier, både av bekanta och icke bekanta personer. Studien syftar till att lyfta fram hur motstridiga normer kan tänkas ha en inverkan på ungdomars resonemang kring nätkränkningar och bygger på fem fokusgruppintervjuer med ungdomar. Resultatet visar att ungdomarna anser att alla har valfrihet kring vilka selfies de publicerar på sociala medier, samtidigt som de som utsatts för nätkränkningar ibland får skylla sig själva. Friheten som ungdomarna anser att alla har rätt till är inte alltid på lika villkor eller förbehållslös, det tycks finnas olika normer för olika personer, bland annat killar och tjejer.

Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka hur det såg ut för vuxna med kognitiv funktionsnedsättning vad gällde mediekompetens. Jag ville se på vilket sätt it-verktyg användes och ville försöka förstå om det fanns något som kulle kunna påverka mediekompetensen i positiv riktning.Teori: Det fanns stora brister kring kunskap om hur människor med funktionsnedsättning använde it-teknik samt vad användarna själva upplevde som hinder och hur de själva tyckte att de påverkades av it-politiken. Uppföljningen av hur it-teknik användes av människor med funktionsnedsättning var nästan obefintlig.Arbete och utbildning spelade stor roll för graden av mediekompetens. Användning av internet ökade. 2011 hade 88% av Sveriges invånare över 16 år tillgång till internet och 69% använde internet varje dag.

How can you use social media in public relations?The information which is being presented in this thesis is based on academic reports, interviews and research on social media blogs and lectures. It is a qualitative approach since the purpose is to get a deeper understanding for the subject in question.

I detta arbete har jag undersökt hur diskussionen om niqab har sett ut i Frankrike, Storbritannien och Sverige. Jag har även undersökt olika lagar som till exempel religionsfrihet och mänskliga rättigheter. För att få en ökad förståelse om länder kan förbjuda niqab. Jag har samlat in mina data genom artiklar som jag hämtat från databaser som CSA Social Sciences, PsycInfo och Social Services Abstracts, tidningsartiklar som publicerats i Dagens Nyheter samt protokoll från riksdagens hemsida. Jag har även läst litteratur om islam för att få en djupare förståelse för hur religionen ser ut.

From the clients perspective it´s very important to get possibility to an equivalent and correct assessment. Even if it´s an individual assessment the individual social worker´s assessment should not be different than other social worker´s, this from two aspects ? quality and the rule of law.

Introduktion: Tandvårdsrädsla innebär ett psykiskt och fysiskt lidande för individen. Rädslan för tandvården grundas i olika företeelser: tidigare upplevelser från tandvården och påverkan från förälder. Tandvården har en betydande roll till att kunna lindra rädslan. Syfte: Att kartlägga vilka behandlingsmetoder som beskrivs i litteraturen för att lindra tandvårdsrädsla. Frågeställningar: Vilka behandlingsmetoder används för att lindra tandvårdsrädsla? Metod: Litteraturstudie Resultat: Kognitiv beteendeterapi (KBT) är en lyckad metod för att behandla tandvårdsrädsla då KBT går till botten med vad som ligger bakom rädslan. Många av deltagarnas rädsla för tandvården minskade med KBT.

In recent years cognitive training in order to improve cognitive abilities have becomeincreasingly popular and a lot of research has been conducted within this field. The natural agingprocess has a negative effect on many of our cognitive abilities and this relationship also has a strongconnection with hearing loss. Elderly with hearing loss is therefore a group that could benefit fromcognitive training. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate different types of cognitivetraining directed towards working memory in older adults and to examine the results observedregarding efficacy of this type of training and its transfer effect. Method: A literature reviewconsisting of 17 scientific articles published between 2005-2014.

Många drabbas av social ångest. Vikt och kroppsuppfattning relaterar till social ångest men sambandet behöver tydliggöras. Syftet med studien var att se hur mycket av variationen i social ångest över tid som kan förklaras av vikt-, och kroppsrelaterade mått, samt undersöka könsskillnader. Studien var longitudinell och baserades på en enkätundersökning vid två insamlingstillfällen med ett års mellanrum (N=361). Resultatet visade att upplevd övervikt, felaktigt upplevd övervikt, kön och kroppsnöjdhet tillsammans förklarade 7 % av variationen i social ångest över tid.

Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

This master thesis deals with events, dynamics and problems of mediated information seeking within the context of a new information service called "Book a librarian". The study, based on a survey and interviews both in academic and public libraries and participant observations in academic libraries, has its theoretical base in the cognitive theory of information retrieval interaction. The cognitive view is used to throw light upon the need of an ongoing dialogue during the session in order to detect the information needs of the user and to conduct a successful retrieval of information. The communicative interaction is seen as threepart interaction between the intermediary, the user and the information system, where the current cognitive states of all three participants are involved. The study shows that the cognitive obstacles for a successful mediation and information retrieval are mostly connected to participants current knowledge of the subject and of the retrieval techniques.

Unemployment and long term unemployment is a reality for a large number of people in Sweden. This may be the result of structural changes in the labor market, but involves a wide range of issues. Along with other actors, the social services are obliged to support the long term unemployed to find a job. The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the work done by social workers towards the long term unemployed, 25-49 years old, in two municipalities. We performed altogether six qualitative interviews.

Uppsatsens syfte är att besvara vad som föranleder våldsamma yttringar, likt upploppen i Paris 2005 och Rosengård 2005. Jämförelsen mellan Paris och Rosengård medför en följdfråga om det finns liknande tendenser i Rosengård att fullskaliga upplopp likt de i Paris kan äga rum.Vi använder oss av en teori som bygger på att det saknas tillit mellan etniska grupper och majoritetsbefolkningen som kombinerat med en social utsatthet bildar en problematisk bild. Dessa två faktorer, brist av tillit och utsatthet, skapar ett spelrum för missnöje vilket kan yttra sig i våldsamheter. Det förefaller för oss vara faktorer vilka livnär sig av varandra, likt en ond cirkel. Variation finns emellertid mellan olika områden, där skillnader i graden av misstro och utsatthet visar på två olika situationer.

The purpose with this essay is to take part of the process when a family is placed on the family-institution, Trollbacken. We want to know what makes the social welfare secretaries place a family in institutional care. Has Trollbacken lived up to the social welfare secretary expectations and are the social welfare secretaries following Trollbackens recommendation regarding the follow up treatment. We also want to know to what value the social welfare secretary assigns Trollbackens investigation and are they able to see changes in the family due to the placing on Trollbacken. The method is qualitative and is based on interviews from six social welfare secretaries that work around and in West Sweden.

The purpose with our essay was to increase our knowledge about what social workers, with experience from working with drug addicts, perceive as the explanations to a person stopping the abuse and succeed in staying drug free. Our framing of the question was:- How do social workers define the term drug free?- How big a roll do the social worker believes she/he has in the process in which a person stops abusing drugs?- How do the social worker work with a person towards getting that person drug free?- What do the social worker believe to be the reason why a person stops abusing drugs?- What do the social worker perceive as helpful for a person to stay drug free?We did qualitative interviews with six social workers. Our main conclusion was that it is difficult to define the term drug free. The reason for stropping the drug abuse can vary, it can be the family situation, "hitting rock bottom", finding love or tiring.
