What requires knowledge about how to recruit in a professional manner andreliable ways. In many bigger organizations, there is today a human resources department thatonly works with recruitment of new employees. The purpose with our research is to describepersonnel selection process in a big swedish organization, how they work throughout theentire process.

Our companion animals can, with or without symptoms, carry infectious agents which have a potential to induce diseases in man, so called zoonoses. An immune compromised person has an increased risk of becoming infected by various agents, and thus also has an increased risk to become infected by one?s own companion animals. A study was carried out within the veterinary program at SLU, Sweden, based on a questionnaire answered by 31 physicians, 31 veterinarians and interviews of 30 immune compromised persons in Sweden. The study investigated the following questions: Which zoonoses do physicians and veterinarians consider to be the most important to inform immunecompromised persons about? How are immunecompromised persons being informed by their physicians about the risk of catching zoonoses from their companion animals? How are the owners of zoonosis-infected animals being informed by their veterinarians about zoonoses? Does veterinary medicine and human medicine communicate about zoonoses, in order to take the best care of immunecompromised persons in contact with animals? The results of our study imply that: - Physicians and veterinarians differ about which zoonoses immunecompromised persons should be informed about. - Only oral information is passed to immunecompromised persons and animal owners.

The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of being a family caregiver for aperson with dementia. A further aim was the inclusion criteria and data collection methods inthe studies presented, and how this may have affected the results of the studies. The methodwas a descriptive literature study with qualitative approach. Data were collected throughdatabases Cinahl and Pubmed using the words: dementia, knowledge, information, support,caregivers, coping, spouses, experiences and family caregiving. Keywords were combined indifferent ways in order to refine the search.

En person som stammar får ofta lära sig att tala långsamt, för att på så sätt minska sin stamning. Betyder det att hög talhastighet alltid försvårar stamningen? Och ökar i så fall stamningsgraden linjärt med talhastigheten?.

När en person har genomgått stroke medför det stora konsekvenser i livet, inte bara för den som drabbas utan även för deras närstående. Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan får bättre förståelse för närståendes situation för att kunna möta de individuella behoven. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva närståendes upplevelser till personer som genomgått stroke efter den akuta fasen. Artiklarna i studien hittades i referens databaser och genom manuell sökning i referenslistor. Artiklarna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats.

This study is about the perception of politics in social work. The aim of the study was to seehow people working with social work in municipalities describe their perception of how politicsaffect their work. The study was conducted in two municipalities in middle Sweden,which had a transfer of power in the 2006 election. Six people; two social workers, two executivedirectors and two politicians was interviewed about their perceptions about politics, ifthe ideological direction of the municipal matters, and how politics effect social work and theorganization. As analyze method organizational theory with focus on change and power wereused.

Alzheimers sjukdom leder till att kommunikationen inte fungerar som den tidigare gjort och i stor utsträckning drabbas också närstående. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att sammanställa den kunskap som finns om hur kommunikationen kan stödjas mellan en person med Alzheimers sjukdom och dennes närstående. Inklusions-kriterierna var: vetenskaplig omvårdnadsforskning med fokus på kommunikationen mellan personer med Alzheimers sjukdom och deras närstående skrivna på engelska eller svenska, utgivna mellan 1995-2010. Alla artiklar till analysen har kvalitets- granskats och artiklar av låg kvalitet exkluderades. Sökning av artiklar planerades och utfördes rigoröst i PubMed och CINAHL.

Företag x fungerar som en knytpunkt ur ett logistikperspektiv på orten och här sammanstrålar mycket av godsflödena som kommer eller avgår med båt. Stora delar av exportflödena består av stål och trä där stora importflöden i huvudsak består av kaffe och olja.Nulägessituationen är som sådan att det är en ojämn fördelning andel importflöden med container jämfört med exportflödet. Skälet är att vi befinner oss på en plats med mycket tillverkande industrier som exporterar varor ut i världen. Resultatet av detta är att andelen import via Företag xs containerterminal är 25% jämfört med 75% i export. Ett problem som uppstår i samband med detta är att tomma containrar måste skeppas till Företag x för att möta den, i nuläget, större andelen export.

