This master deals with the theme youth and public libraries. The essay is based on observationsand qualitative interviews with young people at the ages of 13 to 16 years old, whovisited the public library of Skara, employees at the library, and politicians in the community.The main issue in the study is; what is and what can be done to increase youth utilization ofpublic libraries. I have emphasized on the media stock, the organization of books, theenvironment and the staff of the library, marketing, specific target group, activities, andcooperation with both internal and external forces.Theories about youth culture and some projects concerning young peoples behaviour in librariesare also presented..

Syfte:Vårt syfte är att utreda om svenska förvaltare av etiska fonder påverkar utvecklingen av hållbarhetsredovisningen hos svenska börsföretag. I den mån de påverkar ska vi dessutom utreda vad de påverkar och hur. Metod:Uppsatsen är kvalitativ, deskriptiv och genomförs med användande av grundad teori (Glaser & Strauss). Empiriinsamlingen har huvudsakligen skett genom intervjuer. Teoretiska perspektiv:Det teoretiska ramverket består av de vidareutvecklingar av intressentteorin som utvecklats inom forskningsområden som angränsar vårt, institutionell teori efter bland andra Jönsson samt Porters och Chuas teorier om kvalitativ och kvantitativ information.

Medlemsutvecklingen inom golfbranschen nådde sin topp under 2004 och har sedandess haft en nedgående trend. Det har resulterat i en större tillgång av golfbanor irelation till efterfrågan från golfspelarna, vilket har lett till ekonomiska besvär förvissa aktörer inom branschen. Uppsatsen undersöker de bakomliggande orsakerna tillden negativa utvecklingen med hjälp av Porters Femkraftsmodell. De krafter somvisade sig påverka branschen mest var hotet från nya aktörer i form av klubbar somerbjuder billigt distansmedlemskap, kundernas förhållningssätt till verksamheternaoch hur aktörerna konkurrerar på den begränsade marknad som golfbranschen är. Hurklubbarna hanterar problematiken undersöktes med hjälp av en kvantitativenkätundersökning som spreds till klubbar i hela Sverige.

Under det nya seklets början har den svenska snusmarknaden karaktäriserats av en ökande konkurrens efter att under en lång period i princip ha varit en monopolmarknad för det tidigare statliga bolaget Swedish Match. Uppsatsen har syftat till att undersöka de inträdesbarriärer som uppstickarna mött i sina försök att penetrera en marknad som karaktäriseras av ovanligt hög varumärkeslojalitet, marknadsföringsförbud och i vissa fall distributionssvårigheter och därefter analysera hur dessa kan övervinnas med hjälp av marknadsföringsverktyg. Arbetet har en kvalitativ och hermeneutisk prägel och tar sin utgångspunkt i Michael Porters ?Barriers to entry?-modell, Kotlers ?Push- och Pull strategier? samt ?Marketing Mix?-modellen och fokuserar i första hand på bolagen Skruf Snus AB och Fiedler & Lundgren där nyckelpersoner intervjuats. Undersökningen visade att företagen använt sig av olika strategier för att penetrera inträdesbarriärerna med hjälp av marknadsföringsverktyg.

The purpose of this thesis is to explain why states obtain nuclear weapons and the role variousactors and interests play in the making of states´ nuclear policies. The main questions are asfollows: (1) What big theories exist concerning states obtaining nuclear weapon and nucleararmament in International Relations and what relevance do they have of the post cold-war period?,(2) What is the meaning of the perspective of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC)?, and (3)Arethere empirical studies which supports the existence of a MIC in the United States?The focus lies on actors and driving forces that are internal to states and it is also important toinvestigate if the theories have relevance for the post 9/11-era. The study uses the method ofqualitative literature-study with some quantitative segments. It is claimed that states might beinterested in justifying their behaviour in a morally appealing way and that real reasons may behidden.

Jag har använt mig av både primär (intervjuer) och sekundär data (hemsida, hållbarhetsrapport, företagstidning etc.) för att ta reda på hur företaget gör för att kunna konkurrera i branschen. Till de ämnen som genererats ur resultatet har teorier och modeller kopplats. Background: Mergers have been increasing during the latter part of the 1990s. In the Nordic region many previously national companies have joined their forces to create a new Nordic company. This will lead to many challenges when the companies are integrated.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the integration phase. Our goal is to study the integration of Cloetta Fazer and learn how the company can handle the two types of integration. Procedure: To be able to prove our assumptions, that were made on the basis of literature, we have collected empirical material by interviewing eight managers at Cloetta Fazer.

This degree project has been carried out with the cooperation of Etac Supply Center AB who is located in Anderstorp.It?s been Etac interest to develop a solution which helps the user of the wheelchair over obstacles. My task has been to develop a concept that solves the problem according to the requirement specification.In the rapport the reader can follow the development from an idea to a finished concept.

In 2009 transgendered persons were included in the Swedish law against discrimination. Prior to the inclusion a commission made an investigation of the necessity of such change in the law and how it could be designed. This essay focuses on the discourses regarding gender that appear in the law and the report written by the commission. Using theories by Judith Butler and discourse analysis inspired by Norman Fairclough it identifies two main discourses regarding gender: a two gender discourse and a queer discourse. The two discourses meet in the studied material in an antagonistic way, a conflict that is solved by separating the two and making one part of the law focus on gender and one on transgender.

This Thesis in Military Technology deals with experiences drawn from the forced introduction of Weapons Station 01, 2009. The work aims to identify the experiences regarding the forced procurement of military equipment to see how they can develop normal and fast procurement of equipment. The main conclusions of  this work, is to achieve greater capability and increase the military utility, are: -          Common objectives and priorities of stakeholders-          Response and joint types shall determine requirements for system-          Ensure an integrated project team also at lower levels-          Engage the integrated logistic support early in the materiel process-          Include Armed Forces staff as early as possible in the testing and validation-          Prioritize work to facilitate the rapid development of decision on use (BOA)-          Provide back up for increased redundancy in the mission area .

Problemformulering: Är informationen på prisjämförelsesidorna tillförlitlig samt oberoende av återförsäljare som kan ha intresse i att uppvisa partisk information?Syfte: Syftet är att, med hjälp av en explorativ undersökning samt användning av både kvantitativa och kvalitativa undersökningsmetoder, få klarhet i om informationen på prisjämförelsesidorna är tillförlitlig och därmed även oberoende av återförsäljare som kan ha intresse i att uppvisa partisk information.Metod: Vårt tillvägagångssätt har bestått av både en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ metod. Den kvantitativa metoden har grundats i två separata explorativa tvärsnittsstudier och den kvalitativa metoden har bestått av 7 strukturerade intervjuer.Vår ansats kan liknas vid en induktiv metod, då vi utgått från insamlad primärdata. Resultatet från dessa anknyts sedan till generella teorier. Undersökningsobjekt: Vi har valt att studera de tre prisjämförelsesidor som anser sig vara informationsoberoende: Compricer, Pricerunner och Prisjakt.Teori: Utifrån vår undersökning har vi valt teorier om marknadsföring på Internet, om e-handel, marknadsföringsmixen och slutligen Porters femkraftsmodell.
