I föreliggande antologi har vi undersökt några aspekter av välbefinnande. Vi presenterar och analyserar ett urval av företeelser som kan sägas syfta till att skapa välbefinnande och kan vara en del av individers identitetsskapande. Företeelserna vi har valt att studera är: relationer på Internet, heminredning, hälsa, husdjur, samt unga kvinnors tankar om Pornografi.Metoden vi har använt är kvalitativ, till grund för analysen ligger observationer och intervjuer. Vi har arbetat enligt grundad teori, det vill säga att vi från början inte hade några teoretiska utgångspunkter, utan vi har arbetat fram våra frågeställningar utifrån de data vi samlat in.Vi visar på att de olika företeelserna kan fungera som medel för att uppnå välbefinnande, men att de även kan orsaka det motsatta. Individernas förhållningssätt till dessa företeelser utgör också en del i deras identitetsskapande..

The aim of this study is to analyse how pornography is used in the American comics X-Men, published by Marvel under the authorship of Chris Claremont.I have applied Butler and MacKinnons theories about pornography as a performative speech, to this special art form. I have also investigated how censorship has influenced the comics evolution and whether it has affected the way women and sexual and ethnical minorities are represented. To corroborate how these theories apply, I have analysed three main female fig-ures in The X-Men comics - Storm, Phoenix and Shadowcat - and I have tried to identify how they relate to existing stereotypes.The conclusion of this essay is that the women characters in X-Men break the existing stereo-types and create new implications. This reinforces Butler?s theory about the possibility to re-verse hate speech and diminishes MacKinnons perspective of pornography as an imperative..

Through the collection and analysis of negotiations surrounding the gay magazine Destroyer, the intention of this paper is to identify norms of sexuality within a contemporary sex-radical discourse. These negotiations are collected from interviews with individuals whom, at the time of the inter-view, consider themselves or their politics sex-radical. In order to allow for a more general under-standing of the context in which these negotiations have come about, material about Swedish law is also included in this text, together with the interview material, and serves as a base for analysis through the application of Gayle Rubin?s theory on the hierarchical value system of sexuality.Following, are the main themes throughout the paper: The meaning of the context; Sexualized children; The possibility to (not) participate: differences of power; The decision whether or not to sell the publication and The position of the pedophile and crossgenerational love/sexuality within the LGBTQ community.Key words: sex radicalism, pornography, boy-love, kiddy porn, pedophilia, Destroyer, Gayle Rubin..

The novel American Psycho was first published in 1991. It recieved harsh criticism and was viewed as a work of heterosexism, misogyny and pointless violence. Despite the criticism, the protagonist, a wealthy serial killer yuppie namned Patrick Bateman, fascinated the readers. He hides his monstrosity behind a façade of heteronormativity, but this essay shows that the norms in American Psycho are fragile. Batemans relationships are shallow, his identity is constructed out of traditional masculinitynorms and even though he?s homophobic there?s a homoerotic undertone in the text, as well as gothic patterns that give the novel a fair amount of queerness too.

During the last decade of the twentieth century both ?manhood? and gender studies seems to have undergone changes. With the field of masculinity and the critical studies of men, added as ?subsections? of broader gender studies, new knowledge has been produced to better grasp the production of gender and power relations of patriarchy. During the same decade as the ?metrosexual? first appeared of the urban stage, acts of homophobia and attitudes towards ?manhood? seems to have changed.

Människor har blivit mer medvetna om de sociala-, miljö-, och ekonomiska aspekterna och hur bolagen hanterar dessa.  Detta har lett till att man på senare år alltmer har börjat investera i etiska fonder och därför spelar fondbolagens informationsansvar stor roll.Syftet är att skapa en förståelse avseende vad etiska fonder är och att undersöka hur analytiker arbetar med och analyserar etiska fonder samt hur fondbolagens informationsansvar regleras.Studien bygger på en kvalitativ metod med en abduktiv ansats, där intervjuer med fondförvaltare, analytiker samt Finansinspektionen har genomförts. Olika litteraturer, elektroniska hemsidor, vetenskapliga artiklar och intervjuer har varit väsentliga för studiens genomförande. De etiska fondförvaltarna undviker att placera i verksamheter som tillhandahåller tobak, spel, alkohol, Pornografi och vapen. Kyrkan har haft en stor roll i att fastställa dessa etiska kriterier. Eftersom etik är subjektivt och etiska fonder inte har någon absolut definition får fondbolagen ett större informationsansvar, där de måste informera om fonden på ett tydligt sätt.

This essay deals with 18 year old boys´ experience of their usage of pornography. My main focus was the pornography found on Internet, which includes pornographic films and nude pictures.Both developmental and social psychological perspectives were applied in the study. These theoretical perspectives were chosen, because boys´ view of sex, especially during their adolescence, are influenced by the increased supply of porn and that boys understanding of porn are influenced by values present in our society. The methods used were three focusgroups and a short survey with simple questions regarding pornography. The choice of methods was based on my standpoint that an open discussion concerning porn was less offensive of integrity, in comparison of working with individual interviews.

This paper is a research review in the realm of censorship systems andfiltering systems. It applies ethical considerations to the creation of censorshipsystems bringing forward discussion on the ethics of technology with thepurpose of limiting access to information.There is active research being done in the area of automatic content filteringand censorship systems. These are systems that can filter out undesiredmaterial, typically from the Internet, automatically. Used in some nations,many schools and even mandated in some libraries there are many ethicalquestions raised concerning censorship and access to information.Part of the review concerns the level of accuracy of these systems presentedby researchers in the field and the different approaches used. Reviewedarticles centre around automatic content classification and filtering ofpotentially harmful materials with regards to minors while some relate tocensorship technology in a wider sense.Results show a general lack of discussion concerning the ethics of thetechnology in the research reviewed.

