Internet has made information more easy to get, but also more difficult to retrieve. There is a need for information retrieval systems that assure accurate, reliable and up to date information. Quite a number of both commercial and non commercial search services has been developed on the Internet. We have made a qualitative study of one for-pay product in particular, NetS k, produced by BTJ (Bibliotekstj nst), Lund. It is a database that contains collected, evaluated and classified links, and is especially developed to suit public librarians in Sweden.

En miljon människor i Sverige dricker för mycket alkohol vilket kan leda till försämrad hälsa, sjukdom och skador. Sjuksköterskor möter patienter i olika omvårdnadssituationer inom hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa vad som underlättar och vad som hindrar sjuksköterskor att ställa frågor om alkoholkonsumtion i möten med patienten. Litteraturstudien baserades på 10 artiklar funna via de två databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Artiklarna har granskats och analyserats och i resultatet framkom tre kategorier vilka har huvudtema och undertema.

This qualitative study examines news values in local journalism. The study is based on the results of five personal interviews with journalists and editors at the newspaper Nerikes Allehanda. The purpose of this paper is to examine how news values is made in the editorial process. The essay also intends to compare possible differences and similarities between news for web and printed news, the focus will consistently be locally.This will be explored through qualitative interviews with local journalists and editors. Bakgrund: Stroke är en av de mest förekommande sjukdomarna i västvärlden och innefattar en stor grupp patienter. Poststroke depression är den vanligaste komplikationen efter insjuknande i stroke och är underbehandlat och underdiagnostiserat. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur sjuksköterskor kan identifiera tidiga tecken på depression hos patienter som överlevt stroke. Metoden som vi använt är en litteraturstudie med artikelgranskning. Analysen vi använt oss av är en innehållsanalys baserad på Graneheim och Lundmans (2003) beskrivning.

Syfte: I och med att det står tydligt i den nya skollagen och i Lgr 11 att elever som riskerar att inte nå kunskapsmålen ska utredas, kommer det att krävas tydlighet inom skolan vad gäller kartläggning/utredning av behov av särskilt stöd. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på om och hur pedagoger med specialpedagogiska arbetsuppgifter kartlägger elever i åk 3-9 med sent upptäckta läs och skrivsvårigheter samt hur arbetsgången är och om det finns en färdig plan för det.Teori: En elev som fungerar normalt i talspråkssammanhang men har svårt att läsa och/eller skriva har läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Glentow (2006) beskriver vad läs- och skrivsvårigheter är. Svårigheterna benämns som generella eller specifika. Specifika läs- och skrivsvårigheter måste kartläggas.

Title: Notification of animal welfareAuthor: Helen ÖhlundThe purpose of this study was to examine the routines of the county administrations in Sweden when it comes to receiving notification from the public about the welfare of animals. According to Jordbruksverket at least 50 % of the screening of animal welfare should be based on routine controls on existing farmers. Today the routine controls only reach a 43 % average for the whole country. A big part of today?s result depends on the amount of time it takes the administrators of animal welfare to process the notifications from the public.

Old people's life situation when receiving municipal help and care in theirlast period of life is sparsely investigated from their own perspective. Thepurpose of this study was focused on the thoughts of the aged people andtheir personal experiences on what quality is within the geriatric care. Inthis qualitative study, 10 elderly people aged 75-90 years wereinterviewed from 3 different nursing homes within Solna Municipality.Qualitative interviews, with the emphasis on their present life situationespecially what brought about a good life, were performed. The interviewswere analysed using qualitative content analysis. The implication of theterm ?meaningful existence? is individual and differs from person toperson.

IntroduktionVåld i nära relationer är ett allvarligt samhällsproblem. Tre av fyra anmälda våldsbrott motkvinnor äger rum i hemmet. Våldet leder till ett omfattande lidande för kvinnor och barn.22-35 % av alla kvinnor som söker vård på sjukhus gör det till följd av våld i nära relation.SyfteSyftet med fördjupningsarbetet var att belysa lidandet hos de kvinnor som utsätts förmisshandel av sin partner, samt vilka omvårdnadsåtgärder som sjuksköterskan kan användasig av för att stödja dessa kvinnor.MetodFördjupningsarbetet var en litteraturstudie. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar söktes och bearbetades.ResultatMisshandlade kvinnor vill bli frågade om våld. De berättar om någon inleder.

