Enligt den sociokulturella kunskapssynen är det genom interaktion med andra som barnet utvecklas och lär sig, kunskap skapas i gemenskap med andra. Flertalet studier visar att samverkan i grupp leder till vinster inte bara i elevers engagemang och kunskapsinhämtning, utan även i social kompetens, och i våra styrdokument framgår det tydligt att grupparbete är en viktig del av elevernas utveckling i skolan. Metoden är dock komplex, och det krävs noggrann och medveten planering för att man ska nå alla vinster. Ivan D Steiner, professor i socialpsykologi, pekar på uppgiftens utformning och gruppens val av arbetssätt som de viktigaste faktorerna för att ett grupparbete ska leda till goda resultat, och har utformat en typologi där han urskiljer fem olika typer av uppgifter: additiv, disjunktiv, konjunktiv, kompensatorisk och komplementär. Syftet med min studie var att, utifrån Steiners typologi av uppgifter, studera om uppgiftens utformning och elevgruppens val av arbetsmetod påverkar hur eleverna når de avsedda kunskapsmålen.

The aim of this study was to increase our knowledge about how the ?Conversational-contact with the social services? is experienced by the parents who attend it. The research was based on a qualitative method consisting of four individual interviews.Main issues of the study:? The parents experience of the content of the meetings with the social workers? Do the parents experience that the conversational-contact has contributed to some changes in their lives?Results indicated that all parents were positiv to the conversational-contact. Afterwards they felt more secure and stable both as persons and in their role as parents.

This essay aims to examine and compare Swedish and Norwegian social work with children. It is a comparative study between two social welfare offices, in districts with similar population and problems, one located in Stockholm and one in Oslo. The main questions were; how is the work organized and carried out, what type of help and assistance is available and what kind of discretion and powers do the social workers have. In our essay we used qualitative methods mostly based on interviews, vignette questionnaires and documents, but also written research. In our analysis we used modern organisation theory and street level bureaucracy to seek explanations.The two welfare offices have similarities and differences.

Social inlärning influeras av interaktioner, eller observationer, av en artfrände eller dennes produkter. Beteendet och närvaron av en artfrände kan påverka beteendet hos en individ, vilket i sin tur kan leda till överföring av nya beteendemönster i en population. De domesticerade djurens kapacitet för social inlärning, samt effekterna av detta, är stora frågor inom husdjurens skötsel och välfärd. För värphöns är det viktigt att undersöka om skadliga beteendemönster, som kannibalism och fjäderplockning, är resultat av social inlärning. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att granska den domesticerade hönans (Gallus gallus domesticus) kapacitet för att dra lärdom via social inlärning.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur elever i skolår 4 kommunicerar med hjälp av ett matematiskt problem i mindre grupp. Vid undersökningen riktas uppmärksamheten mot vilka matematiska ord och begrepp eleverna använder sig av och vilka strategier eleverna uppvisar i sin kommunikation. Eleverna nivågrupperas med hjälp av matematikläraren för att kunna göra en jämförelse mellan gruppernas begreppsanvändning. Utifrån detta är studiens syfte även att undersöka om nivågruppering bidrar till skilda strategier och sätt att kommunicera inom matematik. För att få svar på våra frågeställningar använde vi oss av en kvalitativ empirisk undersökning innehållande både observationer och intervjuer.

This essay describes social workers view on the action contact person. The study was qualitative and six social workers were interviewed on the topic. The effort contact person were chosen as the object for this study since it is the most common action given to young people, despite the lack of research about this subject. The result was analyzed out of conduct action theory and the theory of street level bureaucrats as well as scientific research in this area. The result of this study shows that most of the social workers consider the action as positive.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate the legal position for employers concerning protection against what employees can express about one?s employer in social media.It may regard dissatisfaction concerning employment, tort or so-called whistleblowing. The spread through social media may be comprehensive and thus cause more damage to the employer.Employees within the public sector as well as in the private are protected by the liberty of speech, which is constitutional, even the protection of sources or the right to criticize can offer some protection. This gives the employees the possibility to widely express themselves in private social media as long as it can?t be classified as a violation, which per se is very rare.However, certain differences between the both sectors will be pointed out.There are still no constitutional rights regarding social media, but a grey area has emerged concerning the legal position.