Våldtäkt är ett stort samhällsproblem, med över 3000 anmälda våldtäkter i Sverige 2007. Definitionen av våldtäkt är en tolkningsfråga som påverkas av moraliska synsätt. Denna synbygger på historiska, religiösa och kulturella faktorer och kring dem kretsar ett antal vedertagna myter. Sverige är känt för att ha kommit långt på väg mot ett jämställt samhälle, vilket skulle kunna innebära att svenskar har lägre acceptans för dessa myter. Få studier om våldtäktsmyter har gjorts i Sverige.

The aim of this study has been to investigate Swedish youth?s conceptions about pornography and sexuality through a gender and power perspective. The questions of issue were the following: 1. Does youth reflect about gender and sexuality concerning pornography? a) Does any norms appear concerning consumption of pornography and sexuality?b) Is any kind of power structure related to gender recognized concerning pornography? c) Does youth think that pornography effects the conception of gender and sexuality? If so, how?2. Are there any differences between how girls and boys reflect about the questions of issue above?The used research method has been qualitative individual semi-structured interviews with eight students totally, four girls and four boys, all in the ages of 16-18. The study has a hermeneutical and abductive approach.The result shows that the respondents recognize both positive and negative influences from pornography.

Denna studie utgår från tre fokusgruppsamtal med sammanlagt tio personer som betraktar sig själva som queera. Syftet har varit att analysera positioneringar i relation till diskurser som konstituerar kön, sexualitet och relationer, och hur dessa positioneringar och diskurser konstrueras språkligt. Feminist Post-structuralist Discourse Analysis har använts som teori och metod, kompletterad med en analys utifrån systemisk-funktionell grammatik. Analysen har visat hur deltagarna genomgående konstruerar ett ifrågasättande av normer som organiserar och kategoriserar kön, sexualitet och relationer. Utifrån queer positionering har kön och sexualitet genom agentiva verbprocesser konstruerats som dynamiska och mångfaldiga.

Syfte Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka japanska ungdomars uppfattningar om och erfarenheter av ämnena sexualitet, sexualundervisning och sexualupplysning. I anslutning till det undersöks ungdomarnas upplevda möjlighet att få sexualupplysning i Japan, samt vilka metoder och kanaler de använder sig av för att få tag på informationen. Frågeställningar * Vad har japanska ungdomar för uppfattningar om och erfarenheter av sexualitet?* Vad har japanska ungdomar för uppfattningar om och erfarenheter av sexualundervisning i skolan?* Vad har japanska ungdomar för uppfattningar om och erfarenheter av sexualupplysning?Metod Jag har använt en kvalitativ metod och gjort tolv intervjuer med japanska ungdomar i åldrarna 21-26 år. Jag använder mig av tio av dessa intervjuer i uppsatsarbetet där ungdomarnas egna och subjektiva erfarenheter, ord, beskrivningar och uttryck är centrala.

Under de senaste åren har det blivit allt mer populärt att investera pengar i så kallade etiska fonder. Det är fonder som inte investerar i vissa branscher inom exempelvis tobak, alkohol och vapen. Begreppet etik är dock svårdefinierat och har olika betydelser för olika personer. Det är därför upp till varje enskilt fondbolag att utifrån sitt eget perspektiv investera i de företag som inte anses vara oetiska av just dem.Studien ämnar analysera de etiska fonderna på den svenska marknaden och deras placeringsriktningar, för att sedan diskutera om det är möjligt att standardisera begreppet etik inom fondmarknaden. Syftet är också att diskutera huruvida det är möjligt investera i en etisk fond med gott samvete.Undersökningarna som gjorts är av det kvalitativa slaget, och insamlandet av data har skett via litteratur, Internet, intervjuer samt tidningsartiklar.

The thesis examines how sex/gender and sexuality are represented through text and images within the Internet community Sylvia whose primary target group is girls. Through an examination of the aesthetics, the member rules and the choices that constitute the framework for the site, the study observes Sylvia as a cultural context. In relation to this setting, the ten most visited member profiles at the time for the study are more closely examined. These profiles are studied from a constructivist view of sex/gender and are analysed from the perspective of feminist and quee r theory as well as in the light of feministic debates concerning sexuality and erotica. The thesis shows how Internet as a forum and the non-heterosexual context Sylvia open up for a constructivist understanding of sex/gender and also leads to a questioning of "masculinity" and "femininity".

Denna uppsats undersöker hur transsexuella individer gestaltas på den amatörinternetpornaografiska webbsidan XVIDEOS - den största internetPornografiska webbsidan. Vi har tittat på hur XVIDEOS som webbsida är med i denna gestaltning och process och hur XVIDEOS och dess innehåll återger en bild av vad den transsexuella kroppen - och sexualiteten förväntas vara. Det effektivaste sättet att föra denna undersökning på, är i vårt fall att analysera mainstream amatörinternetPornografi med transsexuell amatörinternetPornografi på XVIDEOS genom vår valda sökprocess. Vi tittar på det här framförallt i filmsekvenser som hittas på webbsidan, men också i hur webbsidan i sig kategoriserar och bidrar till konstruktionen. Vi ämnar inte att stämpla vad som är korrekt eller inte, utan snarare att analysera material för att ge klarhet i ämnet.
