AbstractWhen immigrants move to Sweden from their native country it is not unusual that they experience some kind of identity crises. Their own experience of their cultural identity can be very problematic and they often lose a part of what they previously saw as their own identity. To handle such crises the immigrants can use different strategies. They can for example accept their disparity, deny it or emphasize it. The aim of this study is to examine how immigrants in Sweden experience that their cultural identity has changed since they moved here from a country that has a culture that is different from the Swedish culture.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the legal protection against sexual harassment at work functions, and where to draw the line. The study is limited to focus on the sexual harassment directed at women from men, because it usually occurs that way even though only a few report the incidents. The results are discussed from a gender perspective on how the distribution of power is between men and women as a way to explain sexual harassment.Sexual harassment is currently protected by the discrimination law and the EU principle of equal treatment for men and women. For a behavior to be considered as sexual harassment it has to be unwanted by the receiving party and the person practicing the harassments must be aware that the behavior is perceived as offensive. The behavior shall be of a sexual nature and contribute to a disadvantage for the victim in the form of a violation of that persons integrity.It is the victim that determines whether the behavior is perceived as sexual harassment or not, what one person believes is a friendly behavior may be perceived as offensive by another.

I arbetet i vården kommer vårdaren i kontakt med personer med demens. Mötet med personer med demens kan vara komplicerat, det kan vara svårt att veta hur vårdaren ska bemöta en person med demens. Syftet med denna kvalitativa litteraturstudie var att belysa vårdarens möte med personer med demens. Analysmetod som har använts for att analysera materialet var Burnards 4 steg. De kategorier som kom fram var att tolka och förstå personen med demens, anpassning och känsla av otillräcklighet.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka till vilken utsträckning människor upplever att de påverkas av media i sina attityder och åsikter kring politik, Och studera åldersskillnader mellan åldersgrupperna 18-25 och 65+. Vi ville även undersöka vilken inverkan medias politiska rapportering har på respondenterna. Det gjordes en kvantitativ undersökning i form av en enkätstudie. Enkäter delades ut till 104 respondenter, 52 i åldersgruppen 18-25 och 52 i åldersgruppen 65+. Resultatet visade att det finns vissa ålderskillnader i hur espondenterna upplever påverkan från media i sina politiska åsikter.

Background: The relationship between advanced age, presence of illness and impaired functioning is well known. A large proportion of the elderly population has an extensive need of care and service and therefore need help from municipal care. Aging is a transition in life and also affects the person's identity and self image, making the person particularly vulnerable and challenging everyday safety. It is therefore of importance to gain knowledge about which factors at individual and organizational level that support a person-centered nursing care for the elderly so that caring responsibilities and staffing of nursing personnel may be scheduled based on need. Aim: This study aimed at describing dependency and care needs of elderly persons living in ordinary housing, sheltered housing and nursing homes. Furthermore the study aimed at describing how the dependency was related to the staffing of non-licensed and licensed nursing staff in nursing homes. Method: A descriptive and analytical quantitative method was used in the study.

This examination intends to find out what thoughts children in around 12 years of age thinks about their own television consumption. To examine this, the questions in issue is: ?What does the children watch on television?? ?Why do they watch the programs they do?? ?How do the children speak about their own consumption?? ?What does the children learn from TV?? ?Are the children concious of the impressions they take from TV?? ?Do they speak critical about TV?? ?Is there anything indicating on some kind of influence from the childrens television consumption?? .To answer these questions I have chose to hold qualitative interviews, to let the children?s own thoughts be the foundation of the examination. The theories in this examine are that the person who does the consumption from different forms of television takes the information personally out of her own reality. Meaning that the person watching is the judge of how she applies the information to herself.

