The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the problems caused by students that characterize themselves as highly sensitive. The issue of high sensitivity and other categorizations are fiercely debated in the research. This empirical study was conducted in light of literature about high sensitivity, pedagogies, and interview methods. The students answered questions about what makes them categorize themselves and how they believe that the categorization affects their learning and social development. They also responded to questions about what they consider appropriate measures to improve their situation.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur elever och deras lärare uppfattar kemi-laborationer. Genom litteraturstudier har jag sökt vad som ligger till grund för det laborativa arbetssättet. Jag har därefter använt mig av en kvalitativ metod och intervjuat sju elever samt deras klasslärare, i år fyra och fem, om hur de upplevt ett antal kemilaborationer och vad de lärt sig genom att utföra dessa. De flesta elever tyckte att det var roligt att laborera. De kom ihåg vad de hade gjort, men visste oftast inte varför resultatet blev som det blev.

This study aimed to explore how 31 collage students' cognitive performance and their ability to create false memories were affected by the exposure of an extraneous background noise. The studies main hypotheses were based on previous research on how extraneous noise affect the cognitive ability and the creation of false memories: 1) that an extraneous background noise increases the ability to create false memories, 2) that an extraneous background noise impairs the learning of cognitive information, 3) that an extraneous background noise contributes to an increased representation of fictional words, 4) that an extraneous background noise impedes the ability to understand speech . The results showed a tendency in which false memories increased in the condition without background noise, a result which goes in the opposite direction of the hypothesis. Furthermore, the result supported the hypothesis that the extraneous background noise impairs the learning of cognitive information. The results also showed that there was no effect between the conditions regarding the representation of fictional information.

The study focuses on mapping how well prepared the counties in the west region of Sweden is in case of restructuring. The study explores what kind of activities and routines that contributes to prepare the organization for restructuring. The study also aims to investigate the effect of precedent restructuring, and if the counties who experienced restructuring are more prepared than others.The research within the field of restructuring characterizes of an evaluating nature and the focus has been after the restructuring occurred. There have also been a lot of studies of the negative consequences on individual and organizational level. Since downsizing is a frequently used method by management despite its consequences is it important to investigate how organizations can learn and thereby be more prepared for restructuring.

This study has been executed at the Public Employment Office, an institution that has beensubject for much debate during the last couple of years. The government has instructed theLabour Market Board to change the Public Employment Office toward a more effectiveorganization. This study examines one of the Public Employment Offices that are included in apilot project that aims to improve and develop work methods with the objective to become amore service minded organization. From this starting point we have investigated which effect thisorganizational change has had on the employee within this organization and within the pilotproject. In addition we investigate whether attitudes of the unemployed has an effect on thestaff´s work situation.

Utvecklingen av smarta telefoner och sociala medier har gjort det enklare för människor att kommunicera med varandra. Detta är något som företag inte varit sena med att ta till förfogande. Då det idag anses som en självklarhet att företag befinner sig på sociala medier har intresset växt för hur mobilmarknadsföring går till. Samtidigt är det intressant att se hur användarna av applikationen ställer sig till detta fenomen.Syftet med denna uppsats var att ta reda på vad användare tycker om företag som använder sig av Instagram i marknadsföringssyfte. Det som undersöktes var användarnas beteenden, vanor och åsikter kring företags användning av applikationen.Undersökningen utfördes med hjälp av kvantitativ metod för att samla in data kring användarna, en enkät skickades ut via Facebook riktad till människor i åldern 15 till 30 år.

I vårt tolkningsarbete ser vi att vårt fallföretag, genom sina sociala aktiviteter, stimulerar till en ökad sammanhållning och som uppmuntrar till mångfald och interna stridigheterna, tävlingar, karriärstegar och konkurrens, mellan medarbetarna. Det framkommer tydligt för medarbetarna att det naturliga urvalet, de starkaste och mest kompetenta, ska ligga till grund för vem eller vilka som ska leda framtidens ”byslagsmål” om marknadsandelarna. Genom de sociala aktiviteterna främjar ledningen på ett naturligt sätt såväl framväxandet av och acceptansen för hierarkier och normerande strukturer inom företaget samtidigt som de garanterar tillväxten och bereder vägen för de nya ledarna.

