The main researchquestion is:?Did the Swedish Moderate party and the Swedish Social Democratic partyideologically position themselves closer in the year of 2002 than they did in 2010within the health care policy area?The research design chosen for this study can be labelled as a comparative case study wherethe two political parties party programs and election manifestos that were current in the yearof 2002 and 2010 are studied. This is done to give a better view of ideological change.

The aim of this research paper was to examine the help required by refugee children with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to this, we also examined the help the refugee children are currently receiving. We have examined this from the perspective of the theory of the ecology of human development. The method we used was qualitative and we conducted eleven profound interviews with professionals working with the target group in question. The essential questions were; which needs, according to the professionals, do refugee children with PTSD have, what characterises the professional's work to help the children and what possibilities and obstacles there are in giving the children optimal help.The results strongly conclude that it is important for the children's development to have at least one supportive adult in their surrounding, a positive experience at school and during leisure activities.

Syftet med undersökningen är att kartlägga samförståndet mellan lärare och elever, vad gäller det praktiska arbetet i den naturvetenskapliga undervisningen. Vi har med hjälp av enkäter till lärare och elever genomfört en kvantitativ undersökning. Resultatet av denna visar att det i samtliga klasser i liten utsträckning diskuteras varför man genomför en praktisk uppgift. Detta till trots att tre av fyra lärare hävdar att praktiskt arbete är viktigt för elevernas lärande, vilket även eleverna tycker. Vidare visar resultatet att det ofta förekommer en genomgång före det praktiska arbetet, s.k.

Umeå Universitet är en av Umeås största arbetsgivare med 4200 anställda. Sjuktalen totalt för Universitetet har varit och är fortfarande låga, runt tre procent. Den äldsta åldersklass har dom högsta sjuktalen, med stöd av den informationen beslutades om satsningar på äldre arbetstagare. Universitetshälsan (fhv) fick i uppdrag att erbjuda hälsokontroller, under tre år, till alla anställda som fyller 55 år.Vid hälsokontrollen mättes den upplevda arbetsförmågan med arbetsförmåge index (AFM-index) För att bedöma arbetsförmågan hos undersökta 55-åringar i relation till övriga åldersklasser vid universitetet skickades enkäter med post till tjugofem män och kvinnorfödda ?46, -56 samt ?61.Resultatet av undersökningen visade att upplevda arbetsförmågan låg högre för alla åldersklasser hos båda könen jämfört med den referens som AFM manualen innehåller för jämförbara yrken.

The northern province of Sweden has in both literature and film been depictured as something foreign and mythical, unlike the rest of the country. It has been my purpose to show in this essay that the systematic categorization of Norrland and its literature reveals multiple criteria known to define the colonial era. By reading the novel Stallo by author Stefan Spjut with postcolonial structures in mind I aim to show how the author uses Swedish mythology and through the presence of The Other criticizes colonial structures in place to this day. By examining the gothic atmosphere I intend to indicate how the trolls in the novel figures as both a horror element as well as a representation of nature itself. It is my belief that the author by further reinforcing the mythological in relation to Norrland addresses the problem at hand.

In the rural districts of Sweden, especially in Skåne, the political party Sverigedemokraterna is gaining more and more territory. The aim of this thesis is to examine if the presence of Sverigedemokraterna has had an effect on the other political parties in Kävlinge and Svedala municipality, with focus on images and collective identity. The aim is also to examine what influence Sverigedemokraterna might have on the political agenda of the two municipalities. In order to be able to fulfil the purpose of the essay, we chose to combine three kinds of qualitative methods; interviews, observations and literature studies. We used theories about images and collective identity to examine in which way the municipal politicians tend to classify Sverigedemokraterna in terms of different images and if their presence has effected the other politicians in terms of forming a collective identity.

The increased popularity of e-books in the Swedish publiclibraries started a debate in newspapers and library journalsbecause of the increase in costs, which this popularity hadled to. The main subject of the debate was the businessmodel provided by the e-book vendor Elib, which accordingto some ruins the libraries financially. In this thesis, opinionarticles have been analyzed using a theoretical model ofcultural politics by the Danish Library and Informationscience researcher Dorthe Skot-Hansen. The results of thestudy showed that people from the library field, publishersand authors were the ones contributing to the debate. Theanalysis of the articles showed that the model of culturalpolitics which consists of four general motives: socialchange, education, economic growth and entertainment wasvisible in the articles.