Riskkapitalinvesteringar är ett relativt nytt fenomen som uppstått under de senaste årtionden och är ett sätt för bolag att få in nytt kapital till företaget. Investeringarna som görs innehar oftast en hög risk men ger en tämligen hög avkastning om projektet går som förutsett. Studien gick ut på att utforska hur riskkapitalbolag genomför investeringar samt hur bedömningar görs vid ett beslutsfattande. Det gjordes även en observation på vilka påverkningsfaktorer som existerar samt vilka effekter dessa har på investeringsprojekten.Totalt utnyttjades fyra teoretiska modeller för analys och jämförelse, samt för att framta en egen analysmodell. Det empiriska resultatet tydde på att investeringsprocesserna liknade varandra och följde teorierna, dock med en viss avvikelse.

Syftet med denna studie var att kartlägga screeningsinstrument som mäter nutritionsstatus hos kritiskt sjuka samt se hur de används i vården. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie. Artiklar söktes i databaserna Cinahl och Medline. Tretton artiklar identifierades, efter kvalitetsgranskning, till studien. I resultatet framkom flera nutritionsscreeningsinstrument och tre utav dessa; SGA, MUST och NRS 2002, var mer anpassade för screening av kritiskt sjuka.

In Sweden, lowest acceptable haemoglobin levels in blood donators are 125g/L for women and 135g/L for men for a test sample taken in the beginning of the blood donation. Levels, which are 10g/L lower, are accepted if the sample is taken after the blood donation. Earlier studies show that the haemoglobin level decreases for a person that is lying down.The two aims of this study were to examine how much the haemoglobin levels change during blood donation and to examine if the photometrical instrument Pronto-7TM shows equivalent results to that of the established method Cell-Dyn Sapphire.In the study, 120 blood donors participated. Blood samples were taken in the beginning and in the end of the donation. Analyses by Pronto-7TM were done before and after the donation.The haemoglobin level decreased significantly during the blood donation.

 Abstract: Facebook in the Public Sector - qualitative interviewstudy with The Swedish maritime Administration, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, the Swedish prison and Probation services and the municipality of Katrineholm about their precense on Facebook.In my bachelor?s thesis I have studied how three government authority and one municipality uses or don?t use Facebook in their communication towards the citizens. I have chosen to study four different cases, to see if there are any significant similarities or differences between how the different services are working with their communication. I have chosen to explore my cases through semi-structured qualitative interviews, where I met communications officers of every organisation face to face.I have found out that there is not one right way to communicate through Facebook, every organisations decisions must be based on their own mission, aims and objectives. And I have seen that both the transmitter and the receiver need to mature into the new acting of this new channel - Facebook..

The aim of the study was to understand how an elementary school interpreted and worked with the law Skollagen (SFS 2010:800) concerning special needs in school additionally in which way a neuropsychiatric diagnosis might interact with the interpretation. To answer the aim we used following research problems: How does the school define the term special needs and special resources itself? How does the school identify pupils with special needs and work with them? In which way does the neuropsychiatric diagnosis affect the interpretation of the law concerning special needs when it comes to deciding whether a pupil is in need of special recourses? Skollagen (SFS 2010:800) does not define special recourses and does not indicate how the school should use them. We were therefore interested in how an elementary school defined the term and decided to work with it. We based our study upon interviews with 6 respondents whom are central in the process of providing special resources for children in school.

In this paper the authors are focusing on people that work in psychiatric acute care. How do they identify the individual that is in most need of acute care? How do they judge in this kind of cases?    The foundation in this study is in the qualitative method. The material to this study has been collected by doing qualitative interviews with six people in different professions and positions in psychiatric acute care.   The material that we collected from these six qualitative interviews has been analysed with help from Sherif?s and Hovland?s (1961) Social judgement theory.