Studiens syfte var att belysa vuxenstuderandes upplevelser av att göra en lärstilsanalys samt beskriva dess betydelse för lärandet. Vår avsikt var också att fokusera på deras åsikter om den information de fått innan analysen och det uppföljande samtalet med läraren. Vi ville även belysa de vuxenstuderandes tankar kring användbarheten av att göra lärstilsanalyser. Kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med sju vuxenstuderande på omvårdnadsprogrammet, förlagt till en mindre ort i södra Sverige. Det framkom att de vuxenstuderandes upplevelser av att göra en lärstilsanalys i huvudsak var positiva, trots att flertalet inte hade förändrat sitt sätt att lära i någon större utsträckning.

This study focuses on oral communication in the classroom involving discussion and dialogue amongst pupils, but also between teacher and pupil. The overall aim is to study the choices regarding the group composition and working methods that might occur in four individual teachers? lessons plans with the intention of increasing the pupils? knowledge through oral communication. The main focus is to explore what the teachers think of the choices they make and how they believe these changes affect the pupils. It is also focused on how the teachers perceive their pupils? learning is improved by oral communication and how they incorporate all pupils, especially the pupils who rarely participate in classroom activity.The methods used are qualitative studies using interviews and observations.

Jag beskriver i detta examensarbete FMT-metoden ? Funktionsinriktad MusikTerapi. Jag berättar också om arbetet med två av de adepter jag haft under min praktiktid i FMT-utbildningen. Den ena är en kvinna som drabbats av traumatisk hjärnskada, den andra en kvinna som fått diagnosen Maladaptiv stressreaktion. Mina frågeställningar är: Hur kan FMT stärka självkänslan, skapa en positiv kropps-uppfattning och nya handlingsmöjligheter hos personer med olika funktionsnedsättningar. Min slutsats är att personer genom FMT får den tid de behöver, och erbjuds goda förutsättningar, för att bearbeta och utveckla kroppens olika funktioner, med utgångspunkt ifrån sin egen utvecklingsnivå. Därigenom ger arbetet med FMT individer möjlighet att uppnå ökade handlingsmöjligheter, en positiv kroppsuppfattning och stärkt självkänsla..

The aim of this qualitative study was to investigate the participants experiences of a parent support group and the effect of their participation on their parental role from a learning perspective. As the parent support group takes place as a group activity, the focus was on the individual learning processes which, in turn, are influenced by both the group itself as well as the leaders of the group. The empirical data was collected from a focus group interview with four mothers, and analyzed using empowerment and coping theories. Based on the participants´ narratives, the result showed that the parent support group had a great social and pedagogic effect on the participants. As a result of the received knowledge in the group from both leaders as well as from other participants, they felt less stressed and more confident in their parental role.

The purpose of this study is to explore specific pedagogical activities that benefit the student's verbal language development and to learn more about how our schools use teaching methods to achieve the ambitions in the governing documents in Sweden. The aim is finding the correlation between theory, research, governing documents and the educational work in our schools. This study contains an empirical survey in intention to see how teachers, pupils and school administrators experience school activities, to see if those activities are formed with the intention for pupils to reach the learning goals according to the governing documents.The aim of this study has been achieved by relating empirical data with theories and previous research on conversation analysis. Goffman's and Norrby's research on the importance of dialogue and previous research on dialogicity studied by Dysthe, Vygotsky and Bakhtin are presented. Those are related to empirical data and show that most teachers realize the importance of integrating dialogues in daily activities and in different learning contexts.

The purpose of this thesis was to find out what experiences teachers have from using a class blog in teaching. What are the advantages and disadvantages by the use of blogs in education?I have used qualitative interviews with four teachers in grades 1 to 6 who have worked with a class blog in teaching between one and three years.The study has shown that teachers' experience is that the blog serves as motivation and promotes learning for many different pupils and that, together with other digital tools is more equal. The main benefits that teacher mention is the expanded concept of text that offers multiple forms of expression and the authentic reader, which makes it more real, important and meaningful. Other benefits that come up are that it helps students to see their learning and learn from and with each other.

My intention with this paper was to investigate how the teachers in pre-school thinks about the physical environment in pre-school. Both the significance for the pedagogical activity and the children?s involvement in the design. I have done five interviews with pre-school teachers. The result shows that the pre-school teachers consider that the size of the premises and the availability to the material is important factors for children?s development and learning.

En enkätundersökning skickades ut till verksamma pedagoger och riktade sig till lärare i grundskolan. Dessutom användes adekvat litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar inom området. Litteraturstudien visar på en splittrad syn gällande betydelsen av motorik för elevens lärande. Däremot framhålls att det finns ett indirekt samband.