How you areperceived by the crew when going from to represent a part of a system to represent adifferent part of the same system and if you are ready to assume the responsibilities of thenew role entails?This is relevant and interesting as we will soon is facing at this transition. The work isbased on a qualitative approach. The choice of this method gave the information neededfor a perfect result.Interviews were conducted through personal meetings with active officers which alsoprovided the opportunity to ask follow-up questions and the respondents were given theopportunity to share their experiences.

Syftet med studien är att ur pedagogers perspektiv undersöka vilka faktorer som lärarna anser är centrala för att arbetet med Grön Flagg ska leva vidare i skolverksamheten. Studien är en fallstudie av kvalitativ art, där intervjuer, observationer och dokumentanalys har kombinerats. Studien har utförts på två olika skolor. Resultatet av studien visade att det fanns fyra olika faktorer; pedagogernas miljöintresse, skolornas närmiljö, drivande person samt arbetssätt, som pedagogerna ansåg vara viktiga för att driva Grön Flaggprojektet vidare på skolorna. Våra slutsatser är att det är pedagogernas miljöintresse som legat till grund för starten av Grön Flagg och att skolans närmiljö påverkat pedagogernas syn på att förmedla miljömedvetenhet till eleverna.

The thesis examines how language, culture and family structures interrelate and affect the process of migration. Vital is how women from a different ethnic background integrates during migration and in a dialogue context with us as researchers and native Swedes. The thesis is interdisciplinary and analyzes empirical data through a qualitative method by using the perspectives gender, ethnicity and identity. The empirical material consists of 7 interviews, which have been transcribed and then broken down in to quotations. Thesequotations have then been analyzed using the perspectives mentioned above.

Background: In previous studies on the subject hope it has been revealed that hope is an important condition for the experience of health, quality of life and well-being. In the literature hope is described as a great support in life that is vital for a person's life and for how the person manages to become afflicted with a fatal disease. Within palliative care the 6S: s is a person-centered model for care that is directed towards the promotion of patient´s participation, relief from suffering and enablement of well-being and support of the patient and his or her family members. Aim: To describe how patients find hope in their situation in palliative care, and to examine whether there is an interaction between the different dimensions of 6 S: s model and with patients' experiences of hope. Methods: This degree project is literature study.

Relationen mellan läraren och eleven har stor betydelse för trivseln i skolan och i klassen. Vi har alla våra erfarenheter av lärare och hur man uppfattar sin lärare varierar från person till person. Syftet med detta arbete var att studera bemötandet av lärare i årskurs 6 ur ett elevperspektiv, och på vilket sätt detta bemötande påverkar trivseln i skolan. Hur viktig är relationen mellan läraren och eleven? Har eleverna någon gång känt sig orättvist bemötta? Elever i årskurs 6 har delat med sig av sina erfarenheter och tankar genom att delta i kvalitativa intervjuer.

En allergisk person påverkas på fysisk, psykisk och social nivå. Unga vuxna allergiska personers erfarenheter och upplevelser av allergi är relativt outforskat. Syftet med studien är att förstå hur unga vuxna personer med allergi upplever att allergin påverkar deras vardag och hur de förhåller sig till ett liv anpassat efter allergin. En kvalitativ intervjustudie genomfördes med 10 deltagare i åldrarna 18-22 år som hade olika former av allergier. Resultatet visade att allergi har en betydande roll för allergiska personers identitetsskapande och många beskriver en strävan efter att passa in socialt trots sina besvär.

Min studie handlar om bemötande av psykiskt funktionshinder. Syftet med min uppsats är att beskriva och belysa hur bemötandet av människor med psykiska funktionshinder/funktionsnedsättningar kan gestalta sig. Genom min undersökning hoppas jag kunna bidra med kunskap om situationen för människor med psykiska funktionshinder i syfte att öka förståelsen i bemötandet av personer med psykiska funktionshinder. I min studie använde jag mig av kvalitativ metod för jag ansåg att det var bäst för min uppsats. Jag intervjuade tre personer, två personer som arbetar på ett boende för psykiskt funktionshinder.