Studien har syftat till att skapa förståelse för hur verkligheten kan upplevas för personer som identifierar sig som homosexuella, bisexuella, transpersoner och/eller queer (H/B/T/Q), idag i Sverige. Vi hade en explorativ ansats utifrån detta syfte och använde oss av Grounded theory som kvalitativ metod för datainsamling och databearbetning. Vi intervjuade 11 H/B/T/Q-personer i Örebro, och vi fann ett antal centrala teman som var återkommande i intervjuberättelserna. Dessa handlade om hur sociala interaktioner med omgivningen påverkade den egna processen mot ett öppet liv som H/B/T/Q-person eller ett mer dolt. Det framkom också att det fanns en koppling mellan öppenhet i detta avseende och psykiskt välbefinnande.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the interviewed people feel about being described in portrait interviews and how exactly it matches with their own image of the interview. The main issues were: Do they recognize themselves in the published article? If they don?t, what do they think it depends on? If they had the opportunity to read the article text before publishing, to what extent were they allowed to make changes to the text? Do the interviewees trust the local papers? This report involves a qualitative study on portrait interviews from the local newspaper Barometern. The articles were selected between June and November this year. The criteria for the selection of articles were that it was to deal with a single person and there be one photograph of this person in the article as well.

Googling their employees and job seekers are becoming more common andin that we live our lives more and more on the internet it becomes moreimportant how we act and to think about what you publish on the internet.Each time you press a key, will leave a digital footprint behind and thereforeit?s important to know how to deal with this. The purpose was to describehow a person strategically can proceed to build an identity on the internet toget benefits in the job seeking process in the media industry and to describethe importance of the digital identity in the recruitment process in a smallertown. We?ve used a qualitative approach and made eight interviews withrecruiters from the media and also people who have built a digital identity.We?ve used Bauman?s theory about consumer society, Montoya?s eight lawsof personal branding and also theories about profiling, and communicationsplanning to analyze the material.

Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hur stor skadeverkan och stoppeffekt den nya ammunitionen, SPEER Gold Dot, har i jämförelse med den gamla, Norma SÄK. Vi vill även belysa hur viktigt valet av ammunition är för tredje person och polisen sett ur ett säkerhetsperspektiv. Eftersom detta ämne är så pass nytt har det mesta av materialet, som vi tagit del av, kommit från utlåtande, rapporter media etc. Vi har utifrån materialet valt att begränsa oss till endast tre frågeställningar, vilken effekt/skadeverkan har den nya ammunitionen mot den gamla ammunitionen, vad talar för och emot den nya ammunitionen, varför har man bytt till den nya ammunitionen och inte behållit den gamla? att argumentera mot en del av medias rubriker och den viktigaste av dem alla är om den nya ammunitionen strider mot Haagkonventionens eller inte.

En bättre värld genom faith? En studie om hur organisationen DIAN Interfidei arbetar för att skapa fredliga relationer i Indonesien [A better world through faith? A study about how the organization DIAN Interfidei works to pursue peaceful relations in Indonesia]. The aim of this study has been to analyze how an Indonesian NGO called DIAN Interfidei works with peacebuilding through faith in order to bring harmony between the various ethnic and religious groups of people that inhabits the nation. Through interviews and the study of Interfideis own source-material could their methods and problems be explored, and later on related to contemporary research in the field of conflict-resolution and peace-making. The conclusions that could be drawn from this study is that Interfidei primarily targets two specific groups (teachers of religion in schools and future religious leaders) in their programmes, because these groups in turn have the potential to affect several people in their own work.

Every second woman in Sweden suffers in their lifetime of fracture that is related to osteoporosis. Osteoporosis and fractures affect the person´s everyday life. The aim of the study was to describe experiences of feeling well among women with osteoporosis. Six women were interviewed with semi- structured interviews. The interviews were transcribed and the text was analyzed with thematic content analysis.

Sex equality law within the European Union is well developed and has since the Rome Treaty, given rise to several directives and other judicial acts on this matter of community law. The concepts of direct and indirect discrimination emerge from the general principles of Equal pay and Equal treatment and have been codified and amended several times until present.The lasts years, authors within the field of Equality Law has been pointing out that there is a common desire for simplification of discrimination law in Europe. The question has arisen whether this simplification could be implemented trough the introduction of a general justification defence for direct sex discrimination.The concept of direct sex discrimination - when a person of one gender is treated less favourably, on the grounds of gender, than a person of the other gender would be treated in similar circumstances - leaves no possibilities for such justification today. Indirect sex discrimination ? which arises from the equal application of neutral rules that shows an adverse impact on one group ? can be justified if the rule answers to true requirements of the job.Does the proposition that direct discrimination should be justified find support in the inconsistency of the present legislation? This paper will examine this and other questions concerning the wish for a general justification defence through studies of case law from the European Court of Justice as well as differing opinions from authors within the field of equality law..