In the following essay I have read the drama Natten är dagens mor (The Night is the Day's Mother) by Lars Norén. My main focus has been on the older brother Georg. By using post structuralist gender theories I have sought answers to the following two questions: How is Georg's masculinity constructed and maintained, when seen from a gender perspective? What power structures arise between Georg's and the other men's masculinities? In my analysis I have approached Georg via three perspectives. First, I have by the help of Judith Butler's theory concerning gender performative actions tried to define the men's gender codes.

Rapporten behandlar hur interaktiva webbtjänster påverkar kundrelationen. Undersökningen omfattar en fallstudie på FCC Software samt intervjuer med tre av företagets kunder. Företagets befintliga tjänster har legat till grund för undersökningen. Då befintlig litteratur anser att företag inte använder den interaktiva potential som Internet ger har undersökningen fokuserat på hur de interaktiva tjänster som företaget tillhandahållet uppfattats hos kunderna. Undersökningen har genomförts med ett perspektiv som omfattat företag och kund för att se vilka likheter och skillnader som fanns mellan de båda parterna i avseende på hur tjänsterna påverkar kundrelationen.

The Swedish government ratified on May 1 2009 an amendment of marital law, resulting in same-sex marriage becoming legalized. With the rights of the Christian Swedish state church to officiate weddings originating from the same law, the church was thereby faced with two options: Either officially include same-sex couples in the Christian concept of holy matrimony and keep the right to officiate weddings; or give up the right to officiate weddings altogether. An official decision to accept the terms was reached on October 22 2009, but not without being preceded by an agitated medial debate.This research attempts to analyze the arguments of the debate in three stages: In the first stage the arguments are categorized according to their respective ideological standpoint. In the second stage these categories are examined from post-modern, social constructivist and socialization theory perspectives. Based on this, the third stage sees the arguments analyzed from a viewpoint based in the Copenhagen school concept of securization.The research concludes that the debate does not only simply feature two sides with differences of opinion; but rather that the arguments of the two opposing sides are founded in a common view of the other side as a fundamental threat to ones conception of a sound society..

In this thesis the construction of identity within the EU is discussed. A thesis problem in three dimensions is used to explain the purpose of the construction, its realization and the consequences of such identity. These aspects show the complexity of the problems related to identity construction on a structural level.By using a post-modern and a social constructivist theoretical approach identity is presented as socially constructed by discourse. The theory of discourse makes it possible to analyze the development of an identity forming discourse within the EU and its status today.With an approach inspired by critical theory, we use discourse analysis as a methodological tool to illustrate the ideas that govern discourse, and in what way it is related to the social reality.The analysis states that the purpose of identity constructing is the striving for legitimacy. Without identification, the legitimacy is threatened.

The purpose of this essay is to study causes for the lack of political trust in Europe and especially in Sweden. The essay starts with a presentation of two theories about the reasons for low political trust. Robert D. Putnam among others presents a theory that gives social capital an important role when viewing the low political trust. As Putnam sees it a person that participates in any kind of organization, political or not, develop trust for other human beings that in the long run affects political trust.

Den svenska mobiltelemarknaden har under årens gång innehållit endast ett fåtal företag. Mobiltelemarknaden har på grund av den svaga konkurrenssituation kommit att karakteriseras som en oligopolmarknad. Den svenska Post och Telestyrelsen har genomfört en rad konkurrensfrämjande åtgärder för att stärka marknadens konkurrens. Ett strategiskt viktigt beslut var att de nätägande operatörerna från och med den 1 juli år 2000 blev skyldiga att hyra ut ledig nätkapacitet till tredjepartsoperatörer, så kallade tjänstetillhandahållare. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att göra en jämförelse av marknadskoncentrationen på den svenska mobiltelemarknaden, med avseende på GSM-nätet, för åren 1999 och 2004.

Abstrakt: Kommunikation mellan medborgare och folkvalda har en central funktion för att demokratin skall hållas levande. Denna kommunikation bereds det möjlighet för bland annat via IT-stöd i olika former, varav e-post är den vanligaste. Denna studie visar dock att nivån på elektronisk kommunikation mellan medborgare och kommunalpolitiker är låg, trots att politikerna är positiva till fenomenet. Denna studie, som är baserad på intervjuer med skånska kommunpolitiker från fyra olika kommuner, fann att elektronisk kommunikation i första hand kan ökas genom att på olika sätt påverka medborgarnas vilja till att ta denna kontakt men att folkvalda också bör ta till sig tanken att mer aktivt söka kontakt med medborgarna. Vårt förslag är att denna kontakt tas via forum som är av mindre politisk karaktär men där medborgarna naturligt befinner sig.