Det övergripande syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur musikundervisningen i El Sistema fungerar som ett socialt verktyg med utgångspunkt från en nyetablerad El Sistema-skola i en förort till Stockholm. Min utgångspunkt har varit att undersöka El  Sistemas arbetssätt som ett verktyg för social utveckling i samhället. För att kunna göra detta har jag försökt sätta mig in i de bakomliggande idéerna till El Sistema och förutsättningarna för undervisningen. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ forskningsmetod där observationer med låg struktur, deltagande observationer och en semistrukturerad intervju har används.  Undersökningen är gjord på en nyetablerad så kallad växtplats inom El Sistema, Sverige,  i en mångkulturell förort till Stockholm.De metoder jag har använt mig av har varit deltagande observationer av musiklärare i den dagliga musikundervisningen på en nyetablerad El Sistema-skola samt av så kallades VänsDays, musikträffar med fika för El Sistema-familjer på onsdagar samt en semi-strukturerad intervju med en El Sistema-pedagog.

We aim to develop knowledge of how new technology, in this case social media, can contribute to how sports fans interact with their idols. Therefore our framing of a question is to present how fans experience their contact with mixed martial arts (MMA) & ultimate fighting championship (UFC) through social media platforms. To specify our study, we also have a supplement question with in which way sports fans uses social media.We have chosen to conduct a qualitative study consisting of interviews and data observations of websites, related to the organization UFC, to approach our main question. We have interviewed nine randomly selected people with one common interest - MMA/UFC. With an implant of theories, consisting of social media, fandom and lurking, on the result of the interview and website data, we try to come closer to a conclusion for our intention with this thesis.Our conclusion is that the interviewed fans express that through the usage of social media, they feel like they have come closer to UFC.

This 1940?s group has been growing on the social networks such as Facebook, but their usage is not active. The aim with my study is to highlight, illuminate and examine the social and maternal health care motivational work of pregnant women with a risk or abuse of alcohol and / or drugs, and what actions can be considered for these women. In addition, the aim is to explore how social services and maternity care might interact in this type of case. The aim is to convey the subjective experience of each of the interviewees. For the purposes of this study, I have chosen to use the qualitative research method. I have interviewed social workers in individual and family care, and midwives.

The purpose of this essay was to study which arguments social workers used in the basis of their estimation concerning young people of the age 13-18 given an aid, a contact person (swe. kontaktperson). The purpose was also to describe how the legal paragraph, regarding contact person, is regulated and then compare the arguments made by the social worker with the intentions expressed by the legislator. To answer our purposes we studied the law and the intentions expressed by the legislator, which is the foundation for the legal paragraph that regulates contact person, 3 chap. 6 §.

I denna studie undersöks hur sånglärare verksamma på kulturskola, gymnasiets estetiska program och folkhögskola beskriver de metoder och moment de använder då de bedriver sångundervisning i grupp. Vidare presenterar studien vilka för- och nackdelar såväl forskare som sånglärare anser finnas med gruppundervisning som undervisningsform samt vilka ramfaktorer som spelar roll för dessa upplevelser. För studien har kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med fem sånglärare som alla har olika erfarenheter av undervisningsformen. I deras tjänster bedriver de olika typer av gruppundervisning och ramfaktorerna ser olika ut för lärarna då de är har olika styrdokument och resurser att förhålla sig till. Den bild som sånglärarna ger stämmer till övervägande del överens med den litteratur och forskning som finns inom ämnet.

This study aims to compare two ethnographies of organizational culture ? one from the discipline of Social Anthropology and one from the discipline of Organizational Studies ? considering their purpose, their method, and their concept of culture. Despite big similarities, or perhaps thanks to the similarities, some fundamental differences are made visible. The discipline of Organizational Studies has, compared to that of Social Anthropology, regarding the research method being used, less focus on, and less participation in, the informal social life of the organizational culture of the study. Regarding the concept of culture the Organizational Studies consider culture containing more of unity, stability and clear boundaries, compared to Social Anthropology.
